I'm trying to find a way of saying "this was the best pap smear I've ever had" without sounding…read morelike a creep. No woman likes pap smears. They are consistently unpleasant. But this was the least unpleasant one I've ever had. It was quick, easy, and painless. Aside from that, Elizabeth took great care in listening to what I had to say taking the time to explain things thoroughly to me. I went to her only because my primary care doctor was busy, but after having this experience, I will choose to just go to her first in the future. The only criticism I have is that she did not call me to give me my test results. Instead, some man with a strong accent called me and flatly told me what the results were. I found him extremely difficult to understand, and something about getting information about my vajayjay from a man I'd never met made me really uncomfortable. When I asked him to have Elizabeth call me, he resisted, which bothered me. Later on that day, Elizabeth did call and explain my results to me, but I still feel like it was completely inappropriate for them to have someone else call me to discuss the results in the first place.

I have been in this office many times and love my primary care doctor. But it was a breath of fresh…read moreair when I had Elizabeth Bartolomeo treat me. She is very thorough and wrote everything down. I got the feeling she really cared about everything that was going on with me. Her follow up was great too. She has a very positive attitude and makes you feel very comfortable in being treated. I can see the Passion for her profession in her enthusiasm and attention to detail. She also did not over step my doctor in treating me. She was very helpful and I feel totally better after seeing her. My outlook of my situation has really improved and I attribute it to her positive reinforcement and encouragement of me to following things through with her recommendations and referrals. I would caution against seeing the PA, Sarah Landis. Not only is she incredibly rude and…read moreunprofessional, but she is also condescending, argumentative and unkind. Instead of leading with compassion, Sarah became angry when I asked questions to better understand her decision making. This may come from her lack of experience and young age, causing her to feel insecure. However, those facts do not excuse her disgusting behavior. I have never experience this from a HCP before, ever! Patients always have a right to question their healthcare provider and to be part of the decision making process without fear of retribution. To make matters worse, I overheard Sarah speaking horribly about me to another staff member when she thought I'd left. Without a doubt, Sarah Landis is THE absolute worst example of an arrogant, mean-spirited provider. Run, don't walk!

Still no accountability here. Management had no phone and no email for you to contact them. You can…read moreonly leave a message with a TruCare rep on the phone and then a manager will call you back once. If you miss that call you never talk to anyone and of course they can't give you an email or phone to call them back. Completely absurd! They comment on yelp to save face but you're never able to talk to anyone. This clinic needs to tell its doctors and chiropractors and staff to stop wearing fragrance. Fragrances are a migraine trigger and asthma trigger for a large percentage of the population and in not having a fragrance free clinic, you are not accessible to those with disabilities. Other countries and other clinics already mandate fragrance free for this reason. Please do better.

My partner and I took Maddy's online hypnobirthing class before the birth of our first baby, and it…read morewas amazing! Maddy is not only incredibly knowledgeable about women's health and labour preparation, but she also brings such a nurturing and calming energy that made the class truly special. We practised visualisation techniques that I used not only during labour but also in the months leading up to birth. One of the biggest takeaways from our class was that there's no single "perfect" way to give birth. By staying open to the many twists and turns labour can bring, and by using the tools we learned from Maddy, we could still create a wonderful birth experience. During labour, I kept returning to what Maddy had taught us--especially the breathing techniques and affirmations. My partner also learned practical ways to support me, which he found so helpful. There were moments when I felt I'd lost control of my breath and the pain felt overwhelming, but because Maddy had prepared us for that, I knew what to do. Using her techniques, I was able to regain control, and the difference it made was incredible. My partner even recognised those moments and knew exactly how to help bring me back to my breath. Thank you so much, Maddy, for your class--it truly set the foundation for my positive birth experience.
