I went to both and looked around and it seemed like I wasn't going to get much of a selection at either. But after a conversation with both stores, I realized Brewer's art actually had pretty much everything I needed. They have a pretty large selection of grains, hops, yeast, and wine making materials. They pretty much stick to the most common of ingredients, but will special order items for you if needed. I have yet to have the need to for them to special order anything. They sell white labs yeast. No WYeast. But their selection of yeast is pretty robust. The other store only carried about 4 varieties. They also don't carry 5 star PBW, but they have a powdered alkaline wash that honestly works just as well. They also have a container refill program. when your container runs out, bring the container back in and get it refilled. I can't remember if it's slightly cheaper for the refill or not, but it cuts down on a lot of waste. They are helpful, give good advice, and will help adjust your recipe if the alpha for the hops you ordered aren't what they currently have in stock. You just need to be receptive of advice. They can get a little bogged down on the days they get deliveries or have a lot of orders, so if you're worried about how long you will have to be in the store to grab what you need, give them a call or shoot them a message on facebook. My only real issue is there is no website to go look at current inventories or a list of their ingredients. I have been told this is in the works. In the mean time, they will happily give you a print out of that months current ingredient stock. They also have a rewards card so don't forget to get that puppy stamped.

When I went in you feel a little overwhelmed but the staff make sure you know 200% what your doing. They also tell you if you have any questions to call. My first batch of beer was a bust, but I took a bottle of it in like they asked. They told me exactly what went wrong and gave me a punch card full so I could get a percentage off to try again. Hobby Lobby is one of those stores where I can walk in needing one small item and somehow spend an…read morehour browsing. There's an incredible amount of variety, and it's genuinely enjoyable just walking through the different departments to see what's available. I stopped in looking for a few supplies for a project around the house and ended up finding quite a bit more than I expected. The selection of picture frames, craft supplies, home decor, and seasonal decorations was impressive. I particularly liked the framing department, which had plenty of options at different price points. It's nice being able to compare styles and sizes in person rather than guessing what something will look like from a picture online. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Even with the enormous selection, the departments were clearly marked, and I didn't have much trouble finding what I needed. The seasonal displays were especially well done and gave me a few decorating ideas I hadn't considered. Customer service was another highlight. I was having trouble finding a particular size frame, and an employee took the time to help me look through the available options. Rather than simply pointing me toward an aisle, she actually helped me compare a couple of choices and find something that worked for my project. I really appreciated that. The sales are also worth mentioning. Hobby Lobby regularly discounts different categories of merchandise, and if you pay attention to the weekly promotions, you can find some excellent deals. Some of the regular prices are a little high, but the sale prices can make a big difference. Checkout was straightforward, and the cashier was friendly and patient while carefully wrapping a couple of fragile items. Overall, a really enjoyable shopping experience. Excellent selection, helpful employees, and plenty of interesting products for both practical projects and decorating. Whether you're working on a craft, framing a picture, or just looking for inspiration, Hobby Lobby is definitely worth a visit. Five stars!

And to the brink of leaving. She currently has full time workers working open to whenever she feels like allowing them to leave late late nights. Then cuts their hours so they dont get overtime. She keeps the place short staffed so everyone has multiple jobs and then people get chewed out if they cant finish tasks. The isles are always filled w freight and the back room is stocked to the ceiling cause there isnt enough workers to get it taken care of before the next semi comes. She banks on bonus checks because she plays the system and keeps her sales high n numbers low. She fills clearance isle w broken garbage cause she thinks someone will buy garbage. The tension in the building is so high and when she knows upper management is coming its worse. I had enough and was able to be one of the lucky ones to go. Also she talks to workers like they are 5 yr old babies. She lies Ive caught her in a few. Like she will tell you tht water isnt allowed w/ out a Dr note then when u get one she will tell u they only allow a select amount of people per store to have a drink w them. Thts a lie.
