Speaking of overboard, when they say they have a boatload of fat quarters it's a literal rowboat of fat quarters! The people here are attentive and very helpful. And they have an excellent selection of blenders as well as panels. Plus some very cute kits. Their prices are on par with most other quilt shops. But that discount fabric makes it a great value. There are a lot of new, cheap items instead of rows and rows of vintage/antique items. It is important to note that the pea gravel in the market makes it difficult for mobility devices such a wheeled walkers or wheelchairs. The dust produced also makes one feel dirty to a point, due to the dust produced and touching items covered in the dust.

Parking is $5 and is well organized and we got a space right near the entrance. This proved to be important because of the many trips to the car with my brides newly bought "treasures". There is a lot of "stuff" here.... pots, pans, clothing, antiques, food and more. Many of the booths are Amish owned. We visited a booth owned by the loveliest Amish couple that sold hanging wind chimes. They were so helpful that we couldn't help ourselves from making a purchase. On most of the items we think were purchased at a fair price. In retrospect it wasn't about scoring and getting a bargain, it was for a truly unique experience.

Everyone was so friendly. So helpful. My friend was picking fabrics for a small wall hanging. This is her first foray into civil war, reproduction fabrics. Caroline was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring to watch. She explained what she was thinking and looking for in her color choices. I bought three kits. I never, ever buy kits.
