Everyone was so friendly. So helpful. My friend was picking fabrics for a small wall hanging. This is her first foray into civil war, reproduction fabrics. Caroline was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring to watch. She explained what she was thinking and looking for in her color choices. I bought three kits. I never, ever buy kits. I was innocently driving north on US31, and all of a sudden, I saw a sign that said "Yarn, quilts,…read morespinning, looms". U-turn (safely), and in I went. From the outside, this store is unassuming and in stealth mode, it also serves as the office for a storage unit property. The store is a single medium sized room, but it is well organized, and there is plenty of room for all of the goodies. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of lovely fibers in the shop. There is a nice area to take knitting lessons, and plenty of yarn to admire, pet, and purchase. There are also quite a few books - both older and new - that provide inspiration as well as must be purchased! The sharp-as-a-tack owner has lovely samples and knitted items that she's knit up and is happy to show you. There were several fibers that I would usually have passed by that I must buy now (and I bought some then) because I was able to see them in knitted form. There were finished objects that ranged from very simple ones that a beginner could have confidence in doing, to very complex heirloom pieces that inspired me. There was also a good range of prices and fibers from simple and easy machine washable blends to scrumptious baby camel and silk blends. She also sells spinning supplies, and a tempting selection of wool for rug hooking (I'm just learning this, it's the one where you cut the wool into 1/4" wide strips and punch it through the canvas). She has the supplies as well as whole kits for these rugs. The quilting is primarily the custom work that she does, there is no fabric on its own available here. I felt very welcomed, and will certainly stop in again when I'm anywhere near the area. I could have spent much more time here!

The newly-built store opened in April 2025 and is a combination fabric store and Amish general store. The aisles are wide, the lighting is excellent, the inventory is updated and very well organized, the prices are very good, the store is spotlessly clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The fabric section has an expanded selection of quilting fabrics. Cash or checks only.

We really enjoyed our time here, although we're perfectionist so we were there much longer than I thought we would be. But it was such FUN! After painting our pieces, you check it in to be fired then pay. At checkout I was asked if I had used glow in the dark paint or something else (I'm don't remember) which I didn't, but I guess there's an extra charge for that. I was probably told that by staff at the beginning & it just didn't register with me. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to returning soon. UPDATE: although we enjoyed our visit, the pick up process was not as fun. The day after the others in my group received texts that their items were ready for pick up & hI hadn't received a text yet. I decided to call to check & was told that they had no information. When I described the item, I was then told it was in the pile with the "Lost Contact Info" stuff and was ready to be picked up. A couple of hours later I went to get it. They couldn't find my item or any information. I was then told it was probably taken to be re-fired. I let her know about my previous call & that was not discussed. After looking in a couple different rooms, she did find my item. The pick up process seems a little unorganized. However, I did enjoy my time creating my "masterpice" :), and the staff was very helpful & friendly. With that said I will give them another try & hope for a smoother less confusing pickup process next time.

They have so many colors, stencils, tools, and of course the beloved eraser for the mistakes. The prices of the items are similar to what I have seen at other pottery settings, with so many unique items to choose from. The care that went into the firing and finishing process is evident in the lack of damages in my work and the thoughtful packaging when I picked up my piece. In my experience there was no extra charge for the firing process and the project took about 2 weeks to get my piece back, and I received a helpful message letting me know my piece was complete. Could not recommend this place more! For a solo trip, girls day, or even a more organized event with a group! Hope to be back soon!
