As others have mentioned, Jo Ann truly provides HORRIBLE service and I can honestly say that Jo Ann's Home Solutions is one of the most disappointing service providers I've ever dealt with. After an initial in-home consultation with the owner herself, I felt confident that Jo Ann and her team would provide a high quality cleaning service. However, the service we received was subpar, at best. At least half the time someone was scheduled to show up, they were a no show. And, as others have mentioned, when someone actually did show up, it appeared as though no one had even been in the house. The bathrooms didn't appear to have been cleaned at all - soap scum on the shower, residue on the faucets and counter tops, and spots on the mirrors. Our wooden floors were left streaky. In the kitchen, the stove top burners were never lifted and cleaned under, and the countertops were dirtier than when we left the house in the morning. The only evidence that anyone had been in the house at all, were a few haphazard vacuum marks. When I brought it to the attention of Jo Ann and explained my dissatisfaction, I was told that "the vacuum broke." Seriously?!!! No offer to fix the problem, no discounted rate, nothing. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I have a small, 1400ft house. I was looking for a monthly cleaner and found a groupon and figured I would give them a try. She cleaned one room in two hours!!! Literally, one room! All she did was vacuum and wipe some dust and after she left the room she did clean smelled like a bar, Cigarettes and sweat. I am now uncomfortable going in that room (my bedroom) because i feel dirty. As she was leaving she said "we are running a promotion and we will do another two hours for the same groupon rate. NO!!!! I would rather pay you $50 to never come back. Worst experience with a cleaner ever!!!! I first considered contacting the company to complain, but I don't want them back in my home. If they offered to come back to finish the cleaning I would say no. I actually contacted Groupon and told them they would save themselves a lot of time and money if they went ahead and refunded everyone who purchased this Groupon and keep this company out of their homes. No only did they clean just a single room, im now out the money I paid and feel dirty in my room. STAY AWAY! I saw a few good reviews on one website (www.thumbtack.com), which is why I decided to give them a try. After looking more closely, the reviews appear to be written by the company themselves. Joanns home solutions were hired to perform complete cleaning services and outside window cleaning services. They completed one part of the service but did not provide window cleaning services. Since we were out of town my aging in laws did not have the wherewithal to ask for a receipt and none was provided. They Billed us for both services. On speaking with one of their reps, they agreed to refund the money and ofcourse it was never done. Now we have to dispute the charge. I wish that I would have read Yelp reviews prior to hiring Jo Ann's Home Solutions, however reading several other reviews I felt confident that Jo Ann's Home Solutions was a credible company that would provide quality work. Boy was I wrong! Initially the "estimate" visit was impressive. The owner, Jo Ann actually came out herself and assessed the job. I explained how picky I am with my cleaning and expect that if the bathrooms floors are cleaned, that also means that the area behind the toilet gets cleaned as well. Jo Ann assured me that their technicians are extremely thorough and she appeared that I was almost insulting her intelligence. She assured me that floors would be WASHED, with WATER and DETERGENT and that window sills, cobwebs, corners, dusting, etc. etc. were all part of the general cleaning and not upgrades. She also told me that a supervisor would come out after the FIRST cleaning to assess the quality of the job. NOT! I have a fairly large home and travel with my job, so I had become overwhelmed with trying to keep up with the cleaning. I was so impressed with the "show" that JoAnn put on that I decided to hire JoAnn's Home Solutions cleaning service. I was initially looking for a long term regular service . . . So, I took a day off work to somewhat supervise and be available for the "young" cleaning technician that arrived at 8:00 a.m. About half way through the cleaning, I decided to take a look around at the areas that she supposed had just finished cleaning. After reviewing several of the rooms, I became disgusted. I would even refer to the cleaning as a bad cleaning job. It was a "lack of cleaning" job. I honestly do not know what this girl did for the 7 hours that she was in my home. As more and more time when on, I became extremely frustrated that I got burned. A few minutes before she was getting ready to leave I was attempting to call the main office & just ask her to leave. This young girl was in my home until 3:00 p.m. from 8:00 a.m.! After she left, I really got into the corners of the floors . . . there were cobwebs all over. My bathroom floor, showers, toilets, countertops weren't even cleaned or washed. I heard the vacuum turn on but there was no evidence that she actually used it. So this is the good part. I called the office immediately and had a "supervisor" on the line as I walked through the home. I became extremely upset as every where I inspected looked worse than the next. I inquired when the supervisor was coming to assess the "first job" as I was told. The "supervisor" advised me that she had other homes to visit that day and would not be able to get out to me for a few days. She also offered to reschedule. I advised her that I took a day off from work to have my house cleaned and the service needed to be rectified that day; that I was not taking any more time off of work. She again reiterated that no one would be coming out to assess the first cleaning as they had other homes to tend to. I left messages for JoAnn to discuss options for resolution & no return call . . . Ever! That was it. Customer service is not in their repertoire at JoAnns Home Solutions. By receiving no response from the owner of the company that appeared to be so skilled and impressive, I had no alternative but to stop payment on my check. Even that drastic measure didn't prompt a return phone call to try to save face and make it right. I in turn had to now clean my house. So not only did it cost me 7 aggravating hours of having someone in my home that did nothing, it took me double that of my own time to clean it. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I wish I could review their services, but since they showed up three hours late without a phone call,(that they claim they made, but I have cell phone records that prove they did not). They said they would honor the prepaid Living Social voucher and someone would call to reschedule. They didn't, nor did they respond to several phone messages and e-mails requesting a reschedule. When Living Social contacted them, they claimed my voucher was forfeited because they were "locked out"!!! I would stay far away from any business that lies, takes money, and does not attempt to provide services! At least Living Social refunded my money. read more

Their customer service is beyond horrible. I tried calling numerous times leaving my phone number and I never got a call back. They clean my house and it was by far only a subpar job I was in a pinch and I really needed my house cleaned and it was okay for the price. But I still found dust on numerous items and ended up having to go through after they left and sort of dust again which you definitely should not do after cleaning people just supposedly cleaned your house and paid them. There are so many cleaning companies out there do not use these people that is you and if you can get a hold of them which I'm pretty sure that you cannot because they never return phone calls. read more

Jo Ann came to my house to do their "assessment". During our initial e-mail contact, I told her what I needed to have done, which was cleaning of my main floor plus the windows on that floor. She gave me a quote of $79, but when I looked at the details of the contract, it only included the window sills and frames. I again stated that I needed the windows cleaned and she said no problem, it will be an extra $5. I agreed to that and we scheduled an appointment for the "assessment". After the assessment, she quoted a price of $49 for the cleaning PLUS $79 for the windows. Even though it was different than what she initially told me, I agreed to it because I really needed my windows cleaned, as I am physically unable to do it. So she told me that "Stephanie" from her office would call to set up an appointment. To this day, more than a month later, I have not received a call to schedule a cleaning. I would not recommend this company at all. This is very unprofessional. If they didn't want the job, they could have just told me and I could have contacted someone else who would have been happy to have my business!! read more

HORRIBLE service!!! Cleaners no-showed on several occasions, then came and DIRTIED my house....not cleaned it. I have photos of my shower that they "cleaned" while wearing muddy shoes. Did not clean the floors and said they did. When I complained, they told me someone would be out to fix the job and on three occasions over the next 24 hours the cleaners no showed until...two angry women showed up at my front door to YELL AT ME FOR COMPLAINING!!!! I had to ask for my house key back NO LESS than 6 times. They do not EVER answer their phone. They do not return phone calls. They are a HORRIBLE business to work with. Even the angry cleaners told me they can't get a hold of management themselves! Really a horrible company all around. PLEASE do not use them!!! read more
