A very good computer repair company. When trying to boot up one of our Intrex Computers custom…read morebuilt desktop home PCs, the Gigabyte motherboard firmware displayed a "Boot failure detected" message and wouldn't complete the boot. I took a cell phone photo of the screen and printed the image. I then took the printed image to the NerdsToGo store and showed the image to technician Jeffrey. Clearly Jeffrey was/is very knowledgeable about PCs. After viewing the image, Jeffrey indicated that this problem sometimes occurs because of brief on/off cycles in the power grid (which do occur in Cary). He suggested that, in response to the "failure detected" message I simply press the ENTER key on the keyboard to allow the boot to proceed to completion. When I returned home this did indeed work (after I replaced our wireless keyboard with a wired keyboard). Thanks to Jeffrey's suggestion, I was able to fix the PC without having to bring it to the NerdsToGo store. Jeffrey did not charge me for his suggestion. Thank you Jeffrey for your help. Much appreciated.

I knew I could not go through another tax return with it. The first place I went, I didn't feel confident they would fix it. I went back and picked it up the next day. An on-line search took me to Intrex. As soon as I put it on the counter, the young man said, Oh I can show you what this needs. In 3 days I have a computer that works like you would expect. It cost $100 to have this albatross fixed. I paid more than that because I had them add additional memory in order to put all my photos on it. It's nice to talk to people that know what they are doing. Reasonable prices and experienced people.

Mr. Ben called me personally to make sure that he could do everything possible to fix my issue and they did with some bonuses included! As I stated in my previous review, I had no issues with their professionalism nor customer service. The gentleman that work here were fantastic! And special shout out to Mr. Ben, the owner! Blessings to you! I'm going to leave my previous review below For context --------------- I'm only giving 3 stars because I am a Mac User. My general experience was good with this company... it's just that I found out after paying and bringing my new drive home (but not being able to seamlessly access my data), tthat they don't have a mac in office. My new drive was formatted to Windows (although I'd already formatted it for compatibility with my macbook). While i can read the data, I can not actually open my Adobe libraries or programs, nor can i partition the drive because of the way it was set up. I will update my review upon final resolution.
