As a first-time homeowner, I knew almost nothing about remodeling. When I met with Idan, he took the time to ask a lot of questions to understand exactly what I wanted and helped bring my vision to life. Hector and Carlos did an excellent job. They were very communicative throughout the project and genuinely cared about every detail. The final result exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and my new kitchen and bathroom completely transformed the feel of my home. It honestly feels like a little piece of heaven. They weren't the cheapest contractor, but they were fairly priced, and the quality of the finished work made every dollar worth it. If you're looking for a trusted general contractor in the Houston area, I highly recommend IAS Boutique Remodeling. Ask for Idan you'll be in good hands.

I called on a weekend and they were at my house on Monday to give an estimate to remodel my walk in shower. We went over the tile's design & hardware finishes. Once we agreed on everything we scheduled for them to come & get to work. The crew called ahead before arriving, prepped the area where they would be walking through & got to work. Once they finished they made sure the boss (my wife) approved and cleaned up.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this contractor. Communication,…read moreprofessionalism, pricing, and the overall handling of the project were all frustrating. Throughout the process, we dealt with issues surrounding the scope of work, pricing, timelines, and expectations. What should have been a relatively straightforward project became unnecessarily stressful. We felt that communication was poor and that we constantly had to follow up or address issues that should have been handled proactively by the contractor. The quality and overall experience did not match what we expected for what we paid. There were also disagreements regarding the work and charges that left us extremely dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I understand that issues can come up during any home project, but what matters is how a contractor responds and resolves them. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we did not feel that our concerns were handled professionally or appropriately. I would not hire this contractor again and cannot recommend them based on our experience.

I had to pay to have a true professional drywall installer come and FIX Juan's terrible work! I've also attached a photo that shows a section of drywall where the surface isn't even. It looks like mudding that was never evened out. The other photo shows where Juan's crew had ripped the top left portion of the tarp. You can see that the plastic is hanging over. Because that large spot was left open, one of the workers sprayed Killz paint on that section of my wall. Juan & his crew are amateurs - they don't know what they are doing and shouldn't be charging high rates for crap work. TRUST ME, IF YOU HIRE JUAN, YOU WILL HAVE TO GET SOMEONE LATER TO FIX HIS MISTAKES! HIRE A PROFESSIONAL!

They have an awesome design center and team (special shoutout to Luisa!) where you can make many great selections, but they also took my vision for custom flooring and cabinetry and made them possible as well! The quality of the team's work is amazing! They meticulously laid out our tiling and carefully installed all of our fixtures and everything looks and works great! We had gotten a quote from a corporate remodeling company before reaching out to Tico and it was astronomically higher and they offered no real customizations so we would have gotten a cookie cutter bathroom for double what I got my dream bathroom for. We enjoyed our experience with Tico Home Remodeling so much that we used them soon after the bathroom for another smaller project in our kitchen to replace old lighting as well. We highly recommend Tico and will continue to be return customers! Here are our before and after photos:
