This company is the worst organized that I have ever seen. I was looking for new agency to represent me, and I had questions about their 401k plan. No one there knew the answers and would not take the time to find the answers my questions...they told me to call their payroll processer ADP. ADP wasn't able to help me because JM didn't provide me with their plan number. Now JM just hangs up on me when I try calling or they let the machine pick up. They won't return phone calls, answer questions, or even talk to me. I would not use them now even if I did get the answers to the questions that I was asking. STAY AWAY....this company is a mess. Going to stay with Apple One. They care about their employees and take the time to listen to questions and actually will do everything they can to answer those questions. read more

I applied online to a nurse position in which I was qualified for. After week one of no returned phone call, or email response, I decided to call them back and ask about my status. I spoke with Rachel and she asked me for my name and phone number and stated she would get back with me. Week two, I still did not hear anything from Rachel, therefore I decided to call again and asked to speak with Chiquita Bell. Rachel took my name and number, stating for a second time, that someone will get back with me. Now....several friends of mine, who had less experience than me, applied for the same position and were set up with interviews with the correctional facility that need nurses. I thought by being a Veteran of the Armed Forces, having met the qualifications stated online, that at least I would be considered like my friends were....I was wrong. After hearing the great news from my friends about their advancement, I called again.....week three....to ask about my status, I was met with the same line, but this time....very rude, and unprofessional! Then this morning, 05/08/2019, I got a call from Rachel stating that I do not meet their requirements. Stay away from this company and their affiliates! The negative reviews about this agency are accurate! They only use the VA name, they are NOT for Veterans, nor do they consider them! Here are the requirements listed on their website. I meet all of them. Requirements Valid LVN license with the state of California Valid IV/Blood Withdrawal Certification Current BLS/CPR card Current Driver License 2 years paid experience in a mid-sized hospital, correctional facility, or rehabilitation center Experience dispensing large quantities of medication Must be able to stand for long periods of time Have verifiable past employment references Must provide proof of immunizations including TB Majority of past experience should not come from Home Health Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. No felonies, misdemeanors, DUIs, etc. Willing to wait 4-6 weeks to pass background check read more

On December 3rd 2019, I received a call from Michael, a recruiter from JM Staffing. JM Staffing recruits nurses  to work on a contract for San Bernardino Sheriff Department. He wanted me to come in that day to discuss the Nursing position for the Sheriff Department. My discussion with Michael seemed to go well. He told me he would email me the paperwork that same day to apply for the job. He also told me he will schedule a interview for that Thursday with the Sheriff Department, and that he will contact me after our meeting to tell me the interview time. I didn't hear back from him after our meeting. I called Michael twice the following day, Wednesday December 5th, asking about the paperwork and the interview time for Thursday. He did not return either of my calls. I called the office the next day on Thursday December 5th. The receptionist told me that Michael was on the phone and that she would leave a message for him to call me back. I did not get a call back. I called the office again on Friday morning December 6th. I spoke to the receptionist again, and she told me that Michael was on a phone call and she would have him call me back. I did not receive a call back, so I called the office again later that day. The receptionist suddenly claimed that Michael was out sick that day. I reminded her that this was not what she told me earlier that same morning--she had claimed he was in the office but busy with a phone call, now she claimed that he was never in the office. This did not make sense, so I ask to talk with the office manager. The receptionist claimed that the manager wouldn't be in the office until that following Monday, and to call back then. I called the office on Monday December the 8th. The receptionist told me Michael was not in the office that day, and this time she did give me Michael's email address. I emailed Michael and told him that I had been trying to get a hold of him sense Wednesday, and asked if there any particular reason why he had not gotten back to me? I asked that he please reply to my email to let me know the status of my application for this position. I did not hear back from him. The following day, Tuesday December 10th, I called Michael again on his cell phone. While I was leaving a voicemail, he texted me and said he would call me back in 30 minutes and asked me to forgive him for his delayed response.  Once again, he did not return my call.  I wish I had read the reviews online before working with this company. As one reviewer states, "the company is unethical and unprofessional." That statement is 100% correct and says all that you need to know. Don't do business with this company. read more

I first began with JM staffing in 2018 working as a temporary elections worker. I continued to work for JM for a year in various assignments. They were always so helpful and constantly communicating with me regarding assignments. If you want to be talked down to, humiliated and told you are not good enough, JM staffing is the place to go. I was not interviewed but was attacked by Chiquita Bell. She tried to sit up on her high horse and be critical of me and my career. She even printed of my resume and scribbled all over it right in front of me in the guise of making corrections! I have done just fine with that resume. I wouldn't work for her if she had the last jobs on this planet. She even had the nerve to lie to me and tell me they would send me all the links to their application process, never got a thing from JM staffing. She did everything she could do to tear me down with her negative down talk, I could see right through her actions and let it bounce of me just like water off of a duck. I feel sorry for people like her, they have to hurt other people so they can feel good about themselves. And with people like her, no wonder my people can't pull together and own half this country.
