She says to me "are you still looking for work we found an entry level position you might be interested in". When I was job searching earlier this year, I submitted my resume through their website in hopes of getting a call from them to go over my resume and discuss any relevant job opportunities. While I did get a callback voicemail from a lady working here, I called back the same number and left a voicemail too when they did not answer. And I never got a second callback from them. Terrible communication skills from the office and staff regarding picking up checks and where to go for the pick up. I had called and messaged before going to the place to pick up my check when they tell me i cant because of direct deposit only when i get to the place. I went to this place this morning (11/27/2023) and the woman who I thought would help me discouraged me from pursuing a career that I am trained for stating: "Let me tell you how this works, we don't make the job fit you, we make you fit the job. Like I would like to own the Lakers but we know that's not going to happen, right?" Worst agency ever they send me out for an interview physical and back round check for 2 jobs, and still nothing to this day it's been over 4 weeks. Every time I call to speak to the person that's is"supposedly" helping me the receptionist tells me she's in a meeting no matter what time of day it is, and if I do speak to her she tells me to call back Tomorrow or she tells me about other jobs but then she doesn't follow up with me about them or anything and I still don't have a job with them. I'm not the only person ether I have met other people that have applied with them for complete different type of work environment then me and they haven't gotten a job ether. When I came in, I spoke to the phone recruiter, she took all my info, I only had to complete a few pages, watched a safety video, and met a recruiter in person. I said i just wanted to work and would be happy to take whatever they had available. I am not above getting my hands dirty at a lower rate of pay than i am use to. I saw an ad in craigslist for a data entry position so I replied to the e-mail. The same day, a couple hours later, I get a phone call from this temp agency about the job. I go into their office to fill out paperwork and take the typing tests. Environment of the office: all spanish magazines in the waiting area, all the employees are chatting about shoes and shopping, none of the employees are paying attention to people walking in to sign up with their agency. Total time spent there: 2 hours (mostly just sitting and waiting for paperwork and the typing tests). Job assignment and complaint: I went on my assignment to work a seasonal data entry position. After my assignment was over (1st week of September), I was instructed NOT to return to the job site to pick up my personal belongings but that the recruiter (Abigail) would pick them up for me and I could collect them at their office. I called weekly to see if my stuff was ready for pick up. Four weeks later she finally says I can come gather my personal belongings. I go to the office to find out that there are some items missing: pens, pencils and my mouse. Abigail says she will mail me the remainder of my belongings. I kept calling them to find out where my stuff was. On Friday, October 28th, 2011, I received a package in the mail. It was NOT my stuff. I specifically told them what was missing back in September: a Logitech optical mouse USB port brand new with the original plastic bag that it came in with the serial number sticker on the bag, and a detailed description and location of where my pens and pencils were. In the mail I get 2 mechanical pencils that are company stock, and an HP dirty mouse with ps2 port and old style ball mouse, not optical. I called today, Monday, October 31, 2011 and Abigail says that she will not be able to gather my pens and pencils because other people have already sat at the desk where I once sat and the mouse is not there. Well of course she can't find my items because over two months have passed! Another employee must have taken my items by now! I have left a message for the office manager to look into this complete disorganization. How can their employees be so un-detailed oriented? I gave her specific detail as to what was missing, what to look for, and where to look for it. Next step is to call corporate and file a formal complaint. Now the items that are missing were birthday presents and cannot be replaced from a trip to the store. It's NOT the same. This office location is VERY unorganized and VERY unprofessional. read more

I really love this agency. The staff is very friendly. Marlene helped me with the hiring process and was patient, sincere and answered any question that I had. In all honesty, ALL the staff was friendly. I recommend this agency to anyone near the Covina area. Initially, I wasn't cooperative because I needed valid documents, I only had copies. They were calm and patient with me throughout and were happy I came back with the required documents and helped me right away. Thank you all for your help. Update as of April 25th, 2016: I really love the job provided by the agency. It's a simple warehouse job in Chino. However, I see the cons, and they aren't a few, within the office. Before my first day of work, I turned in some paperwork to the lady at the front desk that deals with direct deposit. So my banking information is there. I get a call from Soma a week later saying I didn't turn it in and she called about it a few times. Wonderful. I already know where this flight is taking me. They basically lost it. I told her I turned it in and she said she'll take a look at it. Another week passes and she tells me the exact same thing in which I told her the exact same response. She simply says she doesn't have it and I would need to turn in a new one. I'm a very patient person, but this is now testing it because I am very punctual and did my part. Granted, everyone is imperfect and I understand that, so I let it slide. I'll simply have he checks mailed to me a few days later, boo hoo. Here's where it gets fun. EVERY SINGLE TIME I ask for someone specific in the office, I get a "Whose this?" and a "What is this regarding?" I want to speak with the person I'm asking for, I don't need to explain myself. The individual is the one who went through the process with me and I only want her answering my questions, not Soma, Johnathan or anyone else. Simple as that. That has happened for the winning streak of 4 times. And yes, I'm trying to be a bit sarcastic and humorous because this covers any extreme negativity I had with this situation. Now, here's the icing on the cake. We had an agreed wage. The check comes in the mail, it's wrong. It's short. The hourly wage wasn't the one we agreed one. Now I'm upset. I called the next day and again asked for a specific person. You guessed it, "Who is this and what is this regarding." I tell them, "Oh, she's not here right now." Can't you tell me that right on the spot? Thanks! And from what my other coworkers say, they experience the same thing and have shortages on their checks as well. What was an initially good and great experience turned to stress and test of my patience. They said that they'll fix my check and it never happened. I had to take a day off on Friday so I can go in person. I'll update how that goes after the experience. Update as of May 9th, 2016: The issue was fixed swiftly with the errors on the check and I appreciate the help the office gave to correct the problems. If I may offer a tip for people looking at this agency, always be alert and pay close attention to double check everything is correct.
