This is a typical run of the mill nail spa but way overpriced compared to going rates at other nail spas. Would not go back.

I've never actually been to a real spa before (I've had facials and massages but never a full…read morelike... spa experience) and so I figured while on my very snowy December trip to Montreal now was the time. The fact that this spa is on a boat and half of it was outdoors was the appeal! So we booked just the water circuit (no extras, just saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs) to see if this was even something we'd like. Turns out the December visit was the way to go! It wasn't packed at all, and turns out that sitting in a hot tub while the snow falls on your face is actually a top ten life experience. It was cold as heck out, mind you, but somehow you never feel chilly when you're going in and out of saunas and hot tubs. I did wish some of the relaxation rooms were a bit warmer, or there was an ability to swap out a soaking towel at some point, but I was never uncomfortable. Everything was clean and people around us were respectful. I loved the no phone policy and definitely chilled out to staring into this strangely brutalist bay. David Lynch relaxation vibes. The best was the floor where you could sit in a porthole window -- only wish we had discovered it earlier! I would totally come back here and check out some of their other offerings. Dunno, might even aim for a winter trip again because it was just that nice!

Listen...I can admit it...I fell for their amazing online marketing. Once I booked my trip to…read moreMontreal, I would get ads, reels and TikToks on this place ALL the time. Finally I gave in and booked a day there for 3 of us on a Saturday afternoon. A spa experience on a boat on the water -- sounds amazing! I should have noticed on their website that they offer all sorts of discounts, etc to NOT go on the weekends. Why? Because it gets PACKED. Seriously packed. You feel more like cattle than a person enjoying rest and relaxation. Plus, I remember seeing they had a quiet section, but when I booked through the phone, their associate told me not to worry there is only a small portion that is a quiet section and then they have an outdoor section where guests can talk freely. Terrific because I knew we gals wanted to chat throughout the day. Well, we checked in and headed down to their locker room, which felt like a combo of a high school locker room in a basement, and we had to duck around the other guests and try to quickly change and head back up. We decided to go to the jacuzzi outside and even though it was raining, a jacuzzi looked like it would be heavenly. We got in and even though it was full in there, we started commenting on how nice it is. Some of the women already in there started fidgeting and then the next thing we knew the staff was coming over to us and reprimanding us for talking. We had no idea we had somehow wandered into the quiet zone but we quickly left and headed to the talking permitted section. That area felt like a Las Vegas day pool area -- lots of people everywhere. Every chair, lounge area, etc taken. We didn't stay too long there either. Then it was time for the massage. I had a therapeutic massage with tiger balm and it was probably one of the best massages I've ever had. That is truly the only redeeming part of the experience. On the one hand, I'm glad we went so we could have our own firsthand experience there, but also on the other, we still wound up getting massages in our own hotel two days later because we really wanted to have a relaxing experience while on vacation. Lesson learned!

I'm not new to massages, in fact I love them and make a point of going at least 5 time a year usually. I enjoyed my massage here with Simona. She was tough in the areas that needed it and released some of the tension I was feeling. It's a cute, small "spa" in the old port. I wish the entrance space was larger and there was parking included. The hammam part is small and would feel cramped for more than 2 people. They bring you tea at the end which I thought was a cute touch. Enjoyed my experience and would go again!

I was in a desperate need for some self-love and I was treated to a 90 minute Hot Stone Massage and an advanced facial. The combination of the massage and facial was just the perfect treat. The Hot Stone was soothing and relaxing. 60 minutes would have been too short, 90 minutes is just the perfect amount of time for it. During the facial, the aesthetician dedicated good part of the time taking out some of the blackheads on my face. After the facial, my skin felt plump and glowing. Recommend this spa, anyone looking to take 2-3 hours off their day to pamper themselves.

On one side of the room they have gift packages and each comes with a sleeve that has unique artwork and a poem. Sadly, everything is very expensive and I can't justify paying for any of it. I let my sales associate know this and she said it wasn't a problem. She gave me a catalog and some samples before I left just in case I ever wanted to treat myself. Excellent customer service! I was so pleased after my visit.

She specializes in Argan oil based skin care products. She has 11 different fragrant selections (that each product comes in so you can layer them) and every one of them is luxurious, rich, and absolutely lovely. There's an after shower body oil- (I love #10), a daytime and nighttime facial oil, a salt scrub, and lots of other products I haven't tried yet. I bought the body oil first and it made my skin so velvety soft, and I smelled so freaking good, that I went back the very next day to buy more. I purchased the day and night time oils, as well as the salt scrub, and they are all amazing. I'm totally addicted. I returned in December, and Margan remembered me - which is uncommon these days. She's so friendly and helpful. I brought my Mom with me this trip. I had been telling her how wonderful the scents and products are, and when she started smelling them she said "oh my goodness! They're all so beautiful how can anyone decide on just one?!" YES - they're that wonderful. I'm not doing the place or the products justice, but I love supporting local businesses and this one is amazing. You won't regret stopping by. She's online at https://maisonmargan.com/en You'll get better info there -but the products are fantastic and Margan is lovely so I wanted to support her and recommend her. Give it a try!

When you pay $70 +tip for a mens haircut at a salon, there is a minimum bar of customer service & attention -- every single time that bar has not been met. If you're available between 11am - 4pm to patiently deal with front desk staff while they figure out how to use their systems, re-repeat your name, phone number, email, schedule and your preferred stylist (and call you repeatedly), and then find no slots for you in the next month.. this place is for you. If you feel that $70 (+tip!) warrants customer service that goes above and beyond and offers flexibility to your 9-5 working schedule **without charging a "no-show" fee after you call to say you're late and get the answering machine** then you might want to look elsewhere. I was accompanying 2 other female guests, and as a guy, I felt quite awkward entering the salon but thought I would just look around to enable me to write about this new business. Awkward is probably an understatement. May be I just did not want to be caught in a pedicure chair. Is this a guy thing or what? Never felt so welcome and they utterly convinced me that I should have a pedicure which I graciously accepted. "I am embarrassed and should have cut my toe nails" I said. "Oh don't worry " was the reply. "in fact, it's better that you don't, as we will get your nails clipped, shaped and polished the professional way." Feeling awkward being a guy going in for a pedicure? Let me tell you that I was so wrong! So very wrong. Their motto is "we've got the highest hygiene standards in the beauty biz." Just a note that we have worked for a hygiene business for over 20 years and I can assure you that they take hygiene very seriously. Pedicure is about having healthy feet. It's a pleasure that everyone should experience. Life is meant to be fun. If you fancy indulgence then let your subconscious guide you, and The Ten Spot will have your feet scrubbed until they are soft. Any gunk hiding between your toe nails and skin will get painless removed. Your feet will be scoured with special soap and scrubbing salt until they reach a level of softness that you didn't know existed. The gentle foot massage improves circulation in your feet and stimulates the blood circulation and rejuvenates your entire body. Finally, the lotion on the feet, ankles and heals just buffs away the dead and dry peely skin. The place is ultra clean, bright and inviting. This is indeed a business that focuses on customer satisfaction, and leaving you feeling totally pampered. Guys, go for it. Your feet will thank you.
