JLO recently painted the interior of our home. They did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. Juan and his team were dedicated, neat, punctual, and sensitive to our needs. The painting job at our home was unusually complex, but Juan met every challenge successfully. JLO is so much superior to every other painting company we have engaged in the past. I highly recommend JLO; I have no hesitation in saying they are the very best. read more

the owner will not fess up to any damage there's been debree from his workers shooting at cars and house windows resulting in windows cracking and denying it. 0/10 read more

i tried these guys out because i wanted my rooms painted. once they arrived juan the owner gave an estimate and i agreed and they got to work the next week. once they finished i noticed some paint was on my carpets and my couch. i questioned juan and instead of owning up to his mistakes he said it was there before! bad business and very unprofessional. i would not recommend and suggest to try a different painting company! read more

Not sure why they have good reviews. Looks like management has changed. Their only good reviews were from over a year ago. Recently hired them to work on my house. Workers didn't able to cooperate because of language barrier. The owner was nice at first but once they started the job things changed. He damaged some of my property that was not supposed to be worked on and he did not take any accountability for. Clearly new company workers, I would not hire these guys unless you're down to deal with problems with no accountability. read more

If i could put 0 i could. Won't own up to property damage they cause. Would be nice if they would at least apologize.

Wouldn't recommend. There was damage to the property and the owner was very dismissive and rude about the situation. I really didn't appreciate how it was handled. read more

Unprofessional, low quality, no communication. Wouldn't recommend JLO Painting to anybody!

Juan did a great job on both of the projects we hired him for. He was very reliable and quick in responding to all of our questions plus had the best price when it comes to overall costs. He did two interior paint jobs and one included new drywalls. read more

They took care of several tasks for us: * removed old intercom system, replaced sheetrock, tape, and texture * removed popcorn ceiling from 2 bedrooms and replaced with new texture * painted both ceilings and the walls in 1 bedroom and a few other spots Their price was reasonable for all the work they did for us. The painting work was all excellent. I was most impressed with their sheetrock texture work. That can be very difficult to match with the old, existing texture. I can't even tell where most of the intercoms used to be, I am amazed. It can be difficult to find people who will do the work as good (or better) than you would have done it, but JLO is that guy. He clearly takes pride in the work and strives to make sure you are satisfied. Just don't be disappointed if Jennifer Lopez doesn't show up with paintbrush in hand. ;-) read more

We recently used JLO Painting for 1 bedroom interior painting. Juan visited property to provide detailed estimate and also list down explicit items to be covered within contract, including some minor patch work. The quote was pretty reasonable (compared to 5+ other Yelp vendors who contacted). They did stellar job and immediately followed up on minor remarks. Highly recommended for the 5 service at such a reasonable cost. read more

Juan took on a job (painting window trims) the very next day after I found him on Yelp! He was very helpful and communicated well. His price was affordable and the quality of work was excellent. I plan on hiring him again for future projects very soon! read more

Excellent work! Juan of JLO came to the house and provided us with a detailed estimate within 24 hours. First of all, Juan and his crew are the neatest contractors I have ever had in my house. Their tools and supples are always neatly tucked away when they leave the job site. Each night before they left, the would blow the driveway clean. Juan is professional and knows about paint and the products, gave great suggestions. Arrived on time on agreed start date. Juan and his crew are wonderful, they are extremely detail oriented, they did such a wonderful job in our home. I HIGHLY recommend Juan and his crew. They did a exceptional job, they are clean and trustworthy. read more

Professional and fast! Juan was able to help with a last minute lawn painting request and he was professional and resourceful. The environcolor paint was not available anywhere in the local homedepot/ace hardware/Lowe's. The ones available will burn the grass, so he called me and without me asking, he ordered replacement and paid for overnight shipping to have them delivered and painted next morning, without charging me extra. This is truly how a professional treat their work and I appreciate Juan coming to help out. read more

Juan was amazing. He did a great job with his crew. Very professional. All the painting job of my cafe has been done in almost half day which I was expecting at least three days. They responded all my requests without any issues. I definitely recommend if you need a fast but professional job for a very good price. They neared all the other companies' quotes without sacrificing the quality! Great job Juan, certainly will call you for my next painting job! read more

I can't say enough good things about JLO Painting. Juan was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions in detail. He clearly is an expert who knows what he is doing. I was originally a bit concerned since he did not have many reviews on here, but I went with him since he quoted a great price, had a thorough website, and was bonded and licensed with the state. Within a day of reaching out, Juan had come out to see my place and gave me a quote that same day. He repainted my 950 square foot condo in 2 days even though everyone else quoted 4-7 days for the same work. The painting was thorough and the lines were very clean. Other stand out things about him was his clarity on the scope of work of his bid. He was clear on what work was included in the contract and what additional costs there would be if I wanted to expand the work. read more

Juan came out for a small paint patch up job on a door. When he saw that it was going to be a smaller job than expected, he wanted to charge a lower price than the price he had quoted over Yelp, which was already on the lower end. When he wasn't happy with his first attempt at patching up the issue, he voluntarily said he'd come back for it after it dries so he can do a cleaner sand + primer + paint job, which he did just a couple of hrs later. Afterwards he even gave me his paint and roller so I can touch things up around the house myself. Juan is an honest, dedicated and generous business owner. I now know who to call for paint jobs! read more

Juan and his team did an awesome job for repainting my house. I came to Yelp with an expectation for someone to fix some paint issues on my exterior wall, Juan came and gave me very professional advice on how to proceed, he knows what need to done to make my house looks nice and add value to it. Overall I'm very satisfied with results and would recommend their service to everyone. read more

Juan and his crew were professional, efficient and accommodating. Juan was able to identify and work on details in areas that were overlooked. They were very focused on preparation work, painting one coat of prime and two coats of our selected colored paint, cleanup and removal. His estimate for the paint job was reasonable compared to others. He's willing to come back to touch up when our windows are installed. Note to readers - it's telling when a crew does not have a lot of conversation and nor radio/music for distractions. Juan and his crew did not. David S read more

Juan and his team did an amazing job painting my apartment. Incredibly responsive, Juan and the team were able to come within a day of booking and went above and beyond with every single nook and cranny to make sure the paint job turned out perfect. Juan and team did a great job at painting the exterior of our house. This included fence posts, fence gate, gutters, downspouts, fascia, door / window frames and belly band all of which was painted BM regal black paint contrasting with BM cloud white used for the body. The price was very affordable and Juan helped advise on the paint color and sheen which would suit our house. The team took great care in finishing touches with the paint work especially in regards to the black trim. They were very accommodating with minor changes to the requirements. Work was finished in 2.5 days with least interruption to the daily routines of the occupants. I would surely recommend Juan and team for house painting work. read more

JLO painting was responsive and provided a quote right away. They did an amazing job. They moved furniture and rug out of the room. The job was professional and expedient. Juan and his team is simply amazing!!!!! My landscape contractor recommends Juan. We hire them to paint our house and our fence. Juan is very responsive and answered all questions and concerns we have. He gave very useful suggestions. He noticed all details and he fixes a lot of areas that we even didn't noticed. The job are done perfectly. He made our old house looks like a newly-built house. Extremely satisfied! Don't worry about the limited number of reviews, I think they might just started the new business. I brought them over to paint a duplex apartment in Redwood City that I was moving out from and had a tremendous need for a professional company to make it look like new and they did! I got the full deposit back from my old landlord because of JLO Painting. I can't say enough good things about this company and their crew. From start to finish, they were professional and attentive. The level of quality exceeded my expectations and I am over the moon with the finished product. Thank you JLO Painting!! Highly recommend. read more

We originally wanted to hire someone to fix some inconsistent colors. Juan came and spent time to identify why the colors were inconsistent using the same paint years after (when I asked several other companies, they couldn't figure it out). Juan was candid to tell me I can do it myself since it's not hard to repaint the area, so we didn't end up hiring him because of that. But if you are looking for a candid painter, please give Juan a chance. read more

JLO Painting did an excellent job repairing and replacing my gutters and then painting them. I definitely recommend this company. We had other painters work in our house before, but JLO did the best job so far: 1) showed up at exactly the agreed upon time both to provide a quote, and every day to actually do the job. 2) we had some scheduling constraints, but they managed to get the job done within 3 days of agreeing on the quote. 3) meticulous and attentive to details: recommended the best kind of paints to use, they matched existing colors for better looking finishes around the edges where previous painters had simply left a line of the old/wrong color or to finish the closets, made sure to remove all plugs, patch holes, paint/refinish window seals, removed air vents except one that had to be painted over and replaced one at our request, did some extra work to better finish a wall and a door that weren't part of the original quote, and at the end of it we pretty much could not find any stain - while we were plagued by stains with previous jobs Would highly recommend. read more

If I could give 6 stars to Juan and his team I would! Juan is exceptional in detail. He goes out of his way to please both his customer and his crew. I found Juan and his team to be professional. We had our interior of a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo painted in Mountain View. We also installed recessed lighting in the kitchen. I recommend JLO Painting to anyone that wants to get the painting done correctly on time and within budget. You can't go wrong with this crew. read more

We needed to have our newly built fence to be stained in 2 different colors right away and be completed within a week. Juan Luis of JLO Painting responded quickly to our Yelp request and met with me ready with photo samples of stain colors and went over the details of the job very professionally. After review of other quotes received, we went ahead and accepted his proposal. We are very glad that we chose JLO Painting as they did an excellent job on our fence. They did everything that were asked of them without any questions. While staining, passersby couldn't help but comment on how beautiful the fence was. Now that the job has been completed, it is without any doubt that more nice comments would be heard, we are very pleased and proud of what JLO had accomplished. read more
