This company does NOT do quality work nor do they back their shoddy work when it fails. We hired Jesse to replace our 28-year old fence with a new one. They attached the new posts to the old posts footings, a big no-no in the fencing biz, so of course the new fence has now failed. JL Fence said they only warranty their work for 1-year and were too busy to come out and see the problem. We had to pay $840 to another company to repair JL Fence's failure. When we later spoke with JL's owner, Jesse, and told him that we have pictures and video showing how they cheated on the posts, he hung up on us. If you hire these flakes, monitor their work closely and ensure they dig NEW footings. What an expensive lesson we learned with these crooks. read more

Okay so I had to go through 12 companies to find this gem of a company. My neighbor and I had issues with pets getting through the fence and injuring themselves in the process. She found this one and the guy showed up within a day or so. Looked at the fence, measured and gave a solid price. It was more than what another company quoted but the other company dodged our calls and made it just so bad to trust another company, you pay a little more so the workers don't just work for free and that's more than great. The guys showed up yesterday to start the foundation work. They were very friendly and hardworking. They answered my questions and were gone before noon and they let me know they wee gonna finish tomorrow. Oh my goodness they are fast and so effecient. I had to leave before they finished for an appointment but let my neighbor know to give them a tip. They deserved way more for the gorgeous work they completed, I do plan to do the rest of my fence next year and will contact them again. It is straight even and the rocks I had there they aligned and decorated along the fence these guys are amazing. read more

I'm in the process of calling JL Fence again, to have them come and build another fence on a new home I've just purchased. They have built fences for me on 4 other projects and the fences have been perfect every time. The crew is fast and efficient, and the materials are of the highest quality. Because I buy and restore homes, I can choose pretty much any fencing company I'd like, but I really do prefer Jesse and his company. Most timely, most professional, friendly and they've done excellent work on each of my jobs, both large and small. Looking forward to their next project for me! Jl fencing built a fence for me 5 years ago and it's already failing where few sections are leaning. I called few times to have them take a look at it, but they claimed they are too busy and the failure is probably due to water or termites without actually looking at it for proper diagnosis. They kept giving me the run around for almost a week,and kept saying that they only warranty it for a year. I basically explained that I wasn't expecting them to fix it for free, but the least they could do was to give me a proposal. I believe the failure is due to very bad workmanship and bad construction practices. Don't use them, a fence should last at least 20 years, but this one couldn't make it past 5!they charged me a lot of $$$$. They don't honor their work and they definitely lack the workmanship and ownership needed in this field. read more

I admit I was skeptical about a white, vinyl fence and how it would look under bright desert sunshine beside our mid century modern home. But Jesse Luis of JL Fence helped us pick a fence that incorporates the minimalism of modernism without strictly imitating the details of that period. (See Photo #4 in JL Fence's gallery for the general idea.) The result is stunning and a beautiful addition to our back and front yards. Jesse and his crew showed up right on time as promised. They worked quickly and cleanly, despite temperatures that reached 110 degrees. They not only cleaned up after themselves, but took away the splintered remains of our old redwood fence. One not so small hitch, entirely OUR fault, not Jesse's. We were given two options for a section of fence that hides the pool pump and WE made the wrong choice, one that conflicts with the house. Again, entirely our own fault. But Jesse agreed to tear out the 12' section and reinstall, basically at cost! I should also mention that the bill came in at exactly the estimate, with no hidden surprises. We will not hesitate to call on JL Fence in the future. read more
