Every commitment that was made to me was kept, and the quality of the workmanship is absolutely perfect. In fact, if you get the opportunity to request Joe, Aaron, Joe Junior and Juan to do your installation, I would rather wait an extra 2 to 3 weeks until those guys were available. I'm sure the other guys that they have are very good, but I just don't know them. But these guys did my installation and the workmanship is superb. The attention to detail, the angle cuts. I hired Good Fence Company, owned by Easton and Heidi Good, for a multi‑part fencing project completed July 20-21, 2026, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The scope included 70 feet of 6‑foot vinyl privacy fence along one property line, a double gate for the left side yard, a single gate and short 6‑foot section at the back‑yard entrance, plus 70 feet of 2‑foot vinyl rail fencing on the opposite side. They also removed and hauled away the old wooden fence. A two‑man crew arrived exactly when promised and worked tirelessly over both days. The original company that installed the fence 9 yrs ago did not put concrete in the posts, which led to the fence not being stable in windy conditions, and several posts cracked. I would look elsewhere for your fence/gate needs. I chose Good Fence based on reviews here and wish i did not. Fence is pressure treated wood with metal framing. The fence wood was half installed (most planks only had 1 lag bolt installed) and has since warped badly. The installer was supposed to come back after going to home depot on thr last day of install to fix the gate spring but never did. I asked to have someone come fix the wood and they no showed on a scheduled appointment. Ive asked how they are going to fix it after and have heard nothing back. read more

Communication and scheduling. My understanding is that the guy who gave me an estimate for the fence Rosie was his wife who failed to schedule the repair (price agreed upon) weeks go by without a call. She, Heidi, doesn't answer the phone. I get text on the 20th saying she'll look at next week. Today is the 29th. I went in to a Home Depot to complain. Home Depot called her. She didn't answer the phone. This company needs some new management for the customer service is sorely lacking. read more

The second one is a front gate but Edgar suggested a better design that he welded together. I originally went for a plain iron grill gate but Edgar did a better design with the same reasonable price! We are in a 55+ community and when the owner came to give us an estimate, he assured us that the landscape plastic and gravel will be put back like it was. He said it would take a day to complete the fence. Then when scheduling us, they said 2 days. The day came and I contacted Heidi, owner's wife, to see when installers would come. She said they're on their way and will be here by 10:30am. 2 hours later (12:30pm) they came and said they only had the materials for the gate and the whole install will take 3 days. The neighbors were so mad because they never let them know it went from 1 day to 2 days to 3 days. One neighbor who was sharing in the cost complained to me that they left her newly painted house in a complete muddy mess. Then when they completed the fence, I saw that they tore up all the landscape plastic on all 3 sides and mixed all the pieces in with the new gravel. Along with the dirt, gravel, and pieces of black plastic, they mixed it all in together and dumped it all back. They left everything in a mess! My husband and I can't physically clean it up (he has Parkinsons) and on a limited income. I contacted Heidi and she said she'd have someone come out and take a look this week. I asked what day and, like before, no response. The next week came and I asked when they'd come out. She asked for photos, which I sent before and after photos. Without coming back to see, she said they can't repair it and would give us $100 credit and gave the excuse that they couldn't help but tear it up. It feels like they're pros at taking advantage of senior citizens. It's one thing if the owner told me that when giving the estimate, but its another when he said nothing will be torn up and it will all be put back the way it was. Obviously, Good Fence isn't so good! After they get their money, their customers aren't cared for and they don't do the right thing. You can't trust what they promise you what-so-ever. There's too many actual good fence companies out there who have integrity and do what they say they will do and if they dont, the owner comes back and makes it right. I would never recommend Good Fence, especially not for senior citizens. read more
