The Blend 5 is described as a luscious aroma of black cherry, pomegranate, and wet slate that gives way to juicy plum and vanilla. It was great. I also asked for the popular white. The SSV Sauvignon Blanc is a delicious and crispy white ..of vibrant aromatics of citrus, crisp edge minerality and sweet herbs that tease the refined acidity with a refreshing finish. Today we came for Sunday lunch and enjoyed quiche. Lorraine and the kids had spaghetti with meat sauce. We had a black forest cake for dessert and also ice cream sundaes for the kids. We drank Whitaker's sparkling grape juice for our meal. It was a great hit. The kids really enjoyed it and they said they wanted to come back soon! It's probably been five or six years since we have been here and the kids really didn't remember it. We did learn that they're not giving tours of the wine cellar since Covid at least not without some kind of special arrangement. The service was excellent and I would add the same lady that waited on me today was waiting on me many years ago when I first visited here when I was 11 years old. Our son does not enjoy wine, but they offered non-alcoholic beverages for him to sample as well. We appreciated this kindness. In addition to the wines we purchased some artisan soaps and body lotion made from wine sediments with amazing scents. We also purchased some homemade apple butter. As it happened today we were not hungry at the time so we did not visit the restaurant but look forward to going there on a future trip. The clerk was extremely helpful and friendly. She took the trouble to make sure we enjoyed the experience and got out of it what we were looking for. This was all the more appreciated since this was our daughter's first wine tasting.

The yurt had all the comforts of home minus WiFi and tv but that was perfect as it gave us time to disconnect. We watched the sunset from the chairs right outside and then got to see the stars from the skylight. It stormed that morning and it was a cool experience inside the yurt. If you can appreciate nature but still like all your comforts this is the perfect accommodation! We've already booked our next trip!
