Great brokerage, great agents, amazing atmosphere and culture. Love the hustler mentality built at this company.

They advertise 24/7 support for realtors but did not answer realtor issues in a timely manner, sometimes days would pass.

PMI PHX Gateway has been terrible to work with--particularly our liaison, Amanda Jasso. We lived in…read morethe home for seven years, and PMI took over our lease at some point. In our view, we were excellent tenants: we invested about $2,000 of our own money into improvements, maintained the property well, and treated it like our own. When we moved out, we made a strong effort to leave the home in great condition. We deep cleaned, patched walls, had carpets professionally cleaned, and even hired an additional cleaning service. Was it perfect? No--but it was in FAR better condition than when we moved in, especially considering normal wear and tear over seven years. The move-out process is where things went wrong. Communication from PMI was poor, only one of the parties involved received move-out instructions, I personally never got anything. Apparently, they require keys to be hand-delivered to their office in Gilbert--over an hour each way from the home in NW Glendale. This seems like a ridiculous request being that most people have jobs and PMI only seems to be open during business hours M-Th. However, had I known, I would have figured it out. We vacated the home on time, left the keys inside, and secured the property. The following morning, I received a call from Amanda, who was rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. Without even getting any background information, she immediately began threatened legal action if the keys were not hand-delivered that same day, which was not feasible due to my work schedule. I promptly paid to have the keys delivered in overnight mail, and they arrived within 48 hours (I missed the cutoff for next-day delivery). Despite this, PMI escalated the situation to an attorney, who filed an eviction notice--even though we had already fully moved out on time. They then deducted attorney fees directly from our security deposit, leaving us no opportunity to dispute the charges. This seems unjustified and criminal to me. There was no effort on Amanda's part to try and fully understand the situation or amend it in an amicable way. She went straight to aggression and legal threats. Overall, we were responsible, long-term tenants who fulfilled our obligations to the best of our knowledge, only to be treated very poorly during move-out with unjustified additional fees. If you are a property owner considering PMI PHX Gateway or looking to rent a property, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

United Brokers Group... The Culture!, The People!, The Energy!…read more I look forward to my visits to United Brokers Group!. I leave there in such a great mood, re-vitalized, re-energized, ready for any thing the market can toss my way. The agents are so upbeat!, they are always willing to share their time, ideas and professionalism with others. When you do business with an agent from UBG you are actually doing business with the entire organization. If there is an issue, or complication with a deal they discuss it and work it out to the clients best interest. You have a Mastermind of Brokers / Realtors, hundreds of years of combined experience working for you. Because of a promotion, I don't get there as often as I have in the past. I miss that. I really do. Heidi Quigley has to be the most ethical, RESPA compliant broker that I have ever met!. Perhaps she may ask a lot of her agents, but they are grateful at the end of the day to know she has their back, and is preventing them from losing their livelihood. The Managing Broker Laurie McDonnell, and Managing Review Broker Tracey Mosegard are very sharp and assets to the organization. Every deal that goes through the United Brokers Group has 5-8 sets of eyes carefully reading through it to ensure the client, agent, and brokerage are all protected. . The President Jeff Sutherlin... I need to find his source of energy! He puts in a full day of work (10+ hours); then has volunteer community, and church activities of 20+ hours a week and still has family time. How? I don't know but I am envious of that. Good afternoon Lee…read more... I just now was able to get to my mailbox and to my displeasure I saw the deposit check from you guys. I guess I am just shocked to see the amount. I'm not saying there shouldn't have been any money deducted, but I don't feel like we left the home in that horrible of shape. We were there for 3+ years. You hardly heard from us. We were good renters. We even paid rent each month in full amount even though we weren't working due to Covid. We had no issues with anything about the house or BCH. We cleaned the carpets yearly. We went above and beyond to keep the house our home. The reason we decided to leave is to downsize and to give my daughter a backyard. I feel like since we gave our 30 day notice, we weren't important to you at all. Our refrigerator went out on a Saturday, sent a maintenance issue that night, and did not get a response til Monday afternoon. Then finally someone came out on Wednesday stating we need a new fridge ( like no crap). I feel like we weren't a priority and getting us a fridge was not a priority to you at all. I feel like you just shrugged it off because we were leaving. We also lost $250 of food because of your lack of urgency. I don't feel like as renters or people we deserved to be treated that way. To be honest this has been eating at me for awhile now. Yes..... seeing the amount of refund was a shock to me and the amount provoked me to write this email, but as I am writing this, I am more pissed off about how we were treated at the end of the month than anything else. Better Choice Homes will never be seen to me as a good company in my eyes. This company we rent from now is far more superior than you all are. Sincerely, Mark Gottschalk and Mindee Lee *** We will make sure anyone we know would never use this company to rent from.

Despite having owned and sold two homes prior, we didn't really know where to start with a new construction and we relied heavily on their expertise and advice to get us started and through the process with our builder. I truly believe we had a relatively smooth build due to Mark and Mickie's presence with the builder project managers and sales office. We had so many questions during the build process and both Mark and Mickie were able to answer them quickly and effectively. Their skill also helped us make better informed choices that will ultimately provide us a higher return on our investment. Without the Newman's, I fear we would have not allocated our money optimally towards options and possibly overspent in the wrong areas. Mickie's eye for design, general cost of upgrades and knowledge of what sells a home helped us make the overwhelming fast-paced two-day design center appointments much easier and cost-effective. After our pre-drywall inspection, we had a serious concern brought to our attention and Mark was persistent in getting the matter addressed by the project managers and was able to reach a resolution to ensure our safety. I would never want to build a home without realtor help. There were many instances throughout the process where we wondered, "Is this normal?" and Mark and Mickie were both right there to tell us yes or no, and if no, they followed up on our behalf, which really saved our sanity. We are so thankful we had this honest, hardworking and personable team on our side.

From start to finish, Mark went so far above and beyond! Mark was referred to us by family, and now we understand why everyone raves about him. He combines deep market knowledge with genuine care and integrity. Buying your first home can be overwhelming, especially doing it from out of state, but Mark made the process seamless. He was proactive with updates, incredibly responsive to every question (no matter how small), and always ten steps ahead in anticipating what we might need. What really stood out was how much Mark truly advocates for his clients. He didn't just help us find a house -- he guided us through inspections, offered honest advice at every decision point, and connected us with trusted local resources. His professionalism is top‑tier, but he also has such a warm, personal touch that made us feel supported and confident every step of the way.
