Cautionary Review - Please Read Before Visiting…read more I had a concerning experience with Millennium Auto Care in Brentwood, and I feel it's important to share for the benefit of others in the community. In September 2025, I was steered to this shop by a AAA-contracted tow truck driver who strongly recommended it over a AAA-approved facility. I later realized this may have been a referral with personal incentives -- a red flag in any service industry. The shop diagnosed my car and quoted nearly $1,200 in repairs, demanded cash only, and refused to take a credit card for the diagnostic fee. That alone raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. This wasn't my first bad experience with Millennium. Back in 2021, the same technician exposed wiring and suggested vague electrical issues that felt like a setup for unnecessary diagnostics. I recently discovered that Millennium Auto Care was formally accused by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) in 2018 for violations including: Charging for parts not replaced Performing unauthorized repairs Failing to return replaced parts (Source: BAR Accusation Document) This is public record and speaks to a pattern of behavior that matches what I experienced. I've since taken my car to a AAA-approved shop that was transparent, professional, and backed by warranty. I'm sharing this to help others avoid being misled. Always verify shop credentials, check BAR licensing, and don't let tow drivers decide where your car goes -- especially if the shop isn't AAA-approved. Would have given them no star rating but minimum is 1 star to even get a review posted.

We brought it to Terry for a ceramic coating and he went above and beyond. We hadn't noticed any issues during our walk-around but within the first hour of working on the car, Terry found some problems the Dealership had hidden from us. He worked on these and resolved them to the point they are hardly noticeable. Actually, he notices them, I don't. It's a mirror finish. He provides professional, personalized and meticulous workmanship. He is a certified detailer and takes continued education classes for this, not just buffing your vehicle with McGuires. If you're looking to detail your vehicle, whatever it is, from someone who is more than capable, I highly recommend him. Thanks Terry! @t4detailing
