I called in and spoke to Eric to get a quote for tinting the front and rear windows of my new model 3. Although the pricing seemed more than what I wanted/expected to spend he was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining why the pricing reflected the work needed to tint a Tesla specifically CORRECTLY since the rear windows are so large compared to other cars. I wanted someone trustworthy and after some research I realized his pricing was reasonable especially since a family member of mine paid more than what Eric quoted me and his 2020 model 3 has already started bubbling! Eric was able to book me the following week based on my availability and I was the only one scheduled for that day which I appreciate because you can tell he took the time to perfect my windows! He sent me a video and pictures of the car before pick up and even stayed an additional hour past closing to wait for me to pick up the car. When I arrived he showed me pictures of the whole process that was done. I'm hella happy I took my car to this shop. Chri came to my home to apply window film to a 48" × 57 1/2" glass partition and a 13¾" × 79" door…read moreglass. After the installation, I noticed that part of the film's edge on the larger panel was uneven. He told me this was unavoidable because the panel was longer than his cutting equipment could accommodate. He then used a ruler to trim another strip off the edge, but it was still uneven. He said that no one would get close enough to examine the film's edges and that, as long as it looked straight from a distance, it was fine. That comment made me uncomfortable. I paid him $400 expecting professional service. This is my home, and whether I look at something up close or from a distance is my choice. His responsibility is to deliver professional workmanship, rather than tell me how I should view something in my own home when I raise a concern about the quality of his work. He said there was nothing more he could do that day and left. Afterward, I discovered a large puddle of water on the floor beneath the glass. He had finished the job without properly cleaning up. After he left, I carefully inspected the installation--even though he had told me that no one would examine a glass panel closely. I found that the cuts around the glass mounting brackets were quite imprecise, and there were numerous bubbles. (But he did mention that any bubbles would disappear completely within a few weeks.)
