The atmosphere was calm, even though some customers came in and were too loud. The only thing I would criticize was the style of the chair wasn't comfortable for me but that was just a personal difference not a service concern.

When I brought it to the manager's attention, she acknowledged the issue and the seriousness of the mistake but was unable to continue the conversation due to a language barrier. I've been to other massage places around Chinatown, so I was expecting the "curtain separates the…read morebeds" and the "towel on top of clothes massage". For the record - those are amazing too. This isn't a Park Ave spa - it's a $40 Chinatown massage. Because with my past experience with Chinatown massages, I was surprised they wanted me to take off everything but my panties. The guy who massaged me was very professional. Used baby oil on my whole body, and some icy hot on my stubborn neck and shoulder area. His English was really good too. I have to say that I really enjoyed knowing when my massage was coming to an end. He went and got a hot towels (which felt great with the 34* temperature outside) to help take off the baby oil. When the massage started they had piano music playing in the background. And the song you can never forget, titanic was playing when the massage started. And replayed while he was getting to the end if my massage. So the entire song list played, and more. It was great! The fact that I was in a private (compared to what I'm used to in Chinatown, it was very private!) I was already impressed. Yes I would go back. $40 for 60 minutes?? Not shabby at all!

I came here for a full body massage…read more The technique was alright, it felt good while it was occurring, but I don't think it loosened me up. I've had massages that made me feel like jello afterwards but this was not one of them. The rooms are separated by curtains. They do not try to keep a spa like ambiance here because the front desk person was talking so loud. I was also a bit peeved by the fact that she kept coming in to ask the masseuse how many more minutes every few minutes or so because of a potential client. They use baby oil here and when I got home, I had the biggest allergic reaction and was super itchy for the next day or so. Probably would not return.

It's not the fanciest but it's clean and the women who work there play no games! I love that they adjust instantly when you tell them to be gentle in certain areas and firmer in others. Got a 30 minute massage. Other comments about hospital bed setting, all agree. I mean, this place is very cheap, wasn't expecting much. What i didn't expect was how there was this hierarchy, I paid to X, who then assigned Y, I get massage, come back and pay X. I don't know how to explain, I know that's how one does it normally at a spa, but in a place this small, it gave me a vibe of 1) these ppl really did not want to be work there, and 2) there wasn't a lot for them to say about working there. I'm not quite sure how to put it in words, but definitely not some place I'm going again. I'll pay a few more bucks for nearby massage places.

This is not a spa where you hang out, relax, and enjoy the ambiance. You are not here for vibes. You are here because your feet hurt. And for that, it is perfect. You can walk in without an appointment, which is what we did every time, but you can also make an appointment if you want. We ended up coming here every single evening during our trip because after walking all day, nothing sounded better than a 30, 45, or 60 minute foot massage. It became our nightly routine. The staff was great. Everyone was friendly, professional, and consistent. The place was clean every time we went, and they offered water, which was appreciated. They were efficient, kind, and clearly experienced, especially considering how busy this place gets. I found this spot on TikTok, and yes, it is popular for a reason. Just know what you are getting. This is not a leisurely spa experience where you linger and unwind in a plush robe. This is a straightforward, affordable, effective foot massage that does exactly what it promises. If you are visiting NYC, doing a ton of walking, and want a reliable place to reset your feet at the end of the day, I would absolutely recommend it. We loved it and would go back without hesitation.
