The problem wasn't the two days, because I had read Mark and his team's reviews online and saw how quick they can turn a dress over. The problem was me. I couldn't physically bring myself to meet with Mark because I was deep in the thick of planning a party for 350 attendees, the same party I needed the dress for. Mark went above and beyond to ensure that I got the alterations I needed by the time I needed it for. He worked with me from the jump. Although not the most ideal situation, we sorted it out so that my friend dropped the dress off for me after which Mark FaceTimed me to discuss in detail what I needed. Mark, being the knowledgeable and experienced tailor he is, was able to take out the dress without me even being there to try it on for him. It fit PERFECTLY. I like her original, ironic sense of humor--it's sharp without trying too hard. She doesn't spare me or herself. Always on time too, but if I say I've got something important for tomorrow, she somehow has it ready for me in the morning. I feel like Alpians garment care never treat clients honest, they told me talk to other person and repeat the problem again agin again, otherwise they threaten me talk to no one, because when the problem happens, they push question back to other person and threaten client no one will pick my phone call- THATS EXTREMELY RUDE AND WRONG ATTITUDE!!! After that they hidden and never answer the phone. During last Phone call with Alpian's for negotiation the details for set up an exactly return date about my missing dry clean associate items, however, they just randomly told me I don't know - could be 1day or a week or forever, HANG UP THE PHONE CALL AND NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE CALL!! The second time I wore it was to a sweaty summer roof party so you can imagine what it looked like when I pulled it out of its garment bag eight months later. Dirty. Yellowed. Blood stains (what the ???) I was crestfallen. Given that I was not going to surrender this dress- to date it cost $600 per wear, yikes!- I needed to find a drycleaner that was up for the challenge. I did some research and found Alpian's...I believe it has been rated best dry cleaner in the city before. I arrive, show them the dress and received a very skeptical response as to whether anything could be done. They agreed to try. I called and checked in a week later and they said they were still working on it. When I finally picked it up after another week, I was completely shocked and delighted: it looked better than the day I bought it. Any other cleaner could have ruined such a delicate garment, but Alpian's made it prettier. I would have paid even more than they charged to clean it, simply for making such an expensive garment wearable again.
