    Grubhub pricing

Just moved to the area and my wife and I were craving some Chinese food and this place was recommended by a friend. Ordered some food through Grubhub and immediately thought it was overpriced but I had a promo code so figured whatever. Got our food and snagged a take out menu on the way out. When I got home, I compared our order with the take out menu and immediately noticed that everything was higher priced on Grubhub and I paid about $7 more than I would've ordering through the restaurant directly. I don't know if that is the restaurants fault or Grubhub's but definitely disappointed in the inconsistency of pricing. The food was mediocre and bland. Crab Rangoon barely had any stuffing. Nothing was the correct color or texture including the rice and lo mein. Will not be ordering from again.

    Oily broccoli

I order from heee because it's in the plaza where I work. But this is ridiculous amounts of oil. They use too much oil in everything. It's gross.

Tasty Pad Thai on the right on the left a disappointing mound of Onions (a non Pad Thai necessity)

Today I was battling a cold and wanted Wonton soup and shrimp pad Thai. (With hopes of having some lunch left overs for dinner.) I ordered using Grub Hub and the delivery took over an hour and a half so that was quite disappointing. They gave me 2 free cans of ginger ale for my trouble. Ok now the food. The soup was good albeit luke warm and the Pad Thai (I usually am against getting Thai from a place that does Chinese and Thai) however it was quite tasty...but it had onions! I've been told previously by the staff at a different reputable Thai restaurant that Pad Thai is NOT supposed to have onions. This had tons. I'm surprised they got the general taste so spot on but didn't know Not to use onions. This is the best for Asian in this area so I would give them another chance but I had to review based on onion-gate.

Maki combo but replaced tuna with salmon

Sushi was delicious, I always get the maki combo. General tso is good but seems different sometimes.

I ordered pad Thai and it just was not flavored. It was made with small baby shrimp. That was unfortunate.

Ordered sushi delivery, which was disappointing to say the least! Sushi barely had any fish and was so soggy from all the cucumber!

Out of all of my visits, my favorite is the weekend brunch menu. There are so many yummy things to choose from like the breakfast burrito, the banana Forester French toast, the various of Benedict's including crab, and there were a bunch of various breakfast sandwiches, but the most menu appealing one that I liked is the pork roll. On my last trip I wound getting a chicken brie apples bacon on brioche bread. It was a special of the day. From the moment I bid into it, I knew I would love it for the savoriness, the crisp and sweet tasting bread. There was a side of potatoes... Very nicely seasoned and the perfect crunch to them. On my last visit, it was a total of 10 people in our group and the customer service was great. We were all able to pay with separate checks... Always a perk. The waiter was super super friendly and kept our coffee refills going. Inside it is busy which could lead away from the quiet ambience, but I didn't mind it at all.

Former home vibe, i was one of the earliest weekday diners. Since it a solo dinner, I opted for a few sides: Kimchi rice Cucumber salad Brussel sprouts (no meat or butter) The cucumber salad was so good, I ordered a second portion!! The tofu burnt ends and bbq jack fruit sounded so intriguing that I almost begged the kind server to ask the chef if they could serve a side portion. Otherwise the bbq is served in pound increments. For my lucky tummy, they obliged and wow those are both delicious vegan options! Maybe next time, i will visit here earlier during my trip to be able to take home leftovers. Booth was cozy and love that water bottle to refill my glass is on my table which sounds weird but I drink alot of water! Small place , would recommend reservations for weekend dining. Parking lot was limited too. Enjoy!

I'd love to return to pick up fresh fish as well as the fish sandwich which seems popular. Also tried the hush puppies. They were ok. If the weather is better, a pocket park offers outside tables steps from the door. An outgoing young man was our cashier, and then busied himself preparing for closing when we came in late on a Saturday. I ordered a sauteed flounder fish platter which came with simple mixed vegetables and coleslaw. The fish was so moist and tender and swimming in a mildly seasoned lovely broth. The veggies were seasoned and buttery, simple and delicious . The cole slaw was homemade but unremarkable. $8.99 for this healthy meal. Sign me up! Spouse ordered the soft flour shell, fried shrimp tacos and boy were they huge! He asked for the slaw on the side so it wouldn't make the tacos soggy, and got two full-sized side orders of coleslaw with his two tacos. For $5 each. No frills just good food.
