Blue is a damn, damn good place to go. The vegan options are wide and varied (Hello full vegan…read moremenu), and most importantly - good. It is a bit pricey as it is a downtown Naperville location, but it fits for a lot of family activities that tend to match what I do: friends in Bartlett, swimming events nearby, etc. They have two(!) nice outdoor seating areas in addition to lots of space inside - making this a great consideration for summer. I've been here at least 2 if not 3 times now, and I will be coming again. Happy hour menu during Happy hour (which I believe is Sunday) is well worth it. I found my photos for both days, and added them. I do appreciate they have the qr code stuff for paying at the table as well. I'll write more and update the next time I visit, but Blue *is* a good place to go. A good, vegan friendly place to go in specific.

When I go out with my infant I usually bring a stroller. Places have been hit or miss when I bring it in, but thankfully Blue Sushi Sake Grill had no issues with it. They placed my group in a spot where no one would be reaching over or around my baby. I greatly appreciated this! The options for happy hour are large, probably the best happy hour menu I've seen, EVER. The deals included drinks and food. I tried the white peach daiquiri and it was refreshing. It was a bit on the artificial side but overall I really liked it. It comes with boba which I found super fun for this drink. For food we tried the calamari and 4 different rolls. I don't normally like fried calamari but from Blue I LOOOOVED it. It was crispy, tasty and also comes with veggies. All the rolls were delicious too. A friend suggested we try the cowgirl roll and surprisingly it was so good! Reminded me of a cheeseburger in sushi form, super fun! This is a spot I see myself being frequent and recommending to others.

They have all sorts of neat decorations, I couldn't stop taking pictures. We had reservations for a party of 5, although it was not needed. The place wasn't crowded at all. I wasn't a big fan of their drink options. Instead of sprite they have starry, but the food more than makes up for it. This was my first time dinning here, so I wasn't aware of how huge the portions were. I got the crab Rangoon which I found to be very tasty, I got the sweet potato rolls. Got the most part they were good but some pieces I thought were slightly overcooked. For my entree I got the steak hibachi and it included fried rice, miso soup, and a small side salad. I don't know what type of dressing they put on the salad but it was delicious. Our hibachi chef was pretty funny. He did all his cool tricks. Our waitress was also very friendly. Right before our food was served I did notice my plate was dirty. It had left over food, which I circled in the picture. Not a big deal though since my waitress got me a new plate immediately. Overall, the portions were huge and the food was delicious. My steak was exceptionally tender. I wasn't expecting to enjoy the food here so much, but it's actually really good!

The landscaping is done regularly and the small pond with Koi fish was clean! We made a reservation for 6pm on a Saturday night. It was busy so we had to wait about 15 minutes. It wasn't bad, as we sat and talked amongst ourselves. The process to alert parties is great as you are handed a buzzer so that they aren't screaming your name over the crowd. Once we arrived at our table and settled. Our hostess, Wayan (Why-un) arrived asking for our drink orders. Wayan was attentive and sooooo kind. He handled the stress of a busy restaurant floor with ease. He was not afraid to clarify or correct an issue before it became an issue. He was wonderful! Our chef was soooo entertaining. He cooked well and made sure we felt as if his performance was just for us. He was great!! The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the floors were slippery. They felt greasy, and it made me fearful to walk on the floor. The food did not disappoint and neither did the service!

However, during my most recent visit, Matthew absolutely stood out and made the evening memorable. I'm a bit of a picky eater. I love ramen, but I prefer not to eat pork meat, even though I enjoy the broth. When I explained that to Matthew, he didn't make me feel awkward or difficult at all. Instead, he completely understood and even complimented me for being someone who knows exactly what they like. That kind of response made me feel comfortable immediately. What impressed me even more was his personality and professionalism. I'm naturally introverted and usually keep conversations short, but Matthew was so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine that he actually got me talking. He has a way of making guests feel welcome and valued without ever seeming forced or overbearing. He also did an amazing job recommending additional items. It never felt like a sales pitch. He was simply enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu, and his recommendations sounded so good that we happily ordered them. Everything was fantastic, and we're glad we took his suggestions. What started as a dinner outing became a full experience, and that's something that rarely happens anymore. Matthew is the kind of employee every restaurant hopes to have. If he's a manager, it shows. His customer service, communication skills, and ability to create a positive atmosphere are exceptional. Management should know they have someone truly special on their team because employees like Matthew are a huge reason customers keep coming back. Thank you, Matthew, for making a longtime customer's visit such a great one. We'll definitely be back!

I appreciate this since I brought my baby with me and was able to feed and hold her without any issues. The ramen?! Ohhhhhhhhh mah goooodnessssss!! I could eat it everyday for every meal. I had the hakata tonkatsu ramen and it is by far the best ramen I've had in IL. The pork was juicy and flavorful. It also is torched which gave it a smoked flavor. SO YUM! The broth was creamy and the perfect amount of salty. Noodles were perfection and took to the broth very well. The soft boiled egg and the other toppings that came with it were exactly what I would have wanted in it. This is definitely a place I will be frequent at and recommend to others.
