I tried it at the Hopscotch Festival, it was deliciousness personified and I desperately want to spread it through my family. Unfortunately, it also seems like something that is difficult to find (not a huge demand yet). It was here, in a 6-pack or a case. And they have a 4-pack of Somersby's Blackberry cider! It's like a little liquor heaven! But really, product blah blah blah. I'm going to recommend you go to this place because of the amazing service I received. The clerk actually said "hello" cheerfully when I walked in. I KNOW. Outside of Japanese restaurants, a cheerful "hello" seems to be dying out. Not only that but when I asked her about the Taiwan Beer (I wish I knew her name; she didn't have a tag on), she was pure helpfulness. When I decided on the case (I mentioned that I want to infect my family with its deliciousness, right?), she picked up the case for me and brought it to the counter. I've NEVER had a clerk do that for me. They're usually standing there, watching me fumble clumsily with it, juggling everything plus my purse. The transaction itself was quick and friendly and then she carried the case to my car. I had added a tip to the cup but at that point, I wish I had added much more. Liquor stores are a dime a dozen; good service is worth its weight in gold. Definitely recommend.

Then I met one of workers who helped me out and gave me a wealth of knowledge about everything from whiskey to sake. I wish I would've grabbed his name, but unfortunately I didn't. Although it is a bit pricier than the states, there were some pretty good sales going on. Plus the store is super organized and offers everything from local Canadian Staples like Molson Canadian beer, craft beer from local breweries, whiskey's and sake's and everything in between. Only downside is a bit lacking on the mixers. Highly recommend coming here.

It has been a few times when I am wandering through the store looking for a gift. Today, I was probably one minute in the store when Francis approached me to ask if I needed help. He had a paper in his hand and I knew he was in the middle of something. Regardless, he answer my question about a wine for my boss and made a recommendation. Disappointed, I mentioned that unfortunately the wine was sold out. He ask me if I could wait a couple of minutes while he was going to get three bottles of his recommendation that had jut arrived. I mean, this is the definition of goin above and beyond. In the mean time Angelo, another staff that happened to be restocking the BC wines was also helping me. I want to say this is the best liquor store with the most helpful, kind, and knowledgable staff. I then asked Jerry, at the cashier if it was possible to speak with the Supervisor. Jerry very kindly called the supervisor and took me to her. Candy, was the Supervisor in turn and she was so appreciative for the acknowledgement I expressed about the unparalleled service at this store. Similar prices with most other liquor stores and great service and attitude. Very clean and organized. They do cash return for recycled bottle that are bought as their store like some others ones too. They carry my favourite brand's sparkling sake and a few good prosecco and one of my top choices are Lamarca. Their beers have a lot of unique and interesting labels and package designs. The have a few very nice strong and bitter beers as well. Lots of parking spaces and a safe area and bus stops at walking distance.
