They have hooch. They have booze. They are open late. Okay, they tick those boxes…read more But they have a tip option on their machines... And even though they provide zero added service, the staff give you attitude when you don't provide a substantial tip every single time. Consistently. If I provide a tip based on their % options, the staff are chatty and gracious. If I give a tip of a dollar or less, I feel like I get shunned. If I don't provide a tip at all, I get nonverbal communication and a glaring side eye. Just because their interac machines are part of the pub system, doesn't mean they are entitled to dolla dolla bills tossed at them. If they were helpful, I'd totally oblige. But since they sit there doing nothing and expect it.... Nah....
