Unlike last year, I had daughter and her 'wheels' to enable me to catch what I wanted, and then have some quick & easy transport home with the goods this time!! Vodka, Canadian whiskey, dark rum, scotch, and an a bottle of Argentinian 'malbec' wine being featured (I much-enjoy a decent malbec, and could not pass on catching this one for a try). A good mix of spirits to put away in the 'cabinet' for the days ahead.

The cashier I had seemed absolutely miserable, no chatter, no asking if I would like a bag for the 4 bottles I had purchased (which you would think would be a no brainer), no smile, no eye contact throughout the entire checkout. I had to ask for a bag and at the end of the transaction and there of course was no have a nice day at the end. She definitely stayed the course at being absolutely useless at any type of customer service throughout the entire experience. Customer service isn't hard but the gal I unfortunately got stuck with had NO CONCEPT of what it meant. The manager of that store should be embarrassed to have someone like that dealing with people.

I prefer not to have a series of strangers in private cars deliver my wines. Uber doesn't have trolleys and perhaps personel that can handle heavy cartons. I find the move to using a car delivery service unacceptable. Also, when to speak to the store agent who told me that I am going "on and on about it" , doesn't fare well with me. My grocery store delivers wines to me that are even cheaper and delivery cost is included. Otherwise I have absoutely adored Everything Wine did before, therefore, I am hoping they return to professional delivery companies. As to the person making such a comment to customers, "no, no, not nice".

There was plenty of parking which was nice even though it was pretty crowded and busy in the strip mall. They carried a variety different types of wine from around the world as well as some local unique wines and liquors. I was able to find some good stuff. They have a recycling area in the back, security guards watching so no one runs off stealing stuff. Parking is pretty good here, as you have the whole of the underground on the Safeway side to park, and walk a few steps and you are in here. Interesting design, as this is an older building, when you enter it's a regular door, with a handicap button, but when you leave, there is a big sliding door that goes sideways (so they must know people leave with shopping carts worth of booze). A good enough selection in terms of countries and regions for wine, as I said... your not getting signature store selection, but regular government prices. The big names, they got em, the smaller ones.. not so much. Considering the location of this one (hidden, a little) at least there is an option here. Similar prices with most other liquor stores and great service and attitude. Very clean and organized. They do cash return for recycled bottle that are bought as their store like some others ones too. They carry my favourite brand's sparkling sake and a few good prosecco and one of my top choices are Lamarca. Their beers have a lot of unique and interesting labels and package designs. The have a few very nice strong and bitter beers as well. Lots of parking spaces and a safe area and bus stops at walking distance.
