Not much population out here and as a "typical Easterner" I think that there's always a gas station on the next corner. Here's a clue: THERE ISN'T. The next fuel station in one way is 70 miles and 34 miles in the other. Yeah, that's a long way to go. Rome Station saved me an embarrassing situation and the fuel pump area is apparently open 24 hours. Hooray because when I rolled in at 8:15 pm, there was no one around and the restaurant was closed. My credit card was accepted and I put $50 in there. It's not the cheapest gas but it's sure cheaper than California and not as cheap as Idaho. So yeah, make sure you have enough gas when you pass through here because you're going to find no cellular signal in some places and that's not good. Rather than addressing the behavior or attempting to calm the situation down, the cashier decided to argue with me instead. Whether busy or slow they are always hustling getting customers through. I also like the fact they pretty much hand wash your car prior to even going through the car wash. I have brought all my vehicles here and always leave here pleased. Plus they have tons of vacuums available and something I really love are the fresh clean towels to get off those remaining water spots. If it was just for the car wash this would be at least a 4-5 star. 2nd- The retail portion while always neat clean and orderly. The blaring death metal music or even turned down is a total turn off. Yesterday as an example same death metal music saying who knows what but could easily make out the offensive lyrics to me and the other customers. Now I don't care what you listen to on your own time but at least pick something neutral for the other customers. I can also tell you it must be a few employees because I mentioned it to someone a few times ago and they just rolled their eyes saying can't make everyone happy. This wasn't meant for me it was for I believe the other co-worker working that day. I wouldn't think the owners or manger would put up with that while they are around. This place is just way to convenient for me to pass up and the fact I only pretty use their car wash facilities and don't have to deal with the death metal music will keep me coming back.
