It was said to be the oldest and best pub in Fort Worth so that sealed the deal. Its a large venue with tons of seating and a nice long bar. Also not conducive to a dive. Anyway, awhile back I finally stopped in here on one of my world tours of "weekend, daytime, riding" trips. Service was good, staff was nice, had a good crowd and everyone was having a good time, friendly. Food trailer out back. Not a lot more to say, but will be back.

Nonetheless, we were able to find some seats at the bar towards the back. i've never had Guinness before so that was the obvious choice. I couldn't have asked for a better place first pint. It was poured to perfection. Deep black body with an appropriate amount of a creamy head at the top. Smooth, creamy, balanced. I'm not too much of a beer drinker but it was tasteful mix of roasted barley and chocolate in terms of flavor. If I'm ever in the mood for another pint of Guiness I would definitely come back here.

I ordered an amaretto sour & he had a corona, which he said if he would have known was going to come in a can he would have ordered a mixed drink. LOL . I loved the swing & the coziness of the porch but after 10 the music goes up loud out there & you have to start yelling at each other to talk. All in all though it's not so bad if you just want to chill on a porch & talk.

For most others, there's plenty of accessible parking and it's kinda tucked away in it's own lot. The burger offered was the "Our Taphouse" - a dry ranch seasoned beef patty with shredded cheese and topped with carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon jam. The burger was definitely good. It's messy since there are some more toppings prone to falling out. I will say that in terms of taste, it was a bit too sweet for my preference. I think it was the combination of carmelized onions and bacon jam that made it too much for me that it overwhelmed the savoriness that I'd prefer to be the main flavor with the burger. This time I didn't dine in personally but I will say that the place looks like it has a nice vibe to it, especially outside. It looks like there's plenty of seating with an area for musicians to perform. I'm looking forward to coming back one day and maybe watching a game and getting a drink.

I'll be going back to try something else off the menu, because the vibe alone is worth another visit.

First stop of the night and honestly wish we would've just left right away…read more The bartender with locs had a really bad attitude from the jump. No greeting, no eye contact, just came off annoyed that we were even there. When we tried to order, she was already snapping at us and then started cussing at our group. It wasn't just us either, she was talking like that to other people around the bar too. It made the whole vibe uncomfortable. We tried to play pool and didn't realize she was holding the white cue ball. We moved the table a little thinking it was fine and she immediately shut it down and said we couldn't play at all instead of just explaining it. Felt like an overreaction. Then I asked for a bucket of beer and she said aggressively she'd give me six beers but not a bucket... for no real reason. At that point it just felt like she didn't want to serve us at all. Not sure what she has going on, but that kind of service is not it. Definitely not a good look for the bar. I wouldn't come back and I'd rather spend my money somewhere else
