Easily one of my favorite places in Western Mass. for "sports-stuff"…read more I've been shopping here since like 1989-90. I make my way there at the start of every baseball season to pick up a crisp Yankee fitted hat. (They were one of the first...and only spots to offer authentic MLB on-field hats) Great selection of sneakers: Jordans. Nike. Adidas. New Balance. Converse. Reebok. Lots of classic styles too. A MAJOR selection of great kids sneakers too. I've also purchased most of my Timberland boots here. Great selection of styles and colors. They also are the go to spot for fan gear. Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, etc. Great selection of jerseys and other authentic gear. I got my "Belichick hoodie" here. Oh and I forgot to mention the most important thing! The service! Great family run business. Support the local independent stores folks!

Over the years, they have never disappointed me and I absolutely love going here for all of sporting needs when possible. They have cleats, custom team wear, and equipment for any sport you can imagine. If they don't have it then they can order it for you. The price is MUCH cheaper than large chains. I prefer them over larger retail sporting good stores because of the personal attention and care that the owner put into. In addition, it is always nice to support small businesses whenever possible. There's a small parking space on the side near Walgreens. Go give them a try, they won't disappoint you.

Adventure gear or not, Kenco is the place to shop for fly fishing, boating, hunting, camping and so…read moremany other supplies. But if you haven't experienced those outdoor adventures, Kenco is way more than that. When we've vacationed in the Catskills throughout the seasons and have accidentally forgotten to pack either my shorts, winter gloves, rain boots or anything else, Kenco, slightly off Rt 28 in Kingston, has been the place to come to for those. Kenco is a privately-owned and independent company staying true to their number one priority-provide customers with the highest quality products- that can handle any weather condition up here in the Catskills. The store is massive with women's clothing on one side, men's on another- then their other departments follow. And yes, prices are steep- but these folks carefully select their products and only want to sell reliable gear/clothing that will last for years to come. My husband especially loves their 100% thick cotton, long sleeve pull-on shirts he uses when it's frigid- and he's had them for a while now and still look good as when I first purchased them. Now that we own a home in the Catskills, this is where we come for clothes that are more neutral- with an almost minimalist feel. But this is also the place to make all your outdoor dreams come true. .
