We spent a week at the Hyatt and frequented the bar quite often. Always interesting conversation to be had with the bartender! She can mix up any sweet treat for you. I did find the drinks to be on the weaker side. If you do not drink often or much, you may think otherwise. They are made with premade mixers as well. I'm a bit of a cocktail snob so I tried to steer clear of most of the menu drinks due to the high sugar content and mixers. A must visit if you are in the keys, the food is amazing and the service is fast. The ambiance is great with the boat docks to pull into and grab a bite to eat after fishing. The bar tender is very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. She even goes around the pool area and ask if she can be of any help with ordering food or drinks. The bang bang shrimp was insane! I could have ate it until i threw up. The mahi mahi sandwich was really good as well.

We just went for drinks. They have about 5 different types of mojitos on the menu but didn't have any mint. Got something she made up for us but there weren't great and pretty expensive. Everyone seems to rave bout the service but we didn't get that. Maybe Suzie was having a bad day. Loved sitting on the dock. Good place for people at the pool at the Hyatt Beach Club to get food and drinks, but anyone could go there - you'd just have to find it. read more

This was a cute little place on the water. Our bartender, Suzzie Q, was so friendly! We sipped on her specialty, Dirty Bunny. Yum!! I had mine with tequila and my husband had his with vodka. I would go back just for the cocktails. The food was so-so. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which wasn't bad. It was light on the buffalo sauce. My husband has the fish tacos. No good! Also our lunches came with tortilla chips, but no salsa. When we asked for some salsa they said they didn't have any. Confused?!?! Overall, good scenery, service, and cocktails. Food surprised us - we had apps, basically, since it was mid afternoon, and we were headed later to dinner. Conch fritters were very good; chicken tenders are aces; caesar salad hit the spot. Food comes from a food truck. * Great cocktails, not THAT stingy on the alcohol. * Nice view with a cute little pier. * Pool and beach simulating sand lot are just meters away. (You might have to be a hotel customer to utilize.) * Food came out within 10 minutes. [Wild buffalo chicken wrap. I was in a hurry so I devoured it. This is actually Jim's ocean side now. We had gator bites and fish tacos, which were excellent. The gator bites were crunchy and served with a spicy sauce. The view is also nice and we had a lunch visitor who was awesome to see. My only complaint was the front desk girl was rude and condescending when I asked for a key to the restrooms. Awesome location on the sand overlooking the ocean at the Hyatt Beach House. A very relaxing and romantic (or party-like) setting, depending on your mood and group. The owner/bartender Jim and his sidekick Bo prepared some very tasty beverages for us throughout the week, including Bloody Marys (caution: these are powerful), fresh watermelon mojitos and fresh muddled pineapple mojitos (very tasty) and even some very impressive strawbery pineapple coladas (in a hollowed out pineapple) - yum. It's exactly what the name implies -- a tiki hut, with just 8 or so stools. It's about 4 miles from downtown Duval St., but an easy 20-30 minute bike ride or quick taxi ride away. This place is as advertised- tiki hut- Linda was great!!! On top of everything and the only time she EVER walked away was to put the food order in or pick it up a few feet away. Can't fix stupidity but it did not have anything to do w/ the bar or its servers. Linda was on point ALL WEEK. I can't stand ppl that want or expect to eat off a golden fork at a tiki hut on a pier!
