This is for the Store location nearest Kalahari water park. This map indicates another location. I (first) wrote this the day of the visit, I think it actually was Labor Day weekend 2020 Moderators felt my overly detailed description was somehow inaccurate. Today I'm re writing this. I first wrote an overly detailed narrative. I deleted it because it was too inclusive, and still failed to express the reason I wrote a poor review about a sand which vendor I otherwise have stellar memories of more often than not. That particular day was terrible. I'll state simply that the three workers were not Jimmy John's quality personnel I'd hope to ever run across in the future. Having the baby carrier was sort of an issue. They are an irritating fact of life, so bringing the kid I imagine sometime just has to be done. But it appeared this kid was the offspring of two of these workers and their bickering was evident. Slow. I'll simply state that 6 sandwiches should take 10-15 minutes. Tops. My purchase was nothing special regarding extras or complications. Aside from NO CONDIMENTS were specifically noted, at time of ordering. Extra lettuce on mine. We ordered full meals for them all and the total came in excess of $60. Seems a bit steep when given thought. Seems certainly much steeper when i returned to Devils Lake, 20 minute drive back, to find that MY sandwich was w/o extra lettuce AND NO MAYO/Mustard, and the plain turkey and cheese which were explicitly stated to be DRY, only Turkey and provolone. Being guilted by the computer, when paying with card, to add a tip, this so totally pisses me off. In a restaurant, waiters etc work FOR tips, paid minimum wage. They deserve tips and I pay them rarely less than 20%, unless the server is rock bottom. Fast food pays vastly more, and don't deserve tips. Yet I tipped these worthless overpaid impolite and quite apparently incompetent workers to do a terrible job. And as I carried my stuff out, I wasn't even offered a suitable bag. I literally had to get a grocery bag from my car, and make extra trips to carry 6 large sodas out. No cup carriers. This is WHY this location is the bottom of the Jimmy John's Corporate toilet in my view. Zero stars isn't an option. I hope this doesn't get flagged as being inaccurate or whatever was the reason my first writing was recently brought to my attention when the moderators opted to tell me I couldn't have received the terrible service I originally described. This time I hit the more important details I'd neglected previously. I'm a Yelp elite. For going on five years. I wrote too much, certainly. But I don't waste or mumble my words. read more

Wisconsin Dells, WI. I don't usually rate fast service or fast food restaurants unless they were really good or really bad. It's Jimmy John's, the food is standard subs and chips, no big deal from a culinary point of view. However, I am rating this restaurant for its service. I visited on Sunday, 11-12-23 at 1:15 p.m. I walked the door and was greeted by the counter person with a very friendly welcome and big smile. I felt like I truly mattered to her as a customer. She was very polite while taking my order and ensured its accuracy with my special requests. The two employees making the sandwiches were also very friendly. They were super fast and one made a joke apologizing for the "long wait." I think my entire time from order to walking out with the bag was less than 2 minutes! The workers here deserve praise for making my experience a good one and the 5 stars are only because of them. Not the food. Although the food wasn't bad either. read more

Beware of this place!! They do t have yellow mustard, only spicy Dijon & some other disgusting brown mustard with seeds in it, yuck!! And they call Jimmy special mustard or something. I have never known a sandwich shop that does NOT offer yellow mustard. My son ordered me a sandwich online, knows I do not like Dijon mustard, so he thought that Jimmy's special mustard was yellow. It was not! I called the store to complain to the manager Trevor, and he was arguing with me about the sandwich, he said he made it & yes it's the right kind; never offered an apology for the misunderstanding and was quite rude. I will not return to Jimmy Johns again. And I'll tell everybody I know not to go there too. If he would've taken five seconds to explain to me they do not offer yellow mustard, and maybe if he wasn't rude, I might reconsider. If I could give him minus stars I would. I ended up throwing the sandwich away because I thought that seedy mustard was disgusting, it was worse than Dijon mustard and I hate Dijon mustard. read more

This was my worst experience ever $30 for 2 subs then when they forget to put cheese on that you pay for you get an attitude and the guy that did the sandwich rewraps it and lets the sandwich hang out not caring but he did put it in a bag so I was able to scoop the stuff up and put back on the sandwich. Hello fellow yelpers, this review is for the Jimmy John's in Wisconsin Dells, I want to start saying that it's Jimmy John's they make the sandwiches quick and easy they are also consistent they taste the same every time but at this particular location and visit, the cashier was very moody and it was affecting her job we ordered a number 14 and a JJ Gargantuan and I ordered a medium Coke and she proceeded to basically slap the cup on the counter and then I paid her and then that she was giving my change back she kinda tossed the change in my hand is very unprofessional and just kind of like she was in a rush to go somewhere but I don't know what her problem is but she definitely needs to have it "adjusted" by upper management to basically put her in her place because after all she is just a cashier. also the cashiers name was Monique. And the two stars are just because of the food.they lost three stars for the cashiers lack of professionalism because when you run a restaurant the first person that is going to be dealt with a customer, needs to be the friendliest. read more

I always stop here when traveling between Chicago and the Twin Cities. It's a nice midway point right next to a Starbucks with easy access to a gas station. Just exactly what you would expect from Jimmy John's with friendly staff and quality sandwiches. I can think of no reason to do anything but recommend them. read more

This location did not follow any CDC guidelines of wearing a mask while handling food. When I kindly asked the workers to wear a mask before making my sandwich, I received a nasty look and they were incredibly rude. I do not recommend this location whatsoever. read more

Forgive my delay in posting a review. I was at Jimmy John's this summer, as I was heading up to Minneapolis for a conference. I had never been to a Jimmy John's before, and my friend and I decided to stop. I have to eat gluten-free, and when the manager on staff heard that, she immediately told the girl to change her gloves and clean the surfaces. WOW. I was so impressed! NEVER have I seen such a considerate response, given with a smile and "don't worry, we are glad to accommodate!" The manager recommended the unwich (I believe that's what she called it!)....a salad wrapped sub. DELICIOUS!!!! Thank you all for making the BEST sub I have had in years!!! We were staying at the All Stal Value Inn on Broadway. 1.58 miles from Jimmy John's. Called for delivery. We are out of their delivery area. I asked how this was even possible. The manager told me their drivers only delivered up to the intersection where the Mobile gas station was "to avoid the traffic". If you're going to give me a reason, make it believable. You're out of heavy traffic well before the Mobile station. Broadway is dead after the Mobile station, and there are no restaurants in that area - making delivery an important service. Of course Jimmy Johns is Jimmy Johns. The food is always good, but I was thoroughly disappointed in the delivery issue and the service offered. read more

Who doesn't love jimmy johns? The two working at this shops were very helpful and nice and patient with me while I decided if I wanted tuna or beach club. Currently my fav part of jimmy johns, their alfalfa sprouts, are not on the menu because of a health food scare. JJ is currently producing their own sprouts and should be back on the menu soon read more

I was told I could not have my tomatoes or hot peppers (side/additional item) on the side of my sandwich which was for later at the hotel. The best part was when I was told it was company policy and that's why it could not be done. Complete lies as every other JJ's has honored my request. Stopped here on our way out to the lake for a day of kayaking. They open early enough to get a sandwich and head out for the day ( it was nice that Starbucks was right nest door so I could get my caffeine fix). The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was undecided on my sandwich choice and ask for a sample of the tuna which they served on a slice of cucumber. Nice touch. We ordered 25 slims for Sunday at 11:30. They were all ready when we picked up. Very efficient. The sandwiches were very good.

Terrible. I walked in 40 min before close and place was a mess. There was a mop behind the counter where my food was just made and trash all over. Staff was on the floor laughing and asking me stupid questions.,( HiGH AS KITE i assume) I through my pickup out as I will never go there again. read more
