I like it better than SeaFood City becuase it really seems that SC only focuses on Filipino cousine while Asahi offers varieties. The owners, which I haven't seen in a while were always polite and helpful and with their recent rearranging of things, they made the store easier to find things. I was a bit skeptical at first, but once I arrived and saw the owner roasting his own beans outside, my concerns were quickly put to rest. Overall, the coffee shop is great. The baristas are always friendly and helpful, and even though the place is often busy and packed, their customer service never falters. As for the drinks, I can only speak to their espresso and basic coffee, but in that area, they do not disappoint. While I don't think the roast is quite as good as Beacon, it is a very strong second in the area. Whenever I'm in Oxnard, I don't hesitate to stop by Dolce Vita for a great caffeinated drink.
