The #10

The sandwich was good and that's where it pretty much ends. The customer service or lack there of made the a bad experience. The guy at the register says let me know when you're ready, so when we start to order, he is playing with his phone and a girl who was behind the counter is staring at us while we are saying our order. I realize that she's, at the other register is taking our order, she literally didn't say anything to us to indicate she was taking our order. My wife wanted to add something to her sandwich while I was placing my order but said it was too late and the girl just sat there staring at us, no i can add that or anything! Finally our order was in and the only word I heard was do you a combo and that's it. Like I said before, the sandwiches are good but I won't be getting them from this place!

First time checking out this location, but it's been a while since we've eaten at a Jimmy John's. The guy at the register was friendly and helpful. Our sandwiches were made quickly and tasted good. We ordered the Toasted Ultimate Italian, the Country Club, the Turkey Tom, and the Club Lulu. The food was good, but nothing special. Also, there is seating, but it's very limited.

Jimmy John's off of N Durango Dr and El Capitan. I came to this Jimmy John's after having gone through a couple more within Centennial Hills area. I can honestly say that all Jimmy John's sandwiches are all created equal, no more and no less within the preparation of their sandwiches. The sandwiches are all straightforward with no fuss, no frills or any fancy seasonings. I usually order the Turkey Tom which comes with shredded lettuce, mayo, provolone and tomatoes. I will add a few more items like, more lettuce because that shredded lettuce, along with the thin white onions, topped off with oil and vinegar is the absolute bomb in my opinion. I also ordered their Beach Club which comes with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, provolone, avocado spread and cucumbers. This was disappointing because I didn't get any cucumbers and their avocado spread was very scarce. It was basically a Turkey Tom naked. The Jimmy John's at N. Durango is a small place, the space has 2 (4) seater's and 3 tall chairs facing the window. It's a cute place, but no space, probably better to take it to go. The people working there were all very nice. All the Jimmy John's I've ordered from to go makes good sandwiches. I like Jimmy John's even more when my order is correctly made. We'll try again next time. Respectfully.

Glad there's now a JJ nearby. I've ordered 3x since opening . Twice for pick up and once for delivery. Very pleased every time.

The star of the show should be turkey with cranberry sauce and stuffing BUT it was basically a stuffing sandwich with a side of turkey and cranberry sauce. You can get it cold as s regular Bobbie too. They have a good selection of cheesesteaks too, my favorite being the classic cheesesteak. Steak is really tender with a great flavor, and I love to get extra pickles just to add some extra kick. There's plenty of more traditional sandwich options too, and also some specialty items that are uniquely Capriotti's. This store is conveniently located on Osa Blanco just off Durango. It's a decent size store with plenty of seating, though I generally just do take out. Service can occasionally be a little slow here, but I've found it to always be friendly. If you haven't tried Capriotti's, and especially if you've never experienced the joy of a Hot Bobbie, you should definitely give it a go, in my opinion it's one of the better sandwich chains around.

On October 22, I ordered two Thanksgiving turkey subs to-go from this Firehouse Subs location. When I got home, I discovered they had mistakenly given us standard turkey subs instead. I called the store immediately. While they refused to deliver the correct order, they told me I could drive back to pick up the right sandwiches. However, upon my arrival, the employees completely changed their narrative. They aggressively blamed me for the error, claimed I hadn't paid for the correct items, and demanded additional money to fix their mistake. Because I had rushed out the door to correct the order, I had accidentally left my house without my phone, my debit card, or even my ID. I explicitly told them I would have gladly paid the difference but literally had no form of payment or identification on me. Instead of handling their own fulfillment error professionally, the staff became hostile, told me I "should pay attention," and another employee chimed in with unprompted remarks. When I asked for their names to report this behavior, they aggressively snapped that it was "none of my business" and told me, "Bye, you can leave now." Another female worker wanted to chime in saying, "The customer isn't always right." To make matters worse, when my husband calmly entered the store shortly after to request a full refund for the incorrect, poorly put-together sandwiches, the staff immediately escalated the situation. They shouted at him, claimed he was banned and trespassing simply for being associated with me, and ordered him out. The level of disrespect, combativeness, and toxic customer service at this location is entirely unacceptable. We will be contacting corporate management regarding the staff's behavior, which was completely caught on their store cameras. Avoid this location.

Chef's Special: Shrimp and Grits at Cooper's Kitchen and Tap…read more I'm expediting this review because, if you're lucky, you may still be able to get this week's special today at Cooper's Kitchen and Tap. If it sounds appealing, be sure to ask your server. Trust me, it's delicious! Let's take a little trip down memory lane for some perspective. Two of my duty stations were in the South, South Carolina and Georgia, and I spent an entire summer in New Orleans taking a summer school class. Needless to say, I've had my share of Southern food experiences. I've also spent quite a bit of time wandering the grits aisle at Piggly Wiggly, marveling at the seemingly endless variations of what you might think is a relatively simple food. Grits, made from coarsely ground corn or hominy, are a wonderfully versatile foundation for both savory and sweet preparations. Nutritionally, they provide carbohydrates, with some protein and fiber depending on the variety. Traditionally, grits are often served with a creamy consistency reminiscent of cream of wheat, a texture I've never particularly favored. But I discovered a little trick: refrigerate leftover grits, and they firm up beautifully. Slice them into rounds, fry them in butter, and you have something altogether different. That firmer texture is much more to my liking. Now, let's talk about last night's Shrimp and Grits. The simple menu description did this dish absolutely no justice. The shrimp were nestled in a delicious, creamy sauce infused with Andouille sausage and shredded leeks. Five perfectly cooked shrimp made their appearance, and the whole ensemble was presented atop a firm disk of grits, or possibly polenta. Whatever the base was, I was ecstatic! That firmer texture was exactly what I look for in my grits, providing a wonderful foundation for the rich, savory sauce. Each bite delivered an impressive combination of flavors, with the smoky character of the Andouille playing beautifully against the creamy sauce and tender shrimp. A little heat rounded things out, just enough to make my nose run ever so slightly. Personally, I love spicy food, so that little kick was an added bonus. The seasoning never struck me as overpowering; instead, it brought the dish to life. And judging by the empty bowls I spotted around the restaurant, I wasn't the only one who thoroughly enjoyed dinner. My fellow shrimp-and-grits diners appeared to have dispatched their meals with equal enthusiasm! For our wine pairing, we chose a 2024 Torbreck Woodcutter's Semillon from Australia's Barossa Valley. Its refreshing acidity and chill provided a lovely counterpoint to the richness of the creamy sauce, making it an excellent companion to the dish. That said, I suspect a crisp Sauvignon Blanc would also pair beautifully, offering a bright, citrusy contrast to the shrimp and smoky sausage. My highest praise goes to Chef Jose, who I understand is responsible for this wonderful creation, and to the entire team at Cooper's Kitchen and Tap. Thank you for the care, creativity, and hard work you put into delivering such excellent food and service. If this special is still available, do yourself a favor and order it! Ça, c'est du bon manger! That's some mighty fine eating!

This location…read morein particular, as close to my job and a few other stores that I sometimes need to gather some items from. I had realized that I hadn't had Port of Subs in a super long time so I decided to download the app. When I downloaded the app, there was a five dollar off coupon for my first purchase. Perfect! In this economy, I'm all about saving a couple of dollars when I can. I walked into Port of Subs and was greeted by two ladies that were ready to take my order. And that's when I fell in love. Erin was amazing! It had been my first time there in many many years and when I ordered my sandwich, she asked if I wanted it toasted. And I said no thank you. She kindly said can I suggest something? And I said sure. She said for this type of sandwich you definitely wanna get it toasted. And I said OK, let's toast it! She was not pushy, she was not rude, she was just informative and helpful. She was really chatty and friendly and professional and made my sandwich just right she made me feel welcomed and she was glad that I work so close so I could come back in order again from the store. Letting her know that I loved sandwiches she guaranteed me the other sandwich locations nearby could not compare, and I completely agreed! Today, September 1, I returned back to Port of Subs and Erin was there yet again! Happiest can be, quick and friendly, complemented me, wish me a early happy birthday and ask what I was going to do for my birthday. She completely just made my whole day and I've only met her twice! I told her that I loved my sandwich last week, and that it was so good that I had to come back for another one lol, she said I was thinking about you, and hoping you would like it! You don't meet very many people, nowadays, especially in the fast food industry, that have such a passion for people and are friendly. Working in hospitality myself, she is a true gym and this company is lucky to have her! I will be back!

It was still a good size sub, 5 inches. The whole thing cost $6.95 plus tax, so normal kids pricing. As for the service, it was fine. The staff was nice and they're working as fast as they could with the line line. I have no complaints about the service itself. Food wise, it was your normal sandwich place. Nothing amazing and nothing horrible. The lettuce was a little bit old old and had the different color with some brown but that's why I just opted to get something else like spinach, which seem to be fresher. And there was lots of free parking so that was not issue. This location is nice because there's a lot of different foods in this area so if you are with the large group, you all could eat different things and meet each other to eat outside or even in the different restaurants with different food.
