It's national PI day! Blaze Pizza was offering a PI deal of a buy one pizza get the second pizza for $3.14 (Pi!). My husband and I decided to get lunch from Blaze Pizza! This location is off of the 215/N Decatur. When we had arrived there around 10:50 A.M, there was already a line out the door! Once the restaurant opened up, everyone was able to go inside the restaurant. We didn't wait too long to place our order, around 10 minutes. Looking over Blaze Pizza's menu, there's a wide range of options for pizza and salads! I ended up getting a customized signature BBQ Pizza and my husband selected a build your own pizza. We also got a side of their new cinnamon bread! It was so busy inside the restaurant, but the team here are amazing! Everyone was fantastic and were super nice when assembling the order. My BBQ pizza included BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, bacon, and pineapple. My husband had a marina sauce, pepperoni, olives, red onions, and a few other meats. He also topped it with balsamic sauce after it was cooked! We had to wait a little bit longer for the cinnamon bread dough to cook. It was topped with cinnamon favor sprinkles and frosting. It tasted like the a crunchy French Toast, super yummy! My BBQ pizza was delicious! We brought the meal back home to eat since we live relatively close by! My BBQ pizza was loaded with chicken and bacon. There was just enough BBQ sauce on the pizza. The dough wasn't burnt either! It's been years since my last visit at Blaze Pizza. Blaze pizza is fantastic but this location needs to retrain half their staff on how to put toppings on a pizza. Should be common sense but when I ask for pepperoni and bacon putting 4 pieces of pepperoni followed by a pinch of bacon that covers at most one slice is quite disappointing. Of the 5 times I've gone here I've had this issue 3 times out of 5 servers across all the toppings. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my order. I ordered the 5 for $35 and added an extra tip. The cost came to a little over $50. I literally live right next door and the pizzas were cold, the dessert was one serving each. The driver had called and stated I didn't give a unit number which I certainly did. I love this concept! It's like a make your own pizza place that gives you a delicious wood fired pizza at the end. You can pick from a small selection of appetizers - we had the pesto garlic bread, and then either choose a recipe offered or choose your own toppings. A 2 topping pizza is about $10, and a handful of toppings are available for free. My partner had the chicken BBQ pizza and I made my own pizza with white sauce, ricotta, gorgonzola, and arugula. For 2 pizzas, the pesto garlic bread, and a large drink we spent just over $30, which I think is a fantastic deal. I will say the selection process could be a little clearer as to which toppings are free, but other than that the process was quick and simple and the pizzas only took about 15 minutes. 2nd time I've ordered from here and they mess up the pizza. Where is the black olives and Gorgonzola? Staff needs to pay attention to orders, details and when orders are suppose to be ready. Got there 10 minutes before my order and let them know I was there. They handed me the salad and told me the rest of my 5/$35 would be out in 5 minutes. Order was suppose to be ready 545, they never called my name after already knowing I was there. Finally I had to ask again and they told me it was just sitting there. Cost goes up and service goes down. I think I'd rather have dominos cheaper and atleast they get order right. read more

Very quick ordering and getting our food. Very simple furnishings but good food. We went with friends and everyone enjoyed their food.

The girl with the glasses who is tatted up is super nice and genuine. While making my pizza we had some small talk about thanksgiving. Sometimes you are pushed through the line when they are super busy, which is fine, but she took time out to have a nice conversation which I appreciated. Great customer service. They are usually really good. We have not been for a couple of months and they are off their game. We felt like we were annoying them when ordering our pizzas and took forever to pay. So sad to see this young people running a restaurant and they have no idea about food safety. Every time I go there you always notice your fingers are getting black from holding the pizza in your hands because something called an oven dust and this is carcinogenic and even they put the pizza in 2 or 3 minutes in the oven its always burn on the bottom and it mess up the taste of the pizza. read more

I honestly just start with a signature Meat Eater pizza (pepperoni, meatballs, red onion, mozzarella & red sauce) and proceed to go APE$HiT from there! I add just about everything my lil' heart desires! I've been know to add: *ovalini mozzarella *ricotta *grilled chicken *artichokes *black olives *cherry tomatoes *fresh basil *mushrooms *roasted red peppers Then when it's out of the oven, I finish it off with a heap (yep as much as I can keep asking for) of arugula! Nothing says pizza purist much more than that HA! With all that color, this is probably one of the healthier meals I'd have all week! The family and I have been to this Blaze location several times over the years. Located on Decatur just before the 215, it's in a pretty popular shopping center near target and hobby lobby and across from Sprouts. Its a stop we've often made when we're hungry either before or after finishing our shopping. Pretty reliable with decent prices it works since we have some vegetarians and some meat eaters. The pizzas are slightly bigger than a personal pizza, we always have some then and some leftover and we can get whatever each of us wants. An 11inch build your own pizza, with unlimited toppings is only a bit over $9 while most places charge per topping, I definitely appreciate that aspect. Only $7.50 for a two topping pizza, not too shabby. They have several different crust and cheese options, including some vegan ones to choose from. A decent spread of toppings, and sauces as well so you can mix it up if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new. Pesto pizza with a bbq sauce drizzle? Sure why not? Don't forget the ranch on the side! They also have salads, desserts, and breadsticks which I have yet to try but look pretty good. Overall a good spot when the fam wants pizza but we can't all decide on a flavor. Will be back! read more

This place was good at one time. Covid didn't help, nor has the great resignation of 2021. People make the difference and the staff here seems uninterested at best. The pizza is as good as you can create it, which leaves lots of options. Cooking it to perfection requires someone who cares. My pizza was over cooked with burnt edges. My pie maker did call it out, but I could not stand to inconvenience him to make another. It's 1130 am. They have been open for an hour and a half and the place is a mess. Remnants of food past can be found on the tables and floors. There is one employee who looks homeless. She is sleeping at one of the tables. I know she is an employee because she has been behind the counter multiple times as well as in the bathroom. She looks like death. I lost my appetite. To begin, the first person that started my order made a comment between his teeth to his coworker about my Artichoke pronunciation.
