Jimmy John's as a company has definitely stepped up their game lately. They have a revamped website, new products, and you can now also get any sandwich as a wrap. I have been wishing for that option for years! My biggest "complaint" with Jimmy John's has always been that I just get tired of eating the same thing. And they are really the best delivery game in town so I've eaten a lot of Jimmy John's over the ten years I have worked in this neighborhood. But now they have more options to choose from and more options for customization. I love the new potato salad option. I usually get a pickle for a nice low carb side, but the potato salad is pretty tempting. I consistently receive my order on time or early and it's correct. That's not the experience I have with other delivery services or restaurants so it's refreshing. Very strange encounter at this location. Went to pick up food after attending a conference. I walked in and was the only one in there. All 3 employees stood behind the counter and just stared at me. Like started for 30 seconds to a minute. Finally I said hello? And they all stepped forward at once. An employee came to the cash register and stood there with headphones in. I started talking and he said he couldn't hear me. He proceeded to take his headphones out and once again just looked at me. One of the worst Jimmy John's I have ever visited. I suppose they can't help the inconvenient location but they could do something about improving the surly, slow service. In addition, after taking their time with the order, they still got it wrong and couldn't be bothered to put my sandwich in a bag. They just plopped it on the counter and said "here!" Zero Stars, Was verbally insulted and physically threatened by a white male employee over a trivial newspaper misunderstanding. Could not get the hispanic sounding "manager" to understand that his employee should be immediately terminated. When arriving to the establishment found a group of guys and one lady who were workers all outside in a blue car doing drugs, when walking into the business i was greeted by the gentleman working the register while another man was cutting fresh meat prepping. Food itself was great but we won't order again due to the delivery driver, company I work for has a policy that if they charge for delivery you don't tip bc that company should be paying more to the driver, if they arnt they are just stealing extra money for no reason. The delivery driver through a fit bc if it even tho it's not up to us and then proceeds to call and test us throwing a fit about it. The food here is great. No complaints on taste. I frequently order on lunch breaks and will probably continue to do so. However, they are never "freaky fast". This Jimmy Johns is about 2 miles down the road, and it takes 30-45 minutes every time we order. It doesn't matter if it's 1 sandwich, or 5. I scored them at 1 star because their motto is fast delivery. I ordered a sub, chips, and drink at 2:00 pm for delivery. I order delivery often. The driver forgot my drink. Jimmy John's advertises "freaky fast" delivery so I started my stopwatch after I submitted the order from the iPhone app. I'm staying at a hotel so I went down to the lobby to wait. The delivery guy showed up with less than 6 minutes on the stopwatch! Truly amazing. Also, I'm trying to cut back because you can always be thinner, look better... So even though they are famous for their secret recipe french bread, I hesitantly ordered the wheat. It was just as great if not better. I will say they are quick. However, quality is just as important as speed. I even asked the guy when I grabbed the bag, "double meat right?" He said, "yessir." I have never been treated as rudely as I was by this restaurant. We ordered delivery to our hotel room and after 30 mins called to find out where the food was. Manager said the driver knocked on room door and after hearing nothing for 5 mins left the food at the door. We were in the room the whole time, never heard a knock or saw food, and the front desk said a Jimmy Johns delivery driver never came in the hotel. The manager then spent 20 mins telling us we were wrong, and finally offered to make us new food so that the driver could prove she was right and had been to the right place. We asked for our money back so we could go somewhere else and get food and she would not refund us our money. Now we're out the money and the food. Here visiting from Minnesota and I have to say I am very disapointed with the service. Employees were very very very rude. I am vegan and asked for no cheese, no mayo, no peppers on my sandwich. I visited this store around 8:30 p.m. and there were 3 kids working the counter. They were just joking around and apparently had already cleaned up for the night in hopes of leaving soon. I placed my order and then they all just kept telling the boy making my sandwich how much he was going to dirty up (counter, spatula etc) to make my sandwich and joking that if he dirtied it he would clean it. So instead of getting a spatula he takes the cucumber and dips it in the avocado to smear it on. My veggies were placed on a separate work table and after all 3 of them touched and talked all over my sandwich I left disgusted and annoyed. I will never spend money here again. They need to hire more mature employees. There was an older lady who appeared to be a manager but was unphased by the unprofessional service given by immature employees.
