How the sandwich is advertised. He ordered his work extra onion, extra lettuce and extra tomato. L

I'm leaving them more stars than I should based on the fact that of 9+ times we've ordered food from here, this is the first time it was a total MISS. We always order from the app and always customize our sandwiches. I rarely stray from my favorite sandwich but my son likes to try out their limited time items they advertise. This time it was their Caprese Salami sandwich that was to come with fire roasted tomatoes, pesto sauce and balsamic glaze. Like eating mozzarella/tomato caprese salad with the balsamic reduction, but on a sandwich (with salami). I placed an online order at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023. When I arrived a few minutes later, I was told that they were out of French bread. The only bread they had was the wheat (square) sandwich type bread. I considered cancelling the order but decided to kill some time and come back for the food. I came back after 30 minutes and they delivered my 2 large ("Giant") sandwiches. I drive home and on my way dropped off the specialty sandwich to my son. Five minutes later he calls me to tell me his sandwich was missing any and all tomatoes -- much less the "fire roasted" ones. There was no pesto and no balsamic glaze on the sandwich. He sent me pictures. Now I understand how marketing teams can make a sandwich look glorious compared to what you might actually receive, but this was ridiculous. In fact, the two halves of his Giant sandwich look smaller than they should be. Like they cut a piece out from the middle of the bread so they didn't have to use as much ingredients. ? The side-by-ide photos of the sandwich look much smaller than the 8" each sandwich half should be. The store has agreed to refund my purchase based on t he fact the store is not located close to me and it was inconvenient to make a THIRD TRIP back for what should have been a simple food order. I will definitely hold them to their word should that charge not be dropped. Photos attached for their reference about the complaint.

Don't try and purchase food an hour before close. They give you the excuse they are out of bread.

When we arrived, First Watch looked pretty busy, but we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away. The hostess was very kind and welcoming, and our waiter was just as nice... cordial, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The service was definitely one of the highlights. For food, we both ordered the Trifecta. I chose the waffle with potatoes instead of eggs, along with their chicken sausage patty, and I added a side salad with mixed greens and a lemon herb dressing. I also added a side of chicken. Initially, I thought the chicken breast would be about $2.50, but before placing the order our waiter came back and clarified that it would be about $5 and would come as strips instead of a full chicken breast. I appreciated him coming back to correct that. When the chicken came out, it was sliced into very thin pieces and was a little lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waiter, and he apologized and handled it professionally by removing it from the bill, which I appreciated. Overall, the food was okay, about a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The waffle was tasty, just as I remembered, and the potatoes were good as well. However, the chicken sausage patty wasn't very good. I personally didn't enjoy it and ended up leaving it on the plate. My husband ordered the pancake with pecans, scrambled eggs, and a side of grits with butter, and he enjoyed his meal. One thing I did like was that you can now pay your bill directly from your phone, which makes it really convenient when you're ready to go without waiting. Overall, the big win here was the service and hospitality. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and we appreciated being seated quickly even when it seemed busy. The food was decent, though I've had better, but the service made the experience pleasant.

I had the salmon eggs benedict, as I always do... It did not taste good at all. The Salmon didn't taste like real fish. Tags were bland and the only thing I really liked were the fresh red onions. Bummer. Now, I always like to wash it down with a purple haze... Thankfully it was still really tasty. Maybe the cooks were tired. *Shrugs* Lol. They close at 2:30 and I came in at 2:00 The inside was pretty empty with only maybe four tables in use. It was relaxing atmosphere... so maybe if I go another day during peak hours, it will taste better. We shall see. I haven't given up on you yet!

I wouldn't say the beef was high quality, but it wasn't bad. However, it's difficult to give more than about a 3-4 star rating based on a few issues. The pizza had a light sauce. I understand this is a preference, but the restaurant does charge an extra $1 for more sauce. Similarly, if you want garlic butter on the crust it cost. Most pizza places will give extra sauce at no charge and several give garlic butter. Ingridients cost money, I get that, but it's difficult to recommend this restaurant considering all the addition upcharges that competitors don't have. Additionally, I ordered beef and ricotta cheese as toppings on the restaurant's website. When I got this pizza it had feta cheese on it instead of ricotta. This is disappointing because I very much prefer ricotta over feta cheese. I would have appreciated it if the restaurant called me and asked if feta is OK instead of trying to pass it off as ricotta. It's upsetting to receive something I did not order and have to pay for it. This might be even more upsetting if they tried to give sausage instead of beef, considering many people do not eat pork. For this reason I will probably go elsewhere in the future. However, as a fair reviewer, the food was good and I believe with all things considered, 3 stars is fair.
