Just one employee makes this a horrible experience every time they are working. It is bipolar atmosphere with what appears to be employees stealing from the company since they seem to over charge and charge extra every time I order here. I'm officially done with this establishment. There is a gremlin behind the counter that chooses what is complimentary, and they don't follow the proper recipe in making the sandwiches and leaving out some of the meat, I'm always missing two slices of tomatoes. Seems to be very discriminative and not the Jimmy John's I'm use to. They have a sign "no sandwich too fancy" but yet it just seems too complicated every time.

$15.49 Cubano combo... hardly any sandwich.

$15.49 cubano combo.... Hardly any sandwich. Delivered quickly but I feel scammed based on the size of this.

This place was so disappointing as disgusting. It smelled like a sweaty armpit when walking inside and it was so dirty. The sandwich bar where they make the food had stuff all over it - things of meat on it, not in its case at all. I even mentioned it to the guy taking my order and he could have cared less. I got my sandwich and dumped it in the garbage. The meat on the counter was behind the sign. I was trying to be discreet

I used to love this Jimmy Johns.. but after tonight NEVER again. Opened my sandwich, right as I was about to take a bite I noticed something red on the bun. Thought it was a tomato stain so I (stupidly) wiped it. Put the sandwich down to open the lid for my kickn ranch.. and BAM... drop of blood on the wrapper... At this point I'm freaking out and trying to figure out a reasonable explanation. Tried out my tomato theory and wiped tomato juice on the wrapper to see if it would stain the same. NOPE. My husband called to let them know. They said it was because of roast beef juice. I didn't order roast beef.. They sent a new sandwich and took back the old one. Probably not going to eat the new one because I'm just feeling super grossed out. If I get some sort of verification that it could be any other plausible thing besides blood I'll apologize ahead of time for this rant and ramble. But until then... gross

I don't usually review these kinds of places...but they only have 2, so why not?…read more Charleys is quintessential mall food. This Charleys has been up since I was a teenager, maybe around 20 years? They've always been delish. It one of the pricier food court options. I appreciate that they have moved to an app for their rewards system. I would never have the punch cards when I came to the mall maybe once a year in more recent years. I usually order a chicken Philly or chicken California and they're delish. Ordered a Philly steak today and my kid ordered the chicken Cali. It was over $30 for 2 regular combos with ultimate fries and large lemonades. I downloaded the app so I was able to save $5. Issues- you cannot hear the person taking your order and she can't hear you. Order from your app- it will be way easier. Also, they always look more flustered than any of the other food places. Maybe it's just the nature of cooking the meat as orders are placed, maybe it's that they are busier. I don't appreciate spending $30 for mall food and being charged $.69 for a side of ranch. Also, the $5 discount wasnt showing up for me (they have a sign up saying download the app and save $5 on your meal) and the lady was telling me to use it next time. I asked if she would manually discount it and she refused and said I would have to use it next time. For someone that comes to the mall once a year that's less than helpful. Good service goes a long way. Maybe Charleys doesn't care. Maybe it's a mall thing. It eventually worked and I got my $5 discount but it shouldn't be that big of a hassle.

Each military installation features a variety of chain fast food restaurants and one of the vendors…read moreis Charley's Philly Steaks. Prices are reasonable for a large sandwich and the condiments included. Each sandwich is made to order and the steak is cooked fresh. Fries are also cooked per order and not sitting in a tray. Yes, a traditional Philly is juts meat and cheese, but each place does have their way of preparing the sandwich they serve. The large 12 inch sandwich will cost around $10 with fries and a Coke an additional $4. Having fresh fries offered as a side is a great alternative to a bag of chips. The sandwich was served warm and had good flavor. Beware the sandwich has Mayo on it which you can make certain is not applied or any condiments you do not desire. This location is in a food court area so there is plenty of seating and no sales tax. Enjoy!

I've been here a few times to this location to attest that the fried chicken is delicious!…read moreIt's right next to the Tacoma Mall (literally on the corner). Parking is shared with the mall parking lot; easy to find when it's not busy, but can be challenging to maneuver when it does get busy. Seems like there is just one entrance at the front to the store, where the line is set up from the door so it doesn't feel like there is much room, especially if you're ordering takeout and have to wait for your order. I like to order ahead with the Jollibee app since it offers rewards with a points system and also to limit social interactions. My order is usually ready by the time I arrive, so no complaints there. What's great about Jollibee fried chicken is that it's fried perfectly, even when it's not fresh. I'm not going to question the magic behind it, I will just say it tastes crispy and yummy and tastes great with rice or the gravy that it comes with. The portions are fair for the price. My pre-teen son likes their spicy chicken sandwich; for the "spice," it comes with Sriracha mayo and jalapeños but we usually exclude the jalapeños. The chicken tenders taste a bit mediocre and chewy for me, so probably won't order that again. When it comes to sides, the mashed potatoes and the spaghetti is good! The spaghetti is a bit on the sweeter side for me, but I like all the ingredients mixed into it. I can taste some meat (beef or sausage?) and cheese. I tried it for the first time yesterday and might order it again. I haven't tried the fries here since the pics don't look all that impressive to me. You can't go wrong with the dessert pies if you're craving something sweet. They do have the ube pie here and the peach mango pie. Drink options are fairly limited though.. I mean, you have your classic soda options but the only specialty drink they offer is their pineapple quencher drink. I was expecting this location to offer similar drink options compared to the Mack Rd/South Sac location in California (I frequented that location when I lived there but recently moved to Washington). They had a coconut dream freeze and lychee iced tea and other drink options I really enjoyed, but there's nothing like that at this location. Hence the 4 stars since I'm mainly just coming here for the fried chicken. Another reason is because some items appear out of stock. I wad able to order adobo rice for my previous visit a few weeks ago but when I went earlier this week, that option wasn't available on the app (which was why I decided to try out the spaghetti). They currently are doing a limited time collab with Final Fantasy XIV where you can get an exclusive "Eat Chicken" emote with purchase of the FFXIV box meal or 6 pc bucket bundle, but personally, I feel that it's overpriced and you're paying about $7 for the emote. If you haven't had Jollibee before, I'd recommend trying their chicken at least once. Definitely better quality than Popeyes and KFC (with the exception of the chicken tenders).

We had more than enough food for two women. The rice and mashed potatoes were well made and flavorful. The biscuits out of this world and I did not miss the American style butter and jam add. But the chicken! Wonderful! And I usually go to a Korean chicken place but this is now in my to places for the best chicken. Pro tip: Don't want pie?
