Joined the app about a month ago, but been a fan for awhile. Today I received a text about a deal on delivery - never done with them, so I thought heck, I'll do it. Ordered my food with instructions about sending a text a a Pic when it arrived. Customized my free sandwiches (because I had rewards) left a nice tip because my order was basically free. My order was placed at 12:21 as per my receipt and my text with Pic came in at 12:42 as per my phone. See the lusciousness below! Thanks guys, you really are Freaky Fast! read more

Jimmy John's - Sandwiches Near Me - Elgin, Illinois

I just started working nearby and have been to this JJ location a few times now. Listen friends, I love Jimmy Johns. I eat at JJ an embarrassingly amount. I usually visit this location during lunch and have yet to have a problem. Is there anything better than the bread being so fluffy you literally "squeeee" with joy? I think not. The service has always been great, what I would expect when visiting JJ. I have never used the drive thru so I cannot comment on that. read more

Went in to order two sandwiches to go. The place was completely empty. The guy working had the worst attitude acted like he had better things to do. Will never go back. read more

The other reviews are not a fluke. We waited almost 10 minutes for two sandwiches at the drive through (there was no one in front of us and it was 2:00 pm on a Sunday). This is what we got. Barely enough meat to cover the bread. First and last time I will visit this location. read more

Waiting on a refund. It's been almost two months. Autumn was supposed to get back to me... never happened. Have called about 5 times and even talked to HQ twice. read more

I started my afternoon errands with a trip to the post office. I was super shocked that right before h holiday it wasn't that crowded. I was greeted with a friendly face and had a pleasant interaction. Keeping the same positive energy I had at the post office, I headed to Jimmy John's to grab lunch. It's all downhill from here. I approached the counter and asked about their new Little John sandwiches. I wanted to know if they came on wheat bread. Sadly they do not. (If anyone from JJ's Corporate reads this, please consider making these on wheat.) Back to my visit. I placed my order and asked the gentleman if I should open up the app to have him scan my rewards card. He told me I didn't need it if I was paying with my phone. Cool! (They do take Apple Pay.) At the counter you can see your sandwiches being made. I tried not to assume because this location has a drive-thru, but I didn't see my wheat sandwich being made. The gentleman tells me my order was ready and I politely ask if they made the Club Lulu on wheat. The guy rudely said "You didn't ask for it on wheat." I said yes, I did. He responded "No you didn't!" He then told me to give him the bag and he could remake it. He quickly remade the sandwich and sent me on my way. At the onset of my transaction I felt bad vibes. I was bright and bubbly and this guy was dry. He was so focused on taking my order he failed to provide a positive interaction Based on his treatment, I don't think I'll return to this location and meat on my sandwich. I felt like my sandwich barely had meat on it. Ugh! read more

To the franchise owner - Shut your location down if you can't staff it properly. The excuse of Covid is long over with, and you have no idea how to run a jimmy John's location if delivery is taking OVER AN HOUR with no warning! Your staff has ZERO customer service skills and need additional training. read more

I go too several of these locations as they are usually fast and convenient and I travel alot .This location is the worst First they are incredibly slow Second the employees are just rude. They often look like they want to punch you instead of give you friendly service. Now I actually have them asking me for a tip at the drive thru. The manager has to be really bad at this place as its the worst I have seen and I eat out alot read more

Okay, attempt #2. Was their mistake just once? No. They brought my sandwich. This after a long time with delivery so you would think they took their time to be careful this time. Nope. My specific request was unfilled (extras on the cucumbers) I only bought sandwich from this place AGAIN b/c my co-worker insist on ordering from there since it seems to be the only sub-sandwich place that delivers. Another one-star for poor service. read more

Very unprofessional management. Drive through order today and the employee taking my order immediately talked over me and couldn't understand what he was saying, so someone else ended up taking my order. Received my order and drove 20 minutes home to find out that 2 of the 3 sandwiches had completely no meat on them. Contacted the store via phone and simply asked for a refund, the employee on the phone said she can not do that unless i drive back to the store and "prove it". Asked for a manager and she stated that she was. I then went on to describe both employees who had taken and delivered my order through the drive through and asked her to just confirm with them that 2 sandwiches were made without meat, she again refused and said "i won't help you unless your drive back here and prove it". The manager stated her name was "Maddison" and had a horrible unprofessional attitude over two 8$ sandwiches which didn't even end up having meat on them. Disappointed. read more

Don't have any issue with the food. It was typically good Jimmy John's food. My comment refers to the staff. My team was performing detailed audits of operational activities in multiple cities around the state. We're not paid by the hour so we're focused on the tasks at hand... I've come to laugh at the clearly uneasy facial expressions I receive when visiting towns around the great state of Illinois and this visit was no exception. "No, I'm not going to harm you. Let me start by saying, I am usually a huge JJ's fan. But this location was not good. First of all, it took over an hour for delivery. JJs is usually so fast that I do freak, not today. I could understand maybe they were short on drivers and maybe taking a half an hour. But an hour? The delivery time wasn't even my big issue. When we got the food, the ice was melted in the drinks, the bread was hard as rock, and the meat was no longer cold. You can do better, Jimmy Johns. read more

I love jimmy johns but this one not so much. I ordered delivery and then got a call saying they couldn't complete my order because they were going to close soon. So I said okay and they said they would give me a refund. Over 2 weeks passed I still have not received a refund. I called numerous times and the answer was always someone will call you back and reach out to you and no one ever got back to me. And I still never got my refund. read more

I wished I would have taking the photo of my unwich sandwich. I was half way to my sandwich when I noticed a dead fly stuck between the lettuce and I almost ate it. The employee asked if I wanted an other one. He did gave me an other one but It seemed like they didn't care much about and not the most friendly employees. read more

I've ordered from here before. The first few times was great; however, since then the quality/timing has become poor. For example, it took an hour for delivery today. None of our drinks were correct and the meat on my roast beef sandwich could not be chewed. I'm seriously thinking this may be my last time ordering from there. read more

The food was ok, but kinda low on the topings. The staff is horrible. I walk in and about 5 people are standing at the counter bullshitting around. They also dont wear hair nets or hats so it was kinda gross to see them around the open containers of fresh veggies on their counter. Not going there again ill go across the street to subway. read more

I don't know if you hire millenials that went to school in the classroon down by the boiler room or what, but this location sucks balls. They rush through your order with a rude attitude then screw it up. You end up paying the already ridiculous prices for Jimmy Johns sandwiches and also get the reward of recieving some mangled mush-wich Thank you so much for basically stealing from me read more

I love Jimmy John's but will not visit this location again. The first visit a month ago was "eh". The quality of sandwiches we received was not the best. Thought it was an off day for them so my husband tried again last week. He went by the drive thru and when he got back to work he opened his sandwich to find only meat... nothing else on the sandwich! I'm not sure what he paid $8 for. I called the store to speak with someone about it and get him an actual sandwich and was told the manager would call me back which of course never happened. They easily could have said sorry, come by and pick up a new sandwich. 1 star for quality and service. read more

I ordered an unwich veggie sandwich, I was at school and had it delivered. The service was great and fast, but when I unwrapped the sandwich there was a alive bug wrapped up in my sandwich... Disgusting! I usually love jimmy johns but this really made me want to take a break. read more

Ordered and ate the tuna sub on May 22nd 2016 at 10:00am later felt sick puked up the sandwich later.

Terrible customer service. We had a large order that they couldn't locate so they turned us away saying that we didn't place the order. We gave them our listed order and they said they had nothing like it. Finally after finding the name of the person who took the order from us, they listened. Our order was sitting there the whole time. No apology. No accommodations. Food was 45 minutes late for a group of kids because of them. They just didn't want to deal with figuring it out. It was laughable how terrible the experience was. The food was great, sure. But I would not recommend ordering more than one sub from this location because they don't know how to handle it. read more

This Jimmy Johns deserves its low rating. The sandwiches are always short on ingredients and slopped together like someone is in a very big hurry. Even worse, the vegetables are never ripe and of questionable quality; tomatoes should not be crunchy and lettuce is supposed to be green, not white. Finally, accessing the store is really inconvenient. read more

Great location, friendly emplooyees, fast delivery! Gotta try the #9 with cucumber and hot peppers! Yummmm

I like coming to this location because the the food is great but I like that it's an all girl staff, you hardly ever see that! Keep rocking out ladies! read more

I live just under a mile from the store, and ordered a sandwich for delivery (work from home), and had to wait an hour and a half for the driver to arrive with a soggy sandwich. Called and spoke with the General Manager who was completely unapologetic and refused to compensate with a coupon for next visit, or comping my meal, instead saying "all I can do is send a different driver out with another sandwich", and "we no longer advertise our service as being Freaky Fast". Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, nor will I recommend that anyone else order from this location. read more

Soni ordered a sandwhich and about ten min later i get a call back saying i am out of range. I live ten min down the road which is about 2.4 miles away .6 miles inside the delivery zone. But i get told i am out of range sorry bye. I am clearly in range i dont get how u can make business when u can't even drive ten minutes. Ive ordered there before And then they tell me a lie saying they changed their boundaries....? Wow you all are a piece of work. So just to let everyone know if you live past larkin high school going towards the river you cant order from this jimmy johns bc they say we are in a dead zone....bahahahah. read more

Worst Jimmy Johns ever. The staff seems not willing to take my order. They don't know how to smile and greet customers.

Horrible, horrible service. placed an order online, and my sandwich arrived the way they wanted it, not the way I ordered it. I called the store and they said they would remake the sandwich. They delivered the same wrongly made sandwich again. I talked to Brandon at the store, and he assured me my food was correct,. He said the only thing they forgot to do was cut it in half. Well Brandon, I don't eat tomatoes! Where was my cheese, peppers and sauce? This is the WORST customer service I ever experienced in my life. read more

Freaky Slow!! Placed an order online for delivery. After an hour, I called and was told all sandwiches were on the road - it will be there shortly. After another half an hour, called again and was told they will re- make the order and send again. I asked for some compensation for my bad experience - the manager said he couldn't do anything but the other manager would call me. Sandwiches delivered 2 HOURS after order placed - dinner instead of lunch. Manager never called. Guess they don't want or need my business read more

I was kind of leery using this location with the bad reviews but I have to say I had great customer service over the phone - very patient, placed three separate orders by cc. Added on another order a few min later and SUPER fast delivery! The store is under 2 miles and we got over food under 15 min of ordering! read more

This is the WORST Jimmy Johns I have ever been to. I live less than a mile away and they refuse to deliver. However, I offered a $10 tip once and they delivered. (total bs) The manager (Sandy?) totally sucks too. She's so rude. She refused to put mustard on my sandwich while I was ordering through the drive-through. She offered two mustard packets and wouldn't give me anything else?? I'll NEVER return to this particular location. Its worth the 5 minute drive up Randall to the other Jimmy Johns near LA Fitness. They're wonderful over there. Maybe Sandy should re-do her training over at that location in regards to customer service. read more

I really liked going thru the drive thru and was offered a box lunch promotion! It sure was tasty and they made it in about the same time as it takes to make my sandwich normally. The only downfall was the process of taking my order and giving me my change back. They seem to be running an ancient system and need to update to a newer computer system to keep up the times and still keep the freaky fast motto. read more
