Ended up at this location when ignored at the nearby restaurant I went out my way to get lunch. The sole employee was warm, friendly and outstanding. My sandwich was made exactly like I would have made it. He inquired about my level of extra mayo? I didn't have to continue to say 'more please'. My bread was covered from end to end with mayo so I didn't have a dry bite. He restored my willingness to eat from this chain (this unit at least). I placed an online order 5/12/2025 and after about 45 minutes I called and was told they only had two delivery people riding manual bikes. I was told that the delivery would be about 30 minutes more. After 45 minutes my food still not picked up for delivery. I canceled the order and asked for a refund. I was told the order would be voided and my account would not be charged. Low and behold my account was debited. I asked, why was my account debited when the order should have been voided? No answer. I asked to speak to the area manager who did not get on the phone or return my call. I was told it would take up to three weeks for the transaction to be completed. It took less than 24 hours to debit my account but three weeks for a refund to be completed. I'm not happy and this customer will never patronize Jimmy John's again. Professionalism goes a long way and the area manager should have been willing to talk to an unsatisfied customer. read more

I ordered a door dash and the Jimmy John's worker did not deliver it to the right place and they would not refund me because he "left it at the right place" and told me that he could tell me what kind of beer bottles I had in my trash can, but I don't even drink beer or have beer bottles. This was a very slow and poor experience at Jimmy Johns. I wonder if the people managing know anything about nutrition. While I was waiting I disintegrated into nothing... that's how long it took. I became awfully malnourished, and had to go through 3 years of weight gaining therapy. I'm still not back to my original weight. People who see me on the street remark that I look very sickly. I work at a local hospital close to this location and order quite frequently. This location used to be AMAZING and fast, however tonight will be the last time i order there. The past few times it has taken over an hour to get my food, and the last time i ordered they cancelled the order due to a disgruntled employee and never notified me it was cancelled. We had a massive order for 50 people and they still meticulously packaged and labeled each order, got every single customization right, and had very fast service. Just had the most ridiculous experience in this store. I order a sandwich, leave the counter, go get my drink, then come back to the counter. There is a sandwich sitting on the counter. I say to the person who took my order, "is this mine?" She says, "yes." I take the sandwich, drive to my office, sit down to eat and it's the wrong sandwich. A decent sandwich, but there's not anything remarkable that distinguishes them from Subway, Firehouse, Quiznos etc. All cold sandwiches (I believe), and they do deliver ---but if you live within walking distance, then you're almost out of their micro sized delivery area! This chain needs to step up their game if they want to survive in their parking deprived location. I love the food, but most of all the service! I always order online, from the Birmingham VA Medical Center. Parking downtown is so difficult - there are no empty spots on the street usually - but you wouldn't know it by Jimmy John's service! They have my food - and ice-cold drink - to me in no more than 20 minutes! Once my drink was Dr. Pepper rather than Diet Coke (that I'd ordered). I called the store, and not only did they give me a credit for the next time that I order with them, but they also sent someone back to the VA to bring me a Diet Coke! I ordered a delivery order with the app at like 2pm. At about 3pm the store GM called me and said there had been some problem in their system or whatever and they hadn't started my ticket yet, but they would refund me and deliver it anyway. That seemed great to me. I would have left a 5 star review if I got my food, and that was it. Not going to lie, I already know I like the food, and that's great customer service, but customer service goes out the window for the rest of my experience. So I waited patiently til about 5:45pm and called back. They told me the driver left with it about 10 minutes ago, and they had one other stop on the way. I called back again at 6:45pm, and they told me they already dropped it off. I told them they must have delivered it to the wrong address, because I never got it, and no one ever knocked on my door. They insisted that they did deliver it to the right address, that they knew the apartment building well, delivered there all the time, etc, and said they knocked on the door. I told them that they made a mistake and delivered my food to the wrong address. They were utterly unwilling to accept that, and eventually told me "I'm going to hang up the phone now." They didn't offer any solution to the problem and were very rude and presumptive. To prove a point, I took a picture of the front of my apartment building and drove to Jimmy John's, and went in. I showed this dude the picture of my building with the number in big black letters on the front of it, and asked him if it was the building he delivered to. He looked at it, and said "Honestly, no." So at least he knows he was wrong, and I got a 5 star spicy meatball sub from Firehouse Subs. read more
