I have been a patient of Dr. Taylor's for many years and would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable, will to take the time needed to understand issues and develop a treatment plan. I never feel like I am being rushed in and out of her office. Dr. Taylor is a straight shooter and will tell you what to do and expects you to follow through with her instructions. She is much more than a Primary Care Physician and if you need a doctor to take on a difficult issue, she is both knowledgeable and willing to help you when others might not. read more

She was listed on my nephews HMO for Blue Cross blue shield, unfortunately he had not seen her yet and broke his elbow over NYE urgent care requested he follow up Tuesday with orthopedic, insurance required a prior authorization. They would not give the referral without a new patient appointment with a nurse and would not work to schedule him for two more days!!!! Asked if she could speak with the doctor and explain the situation that he has two broken bones and she said no they won't squeeze anyone in. Do not use this place they do not care about their patients!!! read more

I went to Dr. Taylors office, saw Dr. Don Hund (for $85) for a sinus infection. He prescribed a Z-Pack, it did not work. I called back to get another prescription, I was told to make another appointment (another $85) or they would not help me, period. No "if, and or buts", pay up or stay sick. Does this sound like a doctor of medicine or money? Do you think she cares about my health, or the money? Here is a quote from THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH, "I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick." Do 'you' think she upheld her oath? I am poor (no insurance) which is why I had to pay $85 for a visit. I recently needed to get a prescription refilled that Walgreens was not successful in getting authorization from the Dr office. I called and talked to the nurse who said it had been 3 mths since I had been seen, so she would transfer me to get payment of $50 and she would call it in. So being confused to what I'm paying for and why, I asked the person taking the payment "why do I have to pay $50 for a refill authorization because this was never done before?" She said it was a new policy for "right now" that Dr. Taylor implemented. I commented that my copay was half that, so why $50? (I could have just come in and to get a refill for less with my copay). She said I could make an appt if I would rather (consider this is during the stay at home quarantine for Corona Virus). Of course, I don't want to come into a doctor's office right now, I'm well and I thought the reason for the quarantine was to keep people away from each other unless necessary. So the office is OK with not seeing me as long as I give payment for them to call it in? Yes, this is in lieu of coming in. About an hour later, I called back to make sure I understood correctly because others told me that can't be right or legal, maybe I misunderstood because they are basically taking advantage of the situation knowing their patients won't want to come in right now during a quarantine. Upon my call back, I talked to someone else who explained again that it was a new policy in lieu of people making appointments since they had been experiencing cancellations. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation and put on the phone with Dr Taylor. She says that it is legal and added very sarcastically that I could just go down the street to a walk-in and pay $175 if I wanted to do that instead to get my prescription refilled. Eventhough the office's new policy was never made known to the patient or in writing, I would have accepted the change for this difficult time. However, I am appalled by her immature, sarcastic response to me and will look for a new doctor's office. On a side note, her PA that I always saw is extremely kind. It's a shame that she is associated with this office. read more

I've been a patient here for a few years. Overall I was happy with my care. My bloodwork numbers weren't great, but I was taking my meds, dieting, exercising, and honestly hoping they would level out eventually. Until I felt a bump on my throat. Id had thyroid issues for years, and that's the primary reason I came to this practice. That said, I never received an ultrasound of my thyroid. After I felt this bump (nodule) I begged for an ultrasound. It came back with 2 nodules. Dr. Taylor looked at the report and said "eh. they're not that big. We can just do another scan later." With a history of thyroid cancer in my family, and bloodwork that's less than ideal, I did not like her answer. I found an endocrinologist. They gave me another ultrasound, which led to a biopsy, which was positive for Cancer. Who knows how long that would have been there if I wouldn't have advocated for myself and found another opinion. Headed to MD Anderson this month. Should have left this practice sooner. read more

My husband and I had appointments with David Brumbaugh and Doctor Jill Taylor February 2022. First I have to say that the office staff is excellent. We were quickly checked in by Jenny and we had prepared our paperwork beforehand to avoid a wait. Jenny was professional, kind and efficient with the check in and check out. Joe, the medical assistant, took us both in and took our vitals went over questions and was thorough and extremely professional. Normally I have white coat syndrome but Joe put me at ease thereby giving me a lower blood pressure lol. Then David Brumbaugh, Nurse Practitioner, did a complete evaluation on both of us, scheduled blood work, and assisted us promptly and answered any and all questions we had. We then had an appointment with Dr Taylor, who squeezed us into her schedule as we were up against a time wall. Dr. Taylor is extremely busy and now we totally know why. She does not mince words or leave out details. She will tell you how it is whether you like it or not. Personally I like it and my husband does as well. There are those out there that just can't handle hearing facts about themselves, but this is a doctor and she is doing her job and is dedicated to her patients. We have zero complaints about our experiences at Dr Jill Taylor's office. The staff was wonderful, the decor is wonderful yet quite humorous in some respects, and again for a doctor to squeeze us into her schedule like she did we just can't say thank you enough. When we needed Dr Taylor she was there for us and so was the entire staff. Also another really super cool thing is there is a pharmacy inside the office space. So you don't have to go running all over town to get a prescription filled and in fact when you do need a refill they can mail it to you just look at the website and you can see the details about that it is really nice. I am a big believer in treatments that are natural and supplementation that can heal. Dr Taylor is a DO which is different than an MD and oh so much better because she uses the entire body approach and gets to know the patient and their history then puts together a treatment plan for the patient. So glad that we have found this doctor and staff that totally works together. Oh and I forgot to mention that the staff does have fun, we could hear them talking, yet working extremely hard, and laughing and enjoying what they are doing. This tells me so much about the environment and that the people are happy. Thank you all for working together and making a doctor visit a pleasant experience. read more

this place is a joke! recieved a 13,441.79 bill for blood work that i didnt' ask for i was there for a yearly check up !! i was not supposed to be out of pocket at all! when you try to talk to them about the billing they treat you like crap and they are always moving offices! this whole situation is a joke with them you never know where you are going ! why are they moving so much its odd, i found out jill taylor lost her license in new york and i am going to be hiring an attorney for this bill i just recieved !!!!! rude staff and billing department!!!! read more

I went back in to see Dr. Taylor for my follow up visit today. She assured me that the front desk issues have been resolved and that it will not happen again. Just the same as when I saw Dr. Taylor last week, she was just as efficient and caring this visit. She is definitely on a mission to cure me from the symptoms that I have had since December. I appreciate the care and time that she takes with her patients. I will continue to see Dr. Taylor and would definitely recommend her to my family and friends. read more

I went here in January of 2016 after having a baby and having high blood pressure due to the pregnancy. My main reason for trying out this family practice was just to help get my blood pressure under control. Little did I know that I would be pushed around from one test to another which included EKG, stress test, blood work, urine, ultra sound of liver and kidneys, and a strength test. After costing me a ton of money and telling me all the test came back with something wrong, she then tried to get me to buy all types of vitamins from their pharmacy which I could get at any store. Before leaving her office she tells me if I have a headache or chest pain go straight to the ER. I just had a new baby and have been through all these test I just knew that I was going to die! I went to a cardiologist who had me do a nuclear stress test, wear a heart monitor and did his own blood work. Guess what? All test came back fine. He said I am to healthy to be in his office. I had panic attacks from what Dr. Taylors office had told me. I wouldn't take my dog there. I will tell everyone I know and who will listen never go there. read more
