I had an old frame with no attached hardware or wire. His was the second store I visited with the same problem. Instead of turning me away with a shrug, he assured me, hardware or no hardware, he'd make it work! I came back to receive a beautifully cleaned canvas and expertly wired frame. Sure, it should be easy enough to fix something so simple, but it's not in my repertoire of "fix-it-yourself". Not only did he do a wonderful job, he was attentive throughout - from store entry to project completion. I also got a quick lesson on framing to boot! I ended up choosing a handmade metal floating frame and it ended up being less expensive than the quotes I got from two other frame stores nearby for plain black frames. The painting was done by a friend who wrote a note on the back of the canvas and without my asking, Igor put a plastic window on the back of the frame so we could read the note, so thoughtful!!
