Don't get me wrong, I appreciate architecture, interior design, and all aspects of interior decorating, but I struggle at finding and combining elements to make a space work. Anyway, I found this wonderful designer Christina Lauren through some friends of mine who have also used her to decorate their chic Hollywood homes. She is very personable and friendly and we went to work right away. My home isn't that big, so I was stuck on how to make a small space less cluttered and more functional. My goal was to have the house looking and feeling light and airy, clean and modern. Also, my budget was very small and I made her aware of that from the beginning just so there was no miscommunication. She is extremely generous, flexible, hard working, and gave me a free consultation which was thorough and very helpful. At the end of our consultation she advised me to lighten up the rooms by selecting cool colors, keeping the crown molding white. Small simple elements she recommended purchasing such as a camel back headboard for the king size bed, curtains, and a mod dresser... these made such a difference. The estimated the cost of all the recommend furniture was just under $1,600 and it made such a difference in my home and was very easy to do. Later, I was put on a chalkboard project for a bar and restaurant that needed serious revamping. I called her in to speak with the manager. Christina showed up and gave yet another free consultation. Her energy and vision left the manager feeling confident and with a clear plan of what to do with the space given. With again a slim budget she showed what a little paint and creativity could do for the place. Overall I highly recommend Christina Lauren for any interior design project big or small, business or residential. She will make your vision come true, and she can deliver your project on point under whatever your budget is. It's hard to find sincere talented people with integrity and good energy. I'm definitely a huge fan of her work.
