Waited 10 min to get my car checked in. Went to get lunch at the center next door and came back 35 min later as instructed since they were very busy. As I was walking back I could see from a half a block away that my car war parked in front. Great except as I got closer my car was running with AC on, windows down and key fob in the car. I have been here many times and this is never the procedure and with the price of gas at $4 a gallon it's disrespectful and wasteful. I was given many excuses like he just drove it up, he saw you coming, none of which was true as I saw it parked there over 5 min prior. When I spoke to the "manager" who was wearing a trainee patch, he asked what can I help you with when he was already told by the cashier, pretended it was standard procedure and referred me to another store down the street because of "my distaste for this store". Not helpful. A discount and apology would have been appropriate but neither were offered. Service is at an all time low but customers still have choices and I will exercise mine to not use Jiffy Lube again. read more

They also switched my headlight to be "ON" so when I opened my door it kept beeping. I had to google what the beeping meant to get it shut off. I think this location has changed ownership or management in the last few years. I had been coming to this location in a pinch over the last 15 years or so and I always got the high pressure sales pitch for the radiator flush, brake fluid, new rear view mirror gasket, gravity stabilizer fluidetc. They would hand you a list of about 30 services and act as if you wouldn't make it home alive without getting half of them done. Over the last couple of years, however, there has been a new manager--a blond woman--and they have been pretty straight up. Today, I brought a BMW in for the first time to that location and I figured they would try to upsell or upcharge given the brand. Nope, I asked for the oil and filter and they did the oil and filter. The tech even apologized for the wait as I left. I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. This was actually my first time at a Jiffy Lube and I was unsure how it worked. I parked and waited at the counter to talk to someone and they told me how it worked. (If you're like me and didn't know, you just get in line at a drive-thru and they direct you to an open bay. Then, you tell them what you need and they do it while you wait inside the waiting area.) I didn't have to wait in line long before my car was seen. They offered quite a few complimentary and additional-cost services (I think they filled my windshield wiper fluid for free, which was cool.) The waiting room is clean, with magazines, a water machine, and a TV playing a looping video of car repair information. There were only about 7 to 10 seats (maybe less), and they filled up fast. I ended up giving my seat to a mother/kid and standing for about half of the time. I'm able-bodied, so it wasn't an issue, but I wished the space was larger with more seating. However, when they were done and I ended up paying, the cashier/mechanic got his manager, who took $15 off for me as a thank-you for giving up my chair. I thought that was really nice. I also had a coupon for another $10 or $15 off. (You can get the coupon online from their website.) Overall a good experience. I'll be back in 5000 to 7500 miles! 9/10. read more

This place is amazing! Car aside, the hospitality is amazing! They're very friendly, they greet all guests, walk you to/from your car, and just overall very genuine and intentional with their customer interactions. This was my first time going but will likely make this my home base for all car needs in the future. Chris/Christopher was super helpful and informative. Terrible experience. These guys said nothing to me beforehand, went and changed the oil, then wanted $113 for it. After this, the manager (nobody else) talked crap about me when I went back out to my car. He was a complete jerk. Again, the other guys there were polite, but the manager was a total jerk. It was a disagreement, but there was no need for it to get personal. Anyway, at that point I just wanted to get out of there. Miserable experience. My mom has converted me into a Jiffy Lube fan girl! I now fully understand why they have an entire concert arena named after them. I've been getting my oil changed at various gas stations and auto dealerships my whole entire adult life but the service I received at Jiffy Lube was top notch! I was in and out in a thirty minute time frame, the service adviser was very knowledgeable, walked me through her entire reasoning on why certain things needed to be done and made recommendations for the future as well as local spots in the area that could help fix my alignment at a decent cost. They also cleaned up all the tiny little goldfish and cheerio crumbs out of my carpet which has made riding in my car a more enjoyable experience. Here is the reply that I received with the picture Saravanan Dhandapani, Thank you for reaching out to me. I completely understand your concern. At our locations we use what are called "Ecobox" packaging. They cut down on waste and save us inventory space. I have attached a pic of what the boxes look like. The new oil is drained into plastic containers and then poured into vehicles. During the day the containers do get a little dirty on the outside. The location has cameras and we can assure you that new clean oil was installed in your vehicle. You are more than welcome to stop in and speak with a manager on duty. 3/23/19 Today my wife needed to get her breaks fixed, oil change and new rear windshield wiper put on. We met with Joanne who has helped us before. We were informed the wait time for the work could be two hours. Since we had some time on our hands we walked around and killed time at Panera Bread. After some time passed, we went down Tuesday Morning and looked around. Less than two hours we got a call from Jiffy Lube to come on back. Meeting Joanne again was a wonderful experience. We did a walk through on all but one thing which we forgot about. Half way home we discovered the rear windshield wiper was to big. We called Jiffy Lube and spoke with one of the mancanics. We were told to come on back and they can fix the problem. True to his word (I did not get his name, but he is in the picture next to Joanne) the mancanic did fix the problem. It was around this time I did see some other mancanics who seemed to be in a good mood too. I know I saw a lot of bad reviews, but so far for us, we have had a positive experience. When we did have questions, Joanne was there to break down the information and let us know what we were dealing with. I would like to thank the staff for a job well done. First time at this Jiffy Lube location. I needed an oil change and was tired of putting it off so I dropped by without an appointment. In fact, no appointments are needed. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I opted for the signature oil change, purchased new windshield wipers and they topped off my windshield wiper fluid. The Service Adviser was very knowledgeable and helpful. She did not use scare tactics which I sincerely appreciated. She was straight forward and just told me what she recommended in terms of additional maintenance services. I really liked this location. Everyone was really nice. I will return. read more

I am a customer of Jiffy Lube on Maple Ave in Vienna for many years. The mangers and technicians are always friendly and competent. A few days ago, I went there to top off engine oil, but the assistant manager, Chris Ikossie checked every fluid levels and added to full. Also, they checked the tire pressures. You may pay a little bit more for engine oil change at Jiffy Lube than a gas station. But, their follow-up services, time saving from their prompt services, and staff's courtesy and friendliness are a lot more worth than a little bit saving at differnt places. Jiffy Lube is simply a great place and the staff, including Chris Ikossie, are excellent, and I highly recommend them for any car owners. read more

Be careful with this Jiffy Lube! Get everything in writing in advance, or just don't go there. We authorized them to replace the brake pads on our Infinity. They told my wife (when she dropped her car off) they would replace the brake pads and it would cost around $400. When I picked-up the car they replaced all 4 rotors as well and charged us $1,200! When I questioned it, they first tried to tell me it was $400 per wheel. They didn't even address that we had never discussed nor authorized replacement of the rotors. After several days of calling and asking to speak to the manager, he has never called us back or addressed the overcharges. We got screwed. read more

This Jiffy Lube is Everything they say it is. I've been to this location several times and now they have more women working there. For me that's a plus as I feel they don't treat me like an idiot if I don't know what type of oil I want. The men who work here are equally as cool. Start to finish they are fast and efficient. Even if you are that person who arrives ten minutes before closing. They provide a lot of services (top off of washer fluid etc) that I didn't know previously. I had the BEST experience at this Jiffy Lube! I interacted with Carlos Fuentes, and he could not have been more helpful. I had a lot of work to get done and he was very sensitive to my time, the cost and scope of the repairs. The work was done quickly, correctly, and actually ended up costing almost $200 less than his original estimate. The best part about it, was I got my car back, and it had been vacuumed and cleaned! I can not say enough about this Jiffy Lube. I have had a couple of bad experiences in some "local" shops, and I am so relieved that I now have confidence in a maintenance shop! My wife was there for an oil change recently. We always went there when we needed service since it was close to home. She came back with an Invoice for $90. (I usually do not care.) After being shocked at the cost, I noticed that cabin air filter was replaced at a cost of $49.99. I called them to see why the cost was so high for the filter. They said it was a charcoal filter and works better. They even added that they did not charge for labor. The service manager even quoted the price at a Lexus dealer. Having changed cabin filters before, I checked to see what they installed. It was a Purolator C35667, which is not a charcoal filter and was white in color (see attached pics). On Amazon, it costs $15. In bulk it would cost about half of that. This means the price (lets assume was $10) was marked up by about 500%. I understand there needs to be markup for the convenience factor, but I would never go a place that LIES and overcharges customers using dealer costs for comparison. Personally, I could not bear the lies I was told. The people I hate most are those that lie and they should be fired. We will never ever go to this place again, even for a cup of water. read more

I am writing to file a complaint against the service I was provided this past week through multiple Jiffy Lube locations. On Sunday afternoon, I discovered a nail in my tire. I took my car to be serviced at the Jiffy Lube in Vienna. They were unable to patch the tire and had to install a replacement. On Monday evening, my tire pressure light tripped off again. I called the Vienna location again. They told me I would need to come back to their location to be provided service. As I do not live in Virginia, this would have been a great inconvenience. I instead visited the Gaithersburg location to have my tires inspected again. They discovered that my back driver side tire (the one that was just replaced the day prior) was low on air. Instead of taking the time and care to look through the tires thoroughly, they only checked for punctures and did not find any. I was sent on my way with no assistance and the problem still eminent. This morning, my tire was rapidly losing air (it lost 8 pounds over night). I was left to bring my car to another retailer. They explained that the valve was not installed properly and the tire was therefore leaking air. I was provided a new valve and yet again had to pay a cost for a job that was supposed to be finished the first time. Extremely disappointed that the job was not completed efficiently the first time and, upon second attempt that they did not complete a full check of the tire. I could have been left with a flat tire given the lack of care I was provided. I would not recommend receiving tire care from Jiffy Lube. read more

This was by far my best Jiffy Lube experience. The employees were awesome. The weather sucks! They were wet, cold and these employees were smiling the whole time! I almost skipped it because the line was so long and I'm not a patient person. But I thought I'd suck it up and braced myself for an hour visit. Didn't happen! Hit the darn curb to Flagship Car wash and my Tire immediately deflated. I drove to Maple Avenue Jiffy Lube and these guys were terrific! Nice and eager to be helpful installing the donut wheel and ordering 2 new tires. They called me at 9am to say the tires were on site - as promised.
