I had one of the worst service experiences in 20 years as a customer of Jiffy Lube. I first went to the Agoura Hills location, where I was told they didn't have the oil filter for my car and was sent to the Thousand Oaks branch. After driving there, I was met by an employee named Jose who was turning customers away. When I asked for a simple oil change, he told me there would be a 2-hour wait--which I agreed to. Then he added that only after those 2 hours would he check if they even had the correct oil filter. This is completely unacceptable. I asked him to simply scan my license plate or check the system--something that takes seconds. I've been a customer for over 20 years with 5 family vehicles, all on record. He refused. Instead, he repeatedly told me to wait 2 hours just to find out if the service could even be done, or to go to another location. This is not just bad service--it's laziness, poor attitude, and total lack of basic professionalism. Jose clearly had no interest in helping, and management at this location is just as responsible for allowing this level of incompetence. Bottom line: I will never return to this location or any Jiffy Lube again. Neither will my family, and I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid this place. This kind of business attitude should not be tolerated. read more

I called morning of for last minute appointment. I got there a bit late but only one car was being worked on. Over 5 staff members and it took 20 minutes to get help. I had a nail in my tire and they said it was non-repairable. I was left alone to take out my spare and the guy helping me disappeared for over 20 minutes. At this point it's been an hour since I've been there. I left to America's tire down street. The nail didn't go through my tire. I almost lost a good tire and got no service. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place ti anyone. America's tire down street is amazing. read more

Terrible. Did not check anything on my vehicle. Just swapped out the oil. Did not turn my dash light that indicates when I need to change my oil again, no sticker as a reminder either. Either. Even past me his iPad so I could complete all of the necessary information for my oil change. Poor attitudes as well. All around that experience. I even pulled over as soon as I left to check my oil and make sure it was changed, it was that bad. But this left at impression. read more

I had an incredible experience at Jiffy Lube in Thousand Oaks. Upon arrival, I first asked for a quote. Joe was happy to assist me. He looked at my engine to get the recommended oil type and gave me the price of $140 for full synthetic. I knew that was steep, but not having time to schedule an appointment anywhere else, I agreed. However, Joe could tell that it was more than I was hoping to pay, so he mentioned a coupon, which really helped with the cost. Not only did he change my oil and filter, but he also vacuumed my car, topped off my windshield wiper fluid, and filled my tire with air, and he did it in all under 15 minutes. I could honestly say that this was the best oil change experience that I've ever had and far better than having to leave my car at the dealership for the entire day. read more

Went to Valvoline to get an oil change and my splash guard fell off the bottom of my car. I took it to here and was greeted with excellent service. They took time to put back on the guard and install new wiper blades and didn't charge me anything. I insisted on paying but they did it for FREE. I will be coming here for future oil changes now. I was charged for a service that was not performed. I paid to have my brake fluid changed from dirty to clean two weeks ago. Today I went to replace my brake pads at a Firestone location and was told I needed to get my brake fluid changed and told it was filthy. ...???????? I returned to Jiffy Lube and the brake fluid mistake was corrected with out a financial fee. The problem is that I'm in the middle of my work day and the two hours I had to spend was a bigger expense than the brake job itself. I could have stayed at work, and made far more. No compensation for my time or the mistake was offered. I did ask for some type of compensation and was given a $10 off coupon. I do not feel this is good way to promote customer loyalty and makes me wonder if they didn't do my brake fluid right, did they even change my oil that day? This could have been handled and this post avoided. Thanks to yelp and social media business practices like this can come to light and better customer service and retention is created. read more

I found myself in a bad situation when my tires were low on air and the machine at the gas station I was using was broken. Alone and unsure what to do, I walked to this Jiffy Lube and begged the gentleman at the register for someone to help. He generously allowed Alex to come with me, where he spent a good amount of time in the summer heat (on a Friday afternoon) helping me get air into my tires despite the broken machine. He was unbelievably kind, helpful and patient. We eventually were able to get over to Jiffy Lube where he was quickly and easily able to get the rest of the air into my tires, then checked everything over to make completely sure my car was good to go. Words can't express how grateful I am for Alex's help and the kindness of everyone I've encountered at this location! I would absolutely go out of my way to this specific location in the future, it's super rare these days to find such great service and such kind and caring people. read more

If you want a standard oil change, cool. But during their multi-point inspection I was told my brakes were metal to metal. I'd heard no squealing, and I'd been told recently I still had a decent amount of life remaining. I was then quoted $400 per axle... my brakes are extremely simple, press in calipers. I'm a woman, and also, a jet engine mechanic, so I decided to go to brakes.com and buy my own set for $220, and do it myself. So here I am today, changing these brakes, that are certainly not metal to metal. I'm a little rusty, but it only took me 2 hours and saved me $600. Thanks Jiffy Lube. read more

If it was possible to leave a more negative review I would. I am in charge of a fleet of 2 Toyota siennas, 1 Toyota highlander, and 2 ford transit vans, and I've have them serviced all over SoCal for years at many different Jiffy Lube locations. I use the Shell small business card which is partnered with jiffy lube. I arrived at 2:00pm sharp, no prior call. The bay used to do work other than oil changes was half closed with no one inside. The oil change bay was also empty, after I walked over to both and began saying " hello ? Hello?" Over and over, no one was there. Only after did I walk through a door labeled employees only was I able to find the ONE employee. I asked if they were open since everything seemed shut down without a customer in sight. He replied "oil change ? Give me key" in a rather dismissive way. I just turned around and left, and went to the jiffy lube up the street, for a far better experience. Don't waste your time with the incompetent staff, and that's IF you can find one. read more

Really disappointed in this location. I even called to speak to Marvin thats been handling my car and promised they hand tighten the oil plug. I usually do my own oil changes and they were the last company to do the last two oil changes. My plug looks stripped now and I can't even get it to open even with an extended bar. I called to speak with Marvin and he said they couldn't let me come in to have them loosen it without getting an oil change. Good oil change service with knowledgeable staff. They have an efficient team. Did a good evaluation of the car and informed me about my vehicle's functionality. They told me 45 minutes for three service items and achieved that goal precisely! It's easy to drive into the garage and start the service there. Came to get an oil change and transmission fluids taken care of, they let me know I needed a new battery and were not pushy about it. They gave us a couple minutes to think it over and realize that it was actually the best deal for us to add on. Anthony was super friendly and the team (Andres and Christian are also mentioned on my paperwork) worked promptly around us (they had us sit in the car during service)!
