I was charged $88 for the oil change and an additional $60 for some fuel injector cleaner because I don't believe they took the coupon off. I asked for a receipt and the guy in charge told me that the receipt would be in my email. I never received the receipt in my email. I then call the Valvoline customer service line. I talked to them and they said yeah, we will get you a receipt right out to you in your email on file. I told them I felt that I was overcharged. I couldn't see the charges. They never sent the receipt! I will never again go there. First of all, the guy never put the fuel injector cleaner in my car and he made it a different name like it was something special and all it was was a bottle fuel injector cleaner you can get for $10 at AutoZone. And kind of pressured me to buy other items and upgrade products I didn't need. Then went to tell me that I needed windshield wiper blades which I knew was a lie because I just replaced them like a month ago. They never gave me a receipt for the services I paid for. That alone is a violation when I feel I was overcharged with a coupon. Total costs was like $155 total, for oil change and fake fuel injector cleaner. Poor customer service in not giving me a receipt, and me lied to me about my windshield wiper blades, and pressure to buy other services, I won't be going to Valvoline ever again.

There was plenty of workers for this first day. I received the normal Valvoline service I received at other service stations. What was weird was being called "Boss" constantly throughout the visit. The value is the only question... I used an online coupon, but the price still seemed high, but this seems to be the going trend. The building is new and with many employees cleaning as I pulled in- the place was very clean. I got my oil changed and the quick surface inspection found a back window wiper needed replaced. They coached me on clearing the oil change indicator and I went home.

I pulled off the lot and my car did a jerking motion like it was backfiring. an hour later the malfunction warning signal and all the dashboard lights came on. My car shut off while in idle three times. I called the shop and drove it back to them and it shut off three times while driving. I was told by the worker they may have knocked wires loose from the maf while taking out the air filter , which was never requested. I told the guy changing my oil I didn't want anything extra but the oil change. The man at this shop said it was nothing they can do even though nothing was going on with my car prior to me bringing it to them. Now my car will barley make it up the street, its vibrating, shaking, and won't stay running. It stops at every light and while sitting. Then they proceed to " offer" me the option to change the air filter "to see if that helps". Little did I know it was not offered to help rectify the damage they caused because o had to pay an additional $30 on top of the $90 oil change. How convenient To "offer" the one item I originally refused as the fix to the problem. This place is sketchy and damaged my car and won't take accountability. This place deserves zero stars

Michael M 9 reviews·2 photos just now NEW Service: Steering & suspension replacement They put on the parts wrong the cvs axle was loose making a popping noise so loose that could caused serious accident and damage to my transmission. The rotor they put on wrong. It was constantly grinding which tore up brake pad. So after second taking it to meineke to fix the problem with no resolution. I took it for second opinion to obriens auto care they could literally push on car and hear popping sound with it just sitting there. They put it on lift so I could see it for myself that cvs axle was so loose it could be moved just by touching on it was not secured to transmission it literally moved around everytime you touched on axle. Meineke put my life in danger by not doing the jobright and caused damage to my brake pad and cost me money having replace this stuff all over again. But before I had work redone I took it back to meineke for third time and even told them I took it to another shop the axles loose and the rotor is grinding please fix it. they came.back told me nothing's wrong you may need new struts this after taking it three times being told.nothing was wrong They refused to fix it said nothing was wrong there work was tight. So again I went back to obriens for a second time and had them lift it up on the lift and I had video recording of how loose the axle was you could literally moved it with your hand back and forth. I called meineke and I said I have video now showing that work you did was wrong will you please fix what you messed up they told me no I trust my mechanic over you and hung up on me. So I missed out on money working cause they couldn't fix my car right I had pay to replace the cvs axle t and i had replace rotor a second time. Stay clear of here I need speak to owner about getting reimbursed for cost of having to pay to have this done right there is no excuse for this poor work that was done on my car. Update I called to try get this resolved like the owner said to do on the comment. The manager who hung up on me refused accept responsibility even after video

I went to the Shrewsbury location at Laclede Station and Watson (where the White Castle used to be) since I was in the neighborhood. I had a 25% off coupon from their website. As soon as I pulled up they greeted me with a bottle of water and asked if I needed a tire rotation, too. I declined the tire rotation, but was glad for the water. They immediately looked up the car on CarFax and knew the high-mileage oil we prefer. They suggested a coolant flush, but didn't push when I declined, though they did offer additional discounts on it. I couldn't believe how quickly they worked! All three people I interacted with were courteous and friendly and communicated clearly without the superiority women sometimes encounter in the auto care sphere. I appreciated that. They provided me with a loyalty card (five oil changes to earn one free) and a discount card to share with a friend or family member for 25% off for both of us. They offered another bottle of water for the road and I was on my way in under 20 minutes. I'll be back,

I didn't wait too long before it was my turn. I was told which options they had. I decided on the middle tier synthetic oil since it was good for high miles.
