I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Delta Sonic in West Seneca…read more I visited this location seeking assistance with my vehicle and expected to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. During a conversation about my car, I asked questions and admittedly interrupted the employee while he was explaining something. Instead of responding professionally, the manager spoke to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner, saying, "Are you going to let me talk and have me explain to you what you can do about your car?" It wasn't just what was said, but how it was said. The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone in a customer-facing leadership position. I was shocked to learn that the individual speaking to me this way was actually the manager of the location. I understand that communication can sometimes become frustrating, but a manager should have the professionalism, patience, and people skills to handle those situations respectfully. Customers should never feel talked down to or belittled when asking questions about their own vehicle. I hope Delta Sonic takes customer service seriously and addresses this issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location until there is a noticeable improvement in how customers are treated.

Absolutely shameful. I've had bad experiences at other MONRO locations but this is a new low and…read morethe last time I'll ever visit one of their locations. Here is a timeline of events for my visit to this particular location: Day 1 at ~10:30am: I drop my car off for its appointment, which was scheduled online for a 9a-11a dropoff window. I notified the attendant that the previous year's inspection at the Penfield MONRO center had noted rear brake pads were barely a pass. I also asked for inspection of the front brake pads. Day 1 at 5:14pm: I receive a call telling me that my filter isn't in stock, but will be in the next day. The brake work has not been completed. I agree to let my car stay overnight. Day 2 at 9:51am: I receive a call asking me what my car was brought in for (!). Apparently none of this information was translated over to the next day's staff. I'm informed they won't be able to complete an inspection because no certified inspector will be on site that day. Day 2 at 12:33pm: I receive a call telling me that miraculously, my brake pads are practically new and don't need replaced, which of course makes no sense. I'm told they will do the oil/filter change and call me when it's finished. Day 2 at 4:11pm: Having heard nothing and knowing the store closes at 5pm, I call and ask what the deal is. I'm told that the store tried calling me earlier (I have no missed calls or voicemails). I'm then told that ACTUALLY my brake pads do need replaced, but of course it's too late to do it today. Day 2 at ~4:30pm: I pick up my car and I need it the following day. After paying for the oil change, I get in my car to see that the mechanic has left it filthy, with grime and boot marks along the driver's side mat and door panel. Unorganized, unprofessional, unworthy of future business. tl;dr this MONRO location had my car for two full days, somehow did nothing but change the oil, and left my car filthy.

They seemed disorganized, though I left there happy. Jake was helpful and friendly, and once it was communicated to the staff that yes indeed, I needed an oil change, it didn't take very long to get in and out. My biggest complaint was that it was really overpriced. Something like $70-dollars for an oil change I can get at Delta Sonic for $25 less. I'll probably head there or to my dealer next time I need the oil changed.

When I got out of my car, I decided to mark one of the tires to make sure that they did do the tire rotation. I also had a brake light out and told them to change that bulb. After several hours, they told me my inspection failed because my windshield wipers were broken and my brake light on my hatchback was not working. They wanted $177 to change the lightbulb on the hatchback. I said no and I told them that I just gotten the windshield wipers from advanced auto a few months ago so I'm gonna go back there to see if they can fix it or if they could give me a discount on other ones. I picked up my car and noticed that the tire was still in the same place I told the manager he apologized and said he would do it himself right now. Took my car, went to a store and then went to advanced auto. Ask the sales clerk if you could check my windshield wiper and fix it or can we get a new one. He came out and looked at the wiper. He said they failed you on this the little cap at the end. It was literally missing. He said I can give you a free cap and put it on there for you. I asked him if he can look at the brake light that they said wasn't working and he pulled it out and he said it was broken and there's a piece of tape holding it up. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked and angry. He told me too turn the car on and step on the break which I did and he said the light is working. I couldn't believe it. That's what they said wasn't working and failed me on that also. I drove back to the Firestone, which is at McKinley Mall in Blasdell NY but they were closed already I went the next day and asked for the manager, but he wasn't there and spoke to another person and explained to him everything that happened. He insisted they did not break the light. It might've been there from before gave me all these excuses and then he said go in the car and turn the brake on. I did and he said that light is working but the left one isn't I said are you freaking kidding me? That's the one that I paid you guys $60 to fix and that's not fixed also he told me to come back that they would fix it I am so infuriated. I did not want to go back there. I called corporate and told him what happened. They filed a claim and told me someone will call me within 48 hours. The person that called me was the manager from the store. I told him that I don't want them to service the vehicle. I want to service it somewhere else and they can pay for it and I'm waiting for corporate to call me back. I called corporate again. They told me that they'll escalated to the regional manager and he'll call me back within 48 hours. I call back at the end of the second day since he hadn't called me back and they said oh it's not 48 hours yet so I waited till the following day that point it was 72 hours since I still hadn't gotten a call from the regional manager. They assured me that they were concerned about the matter and I would hear from somebody. We did another 48 hours still no one called me back called one more time. At this point, it was almost the end of the month and I needed to have my car fixed so I had no choice but went back to them to get it fixed. They fixed it and I have yet to have a call from the regional manager. The technician even apologized himself, but I'm not sure what he was apologizing for that he didn't do his job or that he purposely did all this or did didn't do what he was supposed to do. Assistant supervisor that day gave me excuses as to oh it could happen. We're human mistakes happen. One mistake, happens three do not just happen. I told her I would've let it go at this point however since I have not gotten a call from the regional manager, I will be writing reviews everywhere and also I will contact New York State inspection to let them know that they are purposely failing people so they can charge their money to fix things that don't need fixing. Disgusted and I should've read all these review reviews before I went to them. I can't believe they're still in business too.
