Came in at the end of August for a coolant flush. Was told that I needed a new thermostat and that they had one and could get the work done in less than an hour. Hopped back in my car and 3 blocks down the road the car over heated. Nursed it back to the shop and was told that the crew didn't properly burp the system and that it was fixed. Drove 5 miles out of town and the car drastically overheated to the point of not being able to drive. Car had to be towed to a mechanics. Mechanics said that the thermostat that jiffy put in was defected and they should have been able to tell before they put it in. We've been in communication with Noah for 2 months about the refund and have yet to receive it. He has acknowledged that a refunded is warranted and has said it has been processed but it has not reappeared. read more

I went in for new brakes - turns out I needed new front rotors too (I paid a pretty penny). I also got an oil change. I was desperate to get the brakes changed asap. I was super grateful because, unlike other shops I called, Jiffy Lube was able to get me in right away. Within 1.5 hours, I was able to pick up my car and go. Also, I heard they had two staff members quit. Pat was new and trying to run the front, while Noah was slammed ensuring all jobs got addressed. Despite this, they handled everything with finesse. If I could give this place no stars, I would. I took my car there to get new brakes and brake pads and they completely butchered it. I've been trying to get a refund for months now so I can get new brakes AGAIN and filed a claim with the BAR as well. But even after winning that case they're still unresponsive regarding the refund. PROCEED WITH CAUTION The people are genuinely nice but the quality of service I received really made me question their business practices. Came in for routine oil change back in March and some diagnostics for an oil pressure sensor light in my car a week after. They got my car into the bay relatively soon and this is where the grace ends for this crew. My car is under warranty and the crew knew that from previous visits on diagnostics for minor issues. For the oil change, things seemed smooth at first, by the end... boy was I wrong. Got the oil change issue resolved in under a hour (oil pan housing was cracked and I had a oil pressure light on) but diagnostic for the oil pressure sensor took almost a hour and a half by itself. Store manager decided to lift my car and replace parts before getting explicit approval. This was the first line crossed when they took it upon themselves to turn a diagnostic into a repair without informing me. The store manager informed me after the car was already lifted that he had replaced some parts they put on from my previous oil change plus a sensor they thought was faulty. I could have spoken up here but at this point, the work was already done without permission. Eager to leave after being at the store for 2 hrs, I drive my car home and can tell something was off. To my surprise I got home and realized my car's skid plate / undercarriage plate was gone! Called the store back and was told that it was accidentally placed in another customer's truck bed and they had just returned it shortly ago. At this point, a little annoyed but understanding of an innocent mistake, I go back and have them put the plate back on. Once back at the shop, I sit there another hour because the technicians had lost all of the factory bolts for my skid plate even though I have been gone less than a hour. I was told by the technicians and the store manager that my car's skid plate bolts where OEM and the bolts had to be order from the AutoZone next door. Fast forward sometime later that week and I'm driving down the 163S to get to work and my car is making a dragging noise on the highway as if something had come half apart. After pulling over and taking a look to see what's going on, I realized that the "OEM bolts" they put back on from AutoZone were actually 2 zip ties! Furious, I finish up my drive to work and call them after my workday...... let's just say, no one answer the phone and I had to drive up to the store to let the manager know what had happened! He told me their phone lines had been down and that he would handle the issue through his cellphone personally. Thinking that the situation was in good hands, I got his information and went about my day. Let's just say, communication with the manger has been spotty at best with the manager not responding back on updates from 5-14 days at a time between responses. I gave them initially almost a month if not longer to figure out how to process a claim of this nature and ultimately was told by said manager that working with my dealership and having the parts and labor reimbursed would be a faster approach........ At the time of writing, it's been almost 6 months later and I've yet to be reimbursed or get a status update on my claim/process at all. At one point, I brought receipts at the managers request and was told my claim would be filed right then. Let's just say, I got a text 2 weeks later asking to bring all of my initial receipts back to the store because the manager was temporarily assisting another Jiffy lube location and all of my initial receipts/information had been tossed while he was gone AND the claim hadn't been filled! Since then, I've asked this manager for several updates and was told that this issue would be followed up on and I've heard crickets! This is with almost 2 week check-ins for almost 6 months and so far we've gotten nowhere! Please be very observant of what type of work is being done on your vehicle while you're there and make sure they are checking in on what's happening and what's been agreed to. If I could give a zero star review I would. read more

BEWARE: I came in for an A/C coolant charge and the manger drained my A/C of coolant and said I had an electrical issue that needed fixed. I stated that I did not want them to work on my car. I had my coolant filled at another business and my A/C worked fine. I heard about several bad experiences with the manager trying to do with mechanical work and repairs from friends and family, but I had previously had good experiences with oil changes and coolant recharges. read more

At first, I was stoked that a Jiffy Lube was so close to work. I can walk there within 10 minutes, and thought I had found the place where I would be able to get any necessary work done. They seemed nice when I showed up. I had to get back to work, and felt comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. I was getting brakes, and knew it would take a while, but it seemed like a perfect choice. I was told it would be ready by 4. That worked into my schedule perfectly. I showed up right around 4 to pick up my vehicle. When I walked in Gwendolyn was cashing another customer out. I was not greeted. I assumed when she was done, I'd be helped, but she promptly walked out of the room. I assumed she was going to get my technician. That was not the case. 4:10 came around, I still had not even been told "hello." No "we'll be right with you," no "let me go check on your vehicle," nothing. It soon became some kind of game, wondering how long it would take. A man and his two sons came in, soon after me, he seemed to get service in a "Jiffy." Gwendolyn came to let him know the status of his vehicle, and still paid me absolutely no attention. Finally, when my vehicle was finished, someone came and told me that she'd cash me out when she was done with the test drive. I know some things take more time, I understand my vehicle had a lot of work done. And it's working great now! But I sat in their office for an hour and 10 minutes, without even so much as a nod that I existed. What kind of customer service is that? Would they let a homeless person just sit there? If so, I can start letting people know that the Jiffy Lube lobby in Ramona is a great place to hang out without people harassing you. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is a joke! These jokers managed to: 1) use the wrong oil 2) get oil on the carpet 3) rip my friend's seat cover. This is an impressive achievement to accomplish in the 20 minutes we were there. All while messing other cars up as well. They managed to remove the oil and offered to pay for new seat covers ...once we provided them with a receipt. We went back with the receipt. The guy blamed another guy, who no longer works there, and said he will be happy to pay the nearly $300 as soon as there is enough CASH in the register. We have been back several times without any resolution. Who pays cash for an oil change these days? It looks like the only resolution will be in small claims court unless they respond to this, or contact Murphy directly with some cash. Actually a check would be fine, as long as it clears! My advice is to go elsewhere and save yourselves! read more

I drove my husbands truck to Jiffy Lube in Ramona, Ca it had been 5000 miles since the oil and fluids had been changed. The manager checked the oil and fluids said truck didn't need an oil change, all fluids were fine. I think I better get another opinion very odd after 5000 miles. I wasted my time at Jiffy Lube in Ramona. Isn't that why they put a sticker on your window to remind to come in for an oil change after 5000 miles. Won't be going back to that Jiffy Lube. read more

Our company has a fleet account with jiffy lube for over 1,000 vehicles all over California. I've never had an issue getting serviced. They refused my vehicle because there advertisement banner that is zip tied to the bay is too low and would not allow the height of my vehicle to enter. This has happened one other time where my vehicle would hit the advertisement banner. In that situation the employees remove the zip ties android allow me to drive through. You figure you would atleast have one bay that doesn't have advertisement banners to allow taller vehicle. If you are adamant on not removing the bottom Banner attachments. When I called and talked to the manager he refused to accommodate and said they would not just move banners for one vehicle. Was kind of rude and said if I have a problem to contact my fleet manager, or owner of My company. I will never bring a vehicle to this branch of jiffy lube and I recommend you don't either. Literally drove to the next Jiffy lube, @13409 Poway rd and they were super helpful and accommodating. I explained what happened and they apologized. I highly recommend this location.... Just drive a lil farther and get wayyy better service. This is not a knock on jiffy lube as a whole... It's a knock on the Ramona location. read more

When the Jiffy Lube first opened in Ramona I was one of their first customers. I came in for an oil change and ended coming back for new spark plugs and other slightly expensive engine work. Last month I had an oil change and some other recommended work. I really enjoy their lovely cool waiting room with a tv with lots of channels. We'll.... that's when everything good stopped. My husband and I came in for an oil change in his car. We were told that they were short handed and they couldn't take us. Not even an offer to wait. Today I came in for an oil top off and a radiator check. I got the same treatment. I was told his mechanic was busy with a project. Also no offer to wait. I'm not usually a complainer, but this treatment really bothered me. You would think that a first-come-first-serve business would make sure their regulars are taken care of. About a month a ago, After having a tire rotation and oil change, I knew something was wrong. A lady flagged me down on old Milky hwy saying that my tire was wobbling. I took it back to this jiffy lube where the manager didn't check me in; to keep it off the books. The mechanic checked it, and stated everything looked fine. Yesterday my car began making a grinding / crunching sound on 67 coming up the hill. In my head my car barely made it home from work. I took my car to action auto this morning, where the mechanic stated that due to the previous work I had - 3 lug nuts missing - on my right wheel that was about to fall off. Damage to my left wheel axle, and about $900 worth of parts and labor. This location is Negligent / damaged my car. It is extremely concerning that given the location, you'd you think they'd be especially concerned with securing a wheel to the axle, but apparently not. read more

Recently I decided to roll the dice and allow Jiffy Lube in Ramona, CA to service my trucks. Both Joeseph and Marc were incredible! No upselling or pressure, just the facts! Found some additional issues with my differential and brake fluid that had not been addressed would have cost me thousands. I saw it with my own eyes. These folks are the real deal! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. This experience has been a real eye opener for me. Handed down best company ever. I enjoyed sitting in the air condition lobby, charging my cell phone, watching TV. Oil change was quick, professional, and the cost was affordable, I also had a coupon.. which I loved. What makes this company stand out for me was Mario. I noticed there were some wet spots in my driveway and I thought my car was leaking oil due to the plug not being put in properly. Mario came out quickly the same morning I called went underneath my car, checked everything out and let me know that I having an exhaust leak. Nothing to do with the oil change. Jiffy lube this one in particular has amazing service. They made me extremely comfortable from the moment i drove into the garage . I was content with sitting in my car but they gave me the grand service . I was instructed by Cindy to chill out in the lobby which was spotless . And then she handed me the remote so i could watch Netflix while they serviced my car . By this point i was already astounded by the modern lobby but to top it off Marc came in and offered me a taco from Taco Bell. I would like to give a huge shout out to Ricardo and his team in Jiffy Lube they gave my mother outstanding service on here vehicle today as she was getting ready to leave out of state , I would also like to apologize to Ricardo and his team for the older guy in the truck I heard all the horrible things he was saying about getting a free oil change and its too easy since they are nothing but kids , The customer service rep that cashed out my mom was assisting the old guy on finding a solution for his dilemma it was clear that his intentions were not positive since as the customer service rep went back inside the office to call his manager to return back from lunch but this is what I didn't like and the thing that I will not be quite about as the older guy and was left alone in his truck while the rep was calling his manager to return I overheard him talking to whoever it was he was speaking to on the phone that and I quote " This is too easy " that right then is wen I lost it I mean how can you be this angry when everything these young men are doing is providing solutions , Well the manager arrives ( Ricardo ) and went straight to his rep and emmediately came back out o speak to the guy in the truck he introduced himself and wanted to figure out a solution the amount of discounts and explanation given was outstanding but turns out that wasn't enough for the older guy , Throughout the whole conversation the older guy was basically turning red and screaming ,Personally I would've smacked him across the face but what Ricardo did was amazing he kept his composure and maintained all professionalism the old guy at the end said he will no longer be returning to Jiffy Lube and for that I would like to say to Ricardo and his team that isn't a loss but more like a gain since I will be returning with my vehicle and will make my boyfriend do the same with his car so you lost a bad egg but u gained 2 more NEW customers in return read more
