I recently visited this location after a disastrous engine oil topup that almost got my engine hydrolocked. Check engine light was on and the car drives really funny which these guys correctly diagnosed as engine misfire and told me to my surprise that all I needed was a fresh oil change, some new spark plugs and coil pack for one of the cylinder. This, without a doubt would otherwise cost me sooo much more if I took the car somewhere else. With the new covid protocol, I was inside the car the wholetime they were working on it and the whole crew was always courteous and kept me updated. They also showed me the OBD scan result directly which proves they weren't trying to hard sell me anything. I think honesty is the most important virtue for an auto shop and boy do I believe they have it! A+ to you guys. FYI: Jiffy Lube can now replace/service your spark plugs, coil packs, etc besides the regular oil change. read more

I used to HATE going to Jiffy Lube. I dreaded waiting in their lobby knowing that they would try and up-sell me on services I didn't need or want. THINGS SEEM TO HAVE CHANGED at Jiffy Lube!!! I've been going to this location for years. Never longer than 25 minutes in and out. No pushy sales, but point out safety issues. My break light was out and fixed, with oil change, took no time at all and reasonably priced. The quality service is always more than polite, courteous, and honest. Honesty. Integrity. Great Customer Service. I have been to this location twice. The first time to change the oil on my mother's car. The gentleman checked the oil and told us the oil was fine and to come back when the service light came on. Not only did we appreciate their honesty, but they went ahead and checked the tire pressure, fluids and lights complementary just because we were there anyway! I normally take my car to the dealership, but because I was so impressed with their integrity and CS, I took my car in today when my engine light came on. They gave me options, showed me my dirty air filter and told me honestly that it could go until my next oil change but that is when I would really need to switch it out. Again, same great customer service as the last time! Great prices and to top it off, they also have coupons online as well! I have never been so excited to go pay for an oil change and have never left so happy after one! You have a customer and a fan for life! read more

Despite what the website says, this location does not do brakes. I specifically looked on the jiffy lube website for a location that would be able to replace my brake pads, and this was the nearest to me. However, when I arrived they said they don't do anything with brakes here. read more

I have been there 3 times in the last month with my kids cars. They are efficient, friendly and fast.

This is an update to my review from three days ago. Discovered that the passenger side tires were overinflated to 44psi while the driver side tires were 34psi. It's almost as if they totally failed to check tire pressure on the other side, not that they needed to seeing as how the preferred psi for all of my tires is 35. I'm not sure if they actually measure the tire pressure or if they eyeball it, but when the tire is overinflated like that it diminishes the integrity of the tire and causes it to prematurely deteriorate. I'm no expert with cars but I know enough that when the manufacturer says to inflate your tires at a certain level it's probably for a good reason. I'm not happy about this most recent experience as I spent 20 minutes deflating and making sure the pressures were what they needed to be. I'm not sure if I'll be going back. read more

We take both our cars here regularly for oil changes. They are friendly, quick and do good work. They do run the typical vehicle maintenance schedules but are not pushy with other sales or services. They only thing I don't like is their waiting room never feels super clean. They have coffee and frozen slurpee type drinks. It's not what I'd call dirty, but just doesn't feel clean. So it's nice that I'm never there long. Go before 10am and get $10 off your oil change. read more

So we were driving across the country as part of a 6,000-mile road trip this summer. About mid-way through the trip, as expected, the car needed an oil change. We happened to be in Olathe, KS at the time, enjoying Oklahoma Joe's BBQ. So I hit up my navigation for the nearest oil change spot and ended up here... When I arrived, there was one car in a bay. The other two bays were open. I pulled up to an open bay and went inside to wait. It seemed like they only had one employee working. It was a weekday early afternoon, but still. I was told "I'll be right with you" about 6 or 7 times throughout the course of my wait. The wait ended up being 45 minutes before they even checked my car into the system. And no one else showed up to Jiffy Lube during those 45 minutes. I guess the locals know better. Once my car was jacked up, it sat there for another 45 minutes with very little activity happening. I was only in for an oil change, nothing else. I can do my own oil change in 10 minutes, but it apparently takes these clowns almost an hour to do a single vehicle. After the oil change came the upselling. They insisted that I needed a differential service on a 15,000-mile vehicle. I kid you not. They were very pushy and insistent on this. This vehicle has never towed anything in its life. I might consider replacing the differential fluid at 50,000 miles but not a moment before then. Once they realized there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and that they couldn't convince me to buy any of their additional unnecessary service, they promptly increased the rate for the oil change which had already been done. According to them, the promotional rate which I agreed on initially was not actually valid on my vehicle. So the amount of the initial estimate was voided and I ended up paying more. So no matter what you do, these guys will find some way to screw you. Total time from start to finish was a solid 2 hours. I wish I had taken the extra time to find a dealership in the area. It would have been cheaper and quicker. But you live and learn. read more

I knew what to expect from Jiffy Lube...but it still stunk. I completely misjudged my driving patterns ahead of a road trip (well, my driving patterns changed) so I needed to get a oil change pronto and my usual places couldn't get me in, so I decided to go to Jiffy Lube for the first time. I pulled in and waited in the fairly comfortable waiting room. About 15 minutes later my car actually got in to the garage, and about 15 minutes later they pulled me out to start doing the hard sells. Very uncomfortable. I just kept saying no, but they made me feel like a horrible car owner (far from it) who will suffer from my cheapness (I am far from cheap on my car...I just don't want them doing the fixes). The worst part? For all of that hard selling, it was more expensive than when my wife got an oil change the next day at the Honda dealer (and without the guilt and hard sells). Yeah, that's right folks, MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE DEALER. How often do you hear those words? Don't bother. Plan your oil changes a few days ahead and take it someplace else for a more pleasant experience. read more

I forgot my coupon, but they gave it to me anyway. Nice! The comfy chairs in the lobby weren't a bad place to hang out for a few minutes either. Caleb and crew working may 7 at 135th St Oveeland Park KS were so polite and knowledgeable. I like being able to stay in my car. They checked everything as far as lights and tire pressure. They were quick and competent. I really like going there. They have never pushed anything on me. They understand my car is newer with not many miles. I appreciate that. My only problem is the convenience is now too expensive for me. I probably won't go back even though I've been several times and it was great and especially great with COVID. Even with coupons it runs $65 or more. Without coupons it could be in the $80's easy. My car does take hood oil but I can go to other places still using same oil for a lot less without a coupon. With each oil change they do a thorough once over of the vehicle and ensure all fluids are topped off. Between oil changes you can swing by any time for air in your tires or fluid top offs! My husband and I took our 2013 Ford Escape to Jiffy Lube for an oil change. During services the rep informed us that it was time for an transmission flush. He stated it is recommended that we get a transmission flush every 30,000 miles. We declined the service at that time. Later, I contacted a trusted car mechanic and he stated we should not need a transmission flush this early on a 2013 Ford Escape with only 51,000 miles. Then I looked into the owner manual and it is recommended that we get a transmission flush every 150,000 miles unless we drive a lot on dirt roads, reside in a dusty environment, or tow on a regular basis. The information above was not mentioned by the service rep. The Jiffy Lube we visited is located in Olathe, KS (suburb of Kansas City). I do not know of any dirt roads in our area and since I live in a suburb we have pretty normal conditions. I have no explanation of whythe service rep would recommend a transmission flush except for making money. This location and company has probably cheated several individuals out of money by lying and stating they need a transmission flush when in actuality it would not be need. After this interaction I have decided to take my service else where even if I do have to spend the extra money for an oil change. I do not believe in giving money or supporting an company that would cheat their customers. Or not tell them the whole truth. read more
