Boot that's open does not fail

Make sure if you go here for inspection don't let them fool you and tell you your car fails for broken boots or broken axle or anything with your suspension because there's only a few reason why your car will fail for suspension so read this before you go so your informed about everything that really fails for inspection Also none of this fails either look at these pics cuz they will try to tell you it fails but it does not Download or read this section of how inspections work 67 Pa. Code § 175.80 because these guys are ripping ppl off saying that boots on axle fails which does not so you wanna know what really fails on your car and not get ripped off then read this pa code

Driveway had not 1 spot before oil change

12 minutes agoNEW Don't go to this jiffy lube unless you want your driveway to look like this. Oil changed 8/28/21 for routine maintenance. Car has been leaking ever since. Has been back 3 times. On 3rd time back told it is from a turbo leak unrelated to the oil change. When asked why no one saw the turbo leak before the answer was "no one probably looked up there before" thanks for nothing James. That is not ok. On my first time back after oil change someone should've actually checked the car thoroughly. Instead I was asked if it could have been water. Because I guess I look too dumb or too female to know the difference between water and motor oil. I pay $90 for oil changes at this place and I have a leaking car with no help.

The staff was friendily, knowledgable about inspections. They passed me despite an exhaust manifold crack.

WARNING: DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS BUSINESS -- RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & POSSIBLY RACIST…read moreBEHAVIOR I am writing this review because no one -- and I mean no one -- should have to experience what my family went through at Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. This place is a disgrace to the automotive industry, and the owner, Luigi, should not be in business. I brought my son's car in for inspection stickers -- something simple. Luigi kept the car for TWO WEEKS and never did any work. No inspection. No repairs. Not even a phone call. Just silence, excuses, and complete disregard for our time. During that time, my son and I had to share my car -- all while he was preparing for his high school graduation. He had graduation rehearsals, a job to get to, and so did I. This caused real stress and hardship, but Luigi didn't care. He held the car hostage without explanation. When we called for updates, he was rude and nasty every single time. After two weeks of no progress, we went to the shop in person to get answers. What happened next was appalling. As soon as I entered the building -- calmly and respectfully -- Luigi came storming through the door, screaming at me in front of my teenage son. I hadn't even said a word. He yelled, "I'll call you when it's ready!" then shouted, "Take your paperwork and your car and GET OUT!" He was angry, aggressive, and hostile, acting as though I had no right to even be there. To make things worse, his wife was just as rude, cold, and completely unprofessional. Let me be clear: I am an African-American woman, and based on how I was treated -- with open hostility, no provocation, and no professionalism -- I strongly believe this was racially motivated. Luigi spoke to me with a level of disrespect and aggression that made me feel targeted, humiliated, and unsafe. My son watched it all unfold, and it was heartbreaking. Luigi originally quoted $250 for inspection stickers -- yet no service was performed. Just two weeks of delays, verbal abuse, and a total lack of accountability. Even though I feared for my life in that moment, one thing is certain: this will be the last time Luigi ever screams at a Black woman like that without being held accountable. He may have thought he could get away with it -- but not this time. If you are a woman, a person of color, or simply someone who expects to be treated with dignity and respect, then this is not the place for you. I will never go back. I will never recommend this business. And I will make sure everyone I know stays far away from Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. There are plenty of honest, respectful mechanics out there. Luigi is not one of them. This shop does not deserve your trust, your time, or your business.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We have taken our car…read moreto the Montgomeryville Mavis location before and had a great experience with Sean, so we had no hesitation about using Mavis again. Unfortunately, after our experience at the East Norriton location, we will never return. My husband took the car in on Sunday at 9:00 AM for an inspection. He didn't leave until around 2:00 PM and was told that their inspection machine wasn't working. We understood that things happen, so we asked if they could at least take care of some other work on the car, including four new tires and an oil change. We repeatedly told the gentleman at the counter that we wanted four tires, not two. After the tires and oil change were completed, we went next door to Jiffy Lube for the inspection. The car failed because oil was leaking onto the tires and over the engine, and we were told the vehicle was unsafe to drive. So, we essentially spent $100 on an oil change only to have the car fail inspection because of an oil leak. When we returned to Mavis, we also noticed on the inspection paperwork that the lug nuts needed to be replaced. Our question is: if they were installing four new tires, why wasn't this brought to our attention at the time the tires were installed? We were then told that a thermo sensor needed to be ordered for the check-engine light. We asked them to order the part so we could return Friday and have it replaced. After contacting corporate, we were honestly disappointed with how the situation was handled. The assistant manager repeatedly told my husband, "At the end of the day, I have the final say." That may be true, but it certainly didn't make us feel like our concerns were being taken seriously. Gary ultimately offered us a $150 credit, which was enough to cover the oil-change issue and could be applied toward the sensor work. Thursday, my husband called the store to confirm that the part had been ordered and that his Friday appointment was scheduled. He specifically explained that he could be there at 10:00 AM but needed the car back by 3:00 PM because he had to pick our daughter up from school while I was at work. He arrived Friday, October 2, 2026, only to find out that the part had never been ordered and there was no appointment scheduled. There were already four cars ahead of him, and they told him they wouldn't be able to look at the car that day. At this point, this was the third trip to the store for the same issue. They said they could order the part that day, but we would have to come back Monday and make sure the manager was there. At that point, we were done. They can keep the part. They can keep the $150 credit. We will not be spending another penny at this location. This was approximately a $600 job, and instead of taking care of the customer and completing the work, we were repeatedly sent away and told to come back. What makes it even more frustrating is that Jiffy Lube next door was much busier than Mavis, and we watched the assistant manager telling customers that they could purchase parts somewhere else because they would be cheaper. As an assistant director at my own job, I understand that things don't always go perfectly. But when something goes wrong, customer service, communication, and accountability matter. I would never want someone leaving my workplace feeling the way we did after dealing with this location. Our experience with the Montgomeryville Mavis was completely different, which makes this East Norriton experience even more disappointing. East Norriton Mavis -- you have officially lost our business. We will take our car somewhere else from now on. We already called corporate office 2x and it was an absolute joke. That is how we got a hold of the GM Gary. He was no help at all either.
