Michael was so kind and amazing helping out with changing out the tire, however not a easy job as the spare tire was so old and rusted into the well. I brought my car in to have the tires rotated in Feb 2025. It's now Jul 2025 and it's time to rotate the tires again, but the lug nut key is missing, I searched the entire car. Jibby Lube did not put the lug nut key back in my car when they rotated the tires. I went back to Jiffy Lube today and I spoke to the manager and he said they didn't have the lug nut key and that I needed to get a new lug nut key from the dealer. Bad service, terrible management, bad attitude. I will not return ever again. read more

I went to the Jiffy Lube in Natick on Route 9 one time back in the summer of 2018 for a simple oil change. When I went there the guy did change my oil but didn't bother to check my tire pressure, brakes, battery, tires, lights or anything else. A couple months later I noticed I was low on engine oil and had to go back to add more oil. Sure the Jiffy Lube guys refilled my engine oil for free but didn't bother to check why I needed more oil. I then decided to take my car to my family mechanic around the corner Christo's for my next oil change. It was then determined that the guys at Jiffy Lube had given me the wrong oil filter and I was LEAKING OIL due to the Jiffy Lube guys not tightening up the drain plug. I strongly recommend Christo's Auto on Oak Street in Natick instead. Every time you go for an oil change he'll check your brakes, all oil levels and lights, tires, battery, wipers etc. and let you know exactly what you need and nothing you don't. He's extremely honest and and takes exceptional care of your car. read more

Then I called back and he was super rude, kept cutting me off before I could get an answer, and hung up on me AGAIN. I was going to bring my car here for oil changes because it's just down the street from where I live, but I will never bring my car here just because of how rudely I was treated for no reason. I strongly advise AGAINST going here. I had actually been a customer for a couple years given that it was the closest place to my work and although I agree that the employees always pushed unnecessary products and services on me, I was able to look past that for the most part. However, I just had to bring my car in to a mechanic to be serviced because the check engine light came on and when I opened the hood, I could tell oil was leaking. It turns out that the Jiffy Lube mechanics who had changed my oil several weeks earlier had failed to put the oil cap back on and oil had been splashing out over the course of several weeks. No other work had been done on the car (in fact, the hood had not been opened) since the Jiffy Lube oil change so it was obvious who had made the blunder. Although running my car on very low oil could have had a catastrophic effect on the engine, it was determined after some testing that the engine would be ok, but several oil soaked components had to be replaced. The cost was about $1,000 to me. The worst part about this is that I was treated with total disrespect and disregard by the Manager of this location, Michael Graham, who refused to accept any responsibility. I acted calmly and reasonably when I contacted him to make him aware of the issue as soon as I learned about it and before any repair or oil replacement was done to my car. After an initial phone call, he refused to return any of my other calls and only ended up emailing me an offer to refund the last oil change (which should have been the first thing he did without condition). He also blamed me for not noticing the problem sooner. All this despite the fact that I was a long time customer, within my JL warranty, and it was very obvious negligence on the part of his staff. In researching this further, I've come to learn that Jiffy Lube has a horrible reputation nationwide for exactly this kind of customer service and negligence. Okay. So I'm a big fan of Jiffy Lube in general, have always had a great experience with them. HOWEVER. The first time I went here, like the other reviewers things happened that raised flags for me, they tried to push services on me that i knew i didn't need ( had just done them) etc etc. I thought, maybe it was a bad first impression. Went back a second time, the guy at the front counter regaled me with his pot smoking stories. uh. not while you're working on my car, thank you. but they were nice enough. the third and final time I went, I was overcharged AFTER they offered me a discount! AND as i jumped in my car to pull away, the dude getting out wanted me to know that my steering wheel had problems, it was really difficult to move. . . uh. guys. it's called no power steering. crazy i know. sigh. don't go here. read more

Can I give no stars? No? Okay, then this: All previous awful reviews still apply. And I seriously wish I had made a yelp stop before giving them ANY BUSINESS. On Upselling: *** I got the usual... 'Your car needs the most expensive oil' BS. -- Handled that like a pro. Conventional oil, please. ***Then the 'You need this $80.00 service.' I received not an ounce of an explanation as to what the service was or why it was necessary. I inquired and the employee pointed at some uninteligible car part blinking on the screen and said "For winter." I still couldn't even tell you what part of the car they were going to 'fix.' ***Then on to the $120 for whatever they do with your transmission fluid. I said no and the employee says. "Oh, I'll check it for you." So they tried to sell me this service without even CHECKING out the situation! And then he shows me the color and it was barely dirty! Straight up infuriating. On Other Things: *** Another employee came to get me because my trunk wouldn't close. What? I don't know why the trunk was opened in the first place, but seriously, you couldn't jiggle the lever to get it to close, like I did? PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS. *** They only vacuumed the front seat. I don't know if this was accidental or if they skipped the back seat completely because I so vehemently declined their upsales. But half the reason I went in at all was to avoid vacuuming. This location obviously has a bad reputation judging by previous reviews, and I can understand why those people had issues with the services received (I would've, too), but I've honestly never had much of a problem here. This place is close to my work, so I usually pop in here on a lunch break or before work to get my oil changes. Sometimes I'll get other services done here as well because I don't have a mechanic I go to see regularly. Because I've been going to this location for some time (probably a few years), they're able to tell when I had services and when I need to have them done. Maybe I'm naive because I don't know much about cars, but I find this helpful and I've never felt like they were pushing unwanted services. If I didn't want to have something done, then I didn't. The waiting area is clean and has a huge selection of magazines as well as HDTV, which I appreciate. Is this the best place ever to get an oil change or other services? Probably not, but it's convenient and quick. read more

This Jiffy Joke is awful. Liars and cheats, they also damaged my car. I brought my car here because it was close to work, and I didn't feel like doing my own oil in the cold. What.a.mistake. First I was told the oil change was $29. I then told the manager that I did not want ANY ADDITIONAL services. Don't check the brakes, air filters or fluids. Just change the oil and oil filter. 5 minutes later the tech comes out with my cabin air filter tray (empty) and tells me that it doesn't have a filter but for $40 they can replace it. I found this odd as I had put a cabin air filter in the car MYSELF 8 months ago. This should have been my first clue. After arguing they finally finish the oil change and I am on my way. Somewhere along the way $29 turned into $40, and now I'm out a cabin air filter. That night I open the glove box of the car and it basically falls on the floor. The tech who performed the disappearing act with my cabin air filter didn't install the glove box damper. The little piston that stops the glove box from falling open. So I take out the glove box to find the piston is bent and cracked, obviously because it had not been installed properly, and the glove box was slammed shut. At this point I decided to go back to and talk to them. What a waste of time. After first having them try to quickly cover up the mistake by trying to shove the plastic back behind the dash, they then decided it was OK to yell and swear at me, and finally after a half hour of arguing they told me the manager would call me tomorrow. You can see where this is going... So my $29 oil change cost me $40, plus $40 for a cabin air filter, and who knows how much to replace the damaged glove box. Stay far way from this jiffy joke. And Go to the mom and pop shop down the street. read more

I'm with the thumbs down crowd. I noticed a couple of times after being here that my tires were low on air. Since topping off the air is one of the services they supposedly offer, the last time I was there I called it out as something I'd like done. I watched service the bay through the window and nobody went near the tires. At the end I told the manager I wanted the tires inflated. He insisted it had been done, lying right to my face. Before that, I've gotten summer grade windshield wiper fluid going into winter, which froze to my windscreen and forced me to pull off the highway and scrape the frozen fluid off the windscreen. Replaced it with something I bought at Sears and the problem went away. And then there's the turnover; until I quit them entirely I never saw the same crew twice. read more

I've used this Jiffy Lube location approximately 4 times over the past 4 years for regular synthetic oil changes for my 2008 Audi A4. They have done an OK job, exactly what I would expect from an oil change. Nothing titaling, nothing wrong. The cost is approxmately 2/3 to 1/2 of what my local Audi dealer charges. I have never had a wait at this location. I usually go "off hours" but if it's going to be busy I call ahead to see if there is a line and I've been given accurate information form the clerk on whether now is a "good time" or not. The waiting room has 1 TV for waiting customers to share and lots of magazines to pass the time. Oil changes here take 10-20 minutes. Overall, a solid 3/5. nothing special, but nothing bad either. read more

This place is a total ripoff, they tell you things need to be done that don't need to be done. They told me my tires needeed to be rotated, well just before I went to Jiffy Lube I was at NTB also on Needham St and bought a new set of tires. They showed me the air filter, it was not pure white but it had been replaced 4 months ago and certainly didn't need to be replaced at all. HORRIBLE service. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and they told me I needed to recharge my AC. I told them my car didn't have an AC in it but they reassured me it did and it'd only take 15 minutes to do and was only $120. I kept telling them I didn't have an AC but maybe since I am a female they thought they could take advantage of me. Never checked or topped off any fluids, never offered to clean the windows. It doesn't appear that the oil filter was changed and oil still looks dirty. I don't even think synthetic was used. That was what was purchased. Stay away!!! read more

These guys suck. I went in to get my oil changed, and the guy asked me if he wanted me to check the air filter. I said yes, and he lifted up the case very aggressively after unscrewing it and cracked the plastic. Then, he lost one of the screws. Right in front of my eyes! Then the manager was impossible. He told me he'd give me fifteen dollars back, which is hardly anything, and then once we got inside he tried to talk me down. What a schmuck!!! Been going here for 12-18 months now, and would (and have) recommended to people I know looking for an oil change or some other non-OEM service. What do we all want from a mechanic/anyone who services our car? Transparency (not just honesty), timeliness, expertise, and good service. Check, check, check, check. I'm always told an estimated time of completion, they are always SOONER than that, and always call to say they've finished early, BUT I can come in at the scheduled time if that's still most convenient. Prices are transparently presented up front, and I've yet to pick up the car and pay a price different from the # established prior to the work. Bobby was even nice enough to inform me about the 90 day/3K top off service that works at EVERY Jiffy Lube. I've gone to other franchises in the Boston area and was never told this. To tell me that I should be getting a free oil top off instead of paying for oil changes/topping it off myself was awesome! Go there. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Jiffy Lube to begin with, but it's for the most part convenient so that's why I keep coming back. But today will be the ABSOLUTE last time. I checked out the website and saw that they were open until 7pm, perfect I left work early and arrived at 6.30pm. Upon arrival was told by the less than friendly worker that they were closed. When I went ahead and pointed out that it was only 6.30pm, he said that the bays were full and they weren't going to help me, I could wait around until 7pm and see that they wouldn't be finished. Is it just me or is it that if you arrive somewhere before they actually close they need to help you? I just called the Jiffy Lube customer service line and waited on hold for 17 minutes before I could even speak with someone. We'll see if I'm ever contacted by the Franchise owner. Luckily enough there is a Valvoline down the road that I'll go to tomorrow morning! read more

Great Service, in and out in 15 minutes early on a Sunday morning. The crew was very polite and did not push any service upgrades on me. In fact the technician showed me that my air filter was "perfect". I actually had it changed a week prior to the oil service so I knew it was good to go and was happy to see that these guys are honest. Really happy with this service and courtesy from the staff. Went in for an oil change. They told me I needed new brake pads so I agreed. $270 later.... As I was leaving my check tire pressure light came on saying they were 60PSI way higher then they are meant (usually 37!!). I got out and asked and they told me it was what it should be for the weight. My tires literally say max PSI 51 on them. So I released air on my own so I didn't explode a tire when driving because that can happen if your tires are too full. Also when driving home my oil showed 60%. Exactly what it was when I went in, so I'm assuming they didn't actually change it. Won't go back and don't think anyone else should go either! read more

Jiffy Lube Newton Upper Falls, you will never get my business again. The former manager Michael G, was very nice in trying to address my AC which was blowing warm. They re-charged the system and it failed 2 days later. He tried again and decided the repair was beyond his shops' capabilities, he offered to refund me the $120, very generous...I thought, I will reward this store with my loyalty and come here for oil changes for my 2 cars... I never got the refund, that was May of 2011, today is March 11, 2012. I followed up with Michael, who is now the manager of the Lowell store and he was very polite on my 10 follow up calls, mentioning that the paperwork had been filed and I would receive the refund. Still nothing. I sent 2 letters to the local Jiffy Lube and one to their corporate office (like they care if a franchisee refunds money...) but made best effort. No response whatsoever! Nice customer service, eh? Hey, even if you don't want to refund the money that your manager committed to, how about at least responding? In the meantime, I found a great mechanic on craigslist, who travels to me, reasonable, great service, shows up and doesn't lie to me... read more

I'm a bit surprised by the negative reviews this place has received. I've been here probably 4 or 5 times, and I haven't had any issues with the people. They do get a bit busy at times, especially on the weekends, so you might end up waiting about half an hour or so. Before they start the oil change, they bring you out into the garage and review requested services (i.e. oil change) and then some recommended services based on the mileage and year of your car. With my older car (and my fiancee's) we were usually recommended a few things to be done. Usually it involved changing the air filter or maybe rotating the tires. Once they said I should get my transmission fluid "flushed", which is the only thing that I don't like (you can read up on reviews that discourage doing the flush). But I never felt overly pressured. With my newer car, all they recommended was changing the air filter, but he said that it could probably just wait until the next oil change. Also I would recommend checking your Owner's Manual for when to get your oil change. Jiffy Lube in general will tell you to get your oil changed at 3,000 miles for conventional oil or 5000 miles for synthetic. My manual, on the other hand, recommends every 7500 miles or 6 months. Just something to keep in mind. Overall, I found the place to be an acceptable one and I haven't had any issues with it. As a bonus, unlike other Jiffy Lubes I've been to, this one also has been pretty good about vacuuming and washing my windows. This is included in the oil change, but many of the Jiffy Lubes I've been to skip it (presumably to move on to the next car in line). read more

I have visited this location several times for oil service (including the free top-offs) and/or bulb replacements. The service has always been professional, prompt, and courteous. Most recently, I took my car in because a bulb was out. They didn't carry the exact bulb I needed, so they referred me to Autozone. I bought the bulb at Autozone and came back to Jiffy Lube two days later to have it installed. Installation was done quickly, cheerfully, and AT NO CHARGE. My attempts to pay were repeatedly declined because I had brought my own bulb. Will definitely keep coming back! read more

I was in recently and I have gone to this location in the past and they simply change the oil, I pay them $35 or so and we're done. I always refuse all that other stuff that they try to sell me as they can tell that I am never interested in fuel filters, transmission fluid, etc. So last week they try and tell me that I needed to change my transmission fluid. They took a piece of paper and dabbed dirty fluid and another dot of clean fluid on it and told me that the dirty fluid was mine. I told them that I just had the transmission fluid changed 4 weeks earlier (and I did). I spent $225 for that and the transmission filter. I knew it needed it since it was never changed and the car has 86,000 miles on it. They tried to make me believe that that dirty spot was mine. Stupid me that I didn't just pull the transmission dipstick out of the engine and dab it on their paper to show them that they were bull**itting me. Just to confirm that the place that actually changed my transmission fluid did it, I checked the fluid after I left and it was not dirty and was the color of new transmission fluid. **ck you all at Jiffy Lube on Needham St. I hope you lose alot of business. Same goes for all the other locations around the world. I never trust anyone with my car unless I know them personally. read more

It has been a long time since i have been to a jiffy lube (b/c the last time i went it was gross and expensive) but..... i had coupon! so i gave it a try! I think this location is under new management, because my experience was terrific!!! 1. The whole process took a total of 7 minutes from when i arrived. 2. The employees were professional and extremely courteous, and updated me at every step of the process. 3. At no point did the employees push or "recommend" that i purchase a more expensive product or service. 4. The place was immaculate!! and they had some cool magazines and the news on the T.V. (i never got to look at them because they finished so quickly) 5. I got to use my coupon; which made this the cheapest oil change in the area. I definitely have to give props to the employees b/c they made my experience so good! I must admit that i really only read yelp reviews and never post them. But the costumer service was outstanding...and i really appreciated that! read more

Beware! I wish that I had read the other posts before going here. I went in for an oil change, and suddently I needed $400 worth of work- what a coincidence. Luckily, the guy was so bad at lying to me that I couldn't even pretend that I believed him. It was like something out of a bad sitcom. I would not go here again. read more
