I came in to get an oil change, and the attendant asked me to back up to let another customer in line ahead of me because they had arrived first. They then proceeded to have me wait while they took 2 more vehicles ahead of me. When they finally did get to after waiting an extra 20 minutes, there was not so much as an apology. Just got my oil changed at this place. Overall, the experience went well. However, I can't give them five stars for a couple of reasons. First of all, in this pandemic era, not a single employee, not one, wore a Covid mask. This is not only inconsiderate towards their customers, it is probably against the law since they have regular contact with customers. The other minor issue is that they were a bit dishonest. When I drove up, I specifically asked whether they had 5w-30, high mileage oil which is written right on the top of the engine. When I looked up, they were pouring oil from a container that was labeled 10w-40, high mileage oil. This was a minor consideration but it was not as they promised. Otherwise, they did as they said they would. Still, I won't be back here. Update. For the past several days, I have been noticing little puddles below my car. I finally took a look underneath. Oil is dripping from the drain plug, the bolt that closes the hole after the old oil is drained. It seems it was not tightened sufficiently. I suppose they have never heard of a torque wrench. read more

if i could give 0 stars i would. i came here yesterday to get an oil change and there was a kid who's name i saw was Jose there who was smoking! mind you, THIS IS AN OIL SHOP! and not only was he smoking, he was smoking weed. he had some other kid there that he was yapping to, the other guy was screaming-kid must be deaf much less wasnt in uniform either so i don't know if he was even a worker! All they did was laugh at me when i asked for an oil change. owner must be very lenient to let them smoke in an oil shop and have friends over when working. don't come to this shop if you want your car serviced. bad service read more

Decided to give Jiffy Lube a shot (tired of the dealers). I ended up leaving before I even got helped! I pulled up and there was a gentleman there. I got out and asked if I was ok to park there. Not the best ..normally they checked with drivers first to make sure oil / filters etc is of the recommended type for the car and they breakdown all the services before and after work is completed ...including type of filter replaced ...refills of water ..etc...in this branch I had to ask and wait for the receipt...why is this important? I took my car in to get serviced on Thursday January 14th. I needed a transmission fluid change with a new filter. I also had them replace my cabin filter. I have always services my car regularly and it has ran great with little to no problems. The day after I had this serviced performed at jiffy lube, I noticed my car was leaking transmission fluid. It wasn't a little but quite a bit of fluid. So I took my car back to the same place and they said they tightened it more and it was good to go. The next day, I notice it is still leaking. I have never had a leak on my jeep, so this was not a previous problem, but one that resulted in poor work performed on behalf of jiffy lube. I will not be taking my car in for a third time because I am afraid they do not have the tools or parts to service my jeep properly. I do not recommend jiffy lube for everyone. I will be seeking to file a complaint with the better business bureau and with jiffy lubes corporate office. read more

I got what I wanted, a fast reasonably priced oil and filter change. I'd give them another star if the tv in the waiting room wasn't constantly pixelating and I could have watched 15 minutes of the Golf Channel instead of getting frustrated and having to take in the local sights outside. The fifth star would have also required having my air filter in stock, not tossing my old one in the trash until you knew you had the correct new one, and after I noticed that you broke the cap off its holder on my coolant reservoir not just shrugging. I went for a simple oil change change, hours later my car smelled like burnt oil and open my hood and there was oil all over my engine! Spoke to a man name Ruben who had terrible customer service then Spoke to another man named Tom who advised me to put a RAG! over the oil cap area and drive back to their location! I was over an hour away!! They were no help! They obviously did something wrong! And had poor communication skills! I'm now having having to pay over $1000 for damages I'm not responsible for! When I ran a search for jiffy lube in my area, for some reason google thought that I was looking for online sex shops. Yeah, umm, no. Wrong kind of lube, google. This place is the closest to my house and since a buddy of mine lent me a car, I thought I'd get the full service to fix it up. I was in need of an oil change reallllly bad. I mean really bad! So I was in montebello and I had a brief minute to get an oil change. I yelped it and found this place. All the reviews looked great, I was excited to go to a legit place to get my oil changed. All was well. I also saw this $15 off coupon for this place, so I was pretty stoked! I pulled up and asked the gentleman how much an oil change is, and said $39.99. I was like "oh, I get it... $39.99, and then they take the $15 off, so it's like $25. Still a good deal!" So I told him "great! I have a $15.00 off coupon." He responds "ya... Um.... I need to talk to my manager about that." I was about to laugh at him and say what's there to talk about? But I was kind and told him go right ahead. He came back and goes "we don't accept that coupon here." First thought- if I walk into any corporate store, like Macy's and was going to buy cologne, and had $15 off and they didn't accept, corporate would flip out, cause they are a LEGIT company. Second thought, if I wasn't in a rush, I would have gave him my two cents about not accepting a corporate company coupon and left, but like I said, I needed the oil change bad. He offered to take $5 off instead of $15. I told him finish in 15 minutes and we've got a deal. He concurred. THEN I walk into their office and what do I see? A sign that says Signature Oil Change $34.99. I was blown away! I was like Really?! You're going to lie in my face that an oil change is $39.99, and "you'll take $5 off"?!! Anyways, to shorten this story, I got out of there in 20 minutes... They were kind enough to take off $5 from the $34.99 price. The other thing is that he says "your air filter needs to be changed," which I know it does. So I asked how much. He says "$40, but I can give it to you for $25." I passed on it. I just called Autozone to see how much the air filter for my car is and it's like $14. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. They seem too shady! One star given for giving me $5 off the $34.99 price. One star given cause they got me in and out quickly. That's it. "Lube it or lose it!" This Jiffy Lube location is great. They're fast, honest & reliable. Of course they do try to talk you into getting more than your car actually needs, but that generally happens at any Jiffy Lube or oil changing place you go to. (Well any place I've gone to anyway!) To be very honest though, I think the reason I like this Jiffy Lube the most is because it's on the same lot as a donut shop! Yay! Oil change and donuts!!! Giving it 4 stars though because it's a bit annoying to have to constantly tell them "No Thank you" over and over for the multiple services they keep offering to you while you wait for your car to be ready. read more

I gave it one star for the fast service, was in and out in 25 minutes on a Thursday around 5pm, not bad. But this is the WORST jiffy lube I have been to! ****STAY AWAY**** Compared to the Alhambra and Downey locations: *No one directed me to the waiting area, even after I stated it was my first time at THIS location. *They had a wet wood bench with a dirty mop taking up one end on the exterior of the "building" (if you can call it that). So I stood there for a few minutes until I walked in to ask if there was a waiting area. And what do you know??? They have a waiting area made up of 4 crammed chairs next to the bathroom, and a TV that kept losing signal. *Forget about complimentary water or coffee! *There is no one at the front desk, because there is NO FRONT DESK! *No one gave me a run down of what services they performed. Other locations ALWAYS go down the list of the services they performed, what liquids they topped off, and any services they recommend and that you may have denied. *This place is such a RIP OFF they never mentioned any of their specials or asked if I had a coupon. Clearly they only care about $$$ and don't care about keeping their customers. It is pathetic how they lure new VICTIMS with pathetic "promotions" on yelp, RIP OFF! *Never coming back and I advise you AVOID this location at all costs, I will be going back to the Alhambra/Downey locations. read more

Other jiffy lubes definitely do it better than this one. Hours posted say they open at 8:00 am. I roll up at 8:15 am for an oil change and the guy tells me they don't open for another 15 minutes. No big deal, I come back in 30 minutes and let the guy know I also need the rear passenger side tire checked because the tire light has come on repeatedly for it. Get my car back from the oil change and the light is still on. Look at my invoice and it says tires were inflated. As I'm about to drive off I remember that they also never gave me my fleet vehicle card back with all the information I need for future oil changes or service. Literally trying to figure out why I'm giving them 2 stars... I guess they got the oil change done quickly in like 20 minutes and were somewhat hospitable? read more

I went in for a simple oil change and notified the young guy that I had a coupon I wanted to use. He explained the oil change service and said he would be able to apply the coupon.
