I stopped here this morning, and had a few cars ahead of me. I was informed what the price was going to be for the oil change in my Charger right as I pulled up, and was given an estimated wait time. While I was waiting in the waiting area, Jason had walked in and was talking with a female customer about her vehicle. He explained her options on oil, and didn't try to up-sell her in any way. He then explained that her air filters didn't need to be changed, and would be fine waiting until the next oil change, unless she wanted them changed today. I had a lot of respect for the honesty of what her vehicle actually needed and transparency of the pricing and explanation of the different types of oil. He never once pressured her into buying any more expensive options and let her know that a conventional oil is more than sufficient. Jason and his staff were also professional towards me and we talked about my car a bit. Never once was I upsold on anything, either. I was just informed of preventative maintenance items that are recommended by the manufacturer based on the mileage of my vehicle. This location was clean, and even though it was busy (because it was a Saturday), the wait was not unreasonable in any way. read more

Let me start by saying that I have been a jiffy lube customer since 1990. My company began working for them as contractors when they were starting out in Los Angeles. They serviced my vehicles for over 30 years. It is equally hard for me to rate at five stars for outstanding, as it is for one star for not recommended. I pulled into this newer location near our business, and was greeted by a young man (Caleb?). I asked him how much for an oil change for my 1987 mercedes. He stated that European oil changes start at 100.00 and up. I tried to explain, that this being 1 of almost 80 vehicles that I have owned , that it required nothing more than a 15w40 oil, and why would it matter that it was European. I also possessed my own oil filter( a lesson learned when driving older cars vis-a-vis stock issues). He proceeded to tell me that if I didn't like it, then I could leave their facility. I did. Fast Eddie's on Eagle Blvd took care of my needs for 52.50, and a free car wash as well. While I know that Jiffy lube can provide their offered services, I have noticed many of these newer franchises in the treasure Valley "up selling" their customers . We received a coupon for a free first time oil change. Indeed it was free with the exception of Idaho State tax. The guys were professional and the process was simple. I was informed of upcoming maintenance base on manufacturers suggested guidelines, and then given the final bill for payment. They offer a good size waiting room with water, coffee, and TV. It was clean and perfect for the short wait. I will definitely give them another go. read more

I came in to get an oil change and these guys were SO honest and helpful. They noticed that I still had another 2500 miles to go and gave me the choice of waiting or changing early. This type of honestly and customer service is so rare nowadays. I will definitely be back in 2500miles. read more

It's always a pleasant experience when I come here to get my car serviced. I'm always out in 20 minutes or less, and they do a great job. They always have a coupon for $10 off a Signature Service and 15% off additional services. They do free Trip Checks if you're headed out of town and just want to make sure everything is running smoothly. They will also do a free top-off of your oil if you're running low but it's not time for your oil change yet. And best of all, the staff is super friendly. They always chat me up about my ancient car and how they think I take such good care of it. They probably say that to everyone but I don't care. It makes me feel like a valued customer, and that's important in a world full of crappy customer service (I'm looking at you, cable TV companies!) read more

I've been to other Jiffy Lube locations and had decent service. When we arrived here both bays had vehicles being serviced. They must have been both getting more than oil changes because we waited around 35 minutes. Another customer arrived and pulled in behind our vehicle (so bay 1 had no line and bay 2 now had two cars in line). The vehicle in bay 1 finished and a new customer pulled in. They were directed straight into bay 1. So me and the guy who got there after me had to waIt while employees had this new car cut in front of us. After about 5 minutes I went looking for an employee because we had been waiting about 40 minutes now. They were all in the bays. I collected my family and got in our vehicle. An employee came over to say they were almost done working on the car in front of us. I was too incensed at them having a customer cut in front of us after waiting long enough for two oil changes to have been done. We left with them looking at me like I was some a$$hole (I was polite, but direct...definitely not being an a$$hole). I later went to Einstein's where I received prompt, courteous service. No more Jiffy Lube for me, just Einsteins. read more
